Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of mathematical numeracy skills in class VIII students of SMPS Puncak Sumua. This study aims to improve the mathematical numeracy skills of class VIII students as research subjects. This type of research is a type of classroom action research (CAR) with the application of peer tutoring strategies. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive statistical data analysis. The results showed that the implementation of this strategy could improve students' mathematical numeracy skills as marked by increased student learning outcomes in cycle I and more in cycle II with the average learning outcomes in cycle I is 67.20 and in cycle II is 82.70. Proves that the application of peer tutoring strategies can increase.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pendekatan pembelajaran Index Card Match digunakan di Sekolah Yabes dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi akademik siswa kelas VIII Kristen. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 28 anak kelas VIII dan dikategorikan sebagai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Terdapat 25 soal pilihan ganda pada alat evaluasi. Setelah siklus awal, hanya 6 siswa (21,42%) yang lulus pre-test, sedangkan 13 siswa (46,42%) yang lulus post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Siklus kedua dimulai karena meskipun pada siklus pertama hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, namun hasil yang diperoleh masih jauh dari yang diharapkan sekolah. Pada siklus II, pre-test berjumlah 16 siswa (57,14%) dan post-test berjumlah 25 siswa (89,28%). Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Index Card Match di Sekolah Yabes Medan memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa

The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of learning media based on the Canva application increases students' interest in learning in Christian religious learning in Class VIII SMP Marisi Medan with a total of 26 people. This research uses a descriptive method, while the data analysis carried out by hypothesis research is product moment person correlation and the data collection tool is a questionnaire. From the test results, a correlation (r) of 0.63 was obtained with a determination test of 39.69% and to determine whether the correlation coefficient was significant at the real level (a) = 0.05 then a "t" test was conducted with the testing criteria if tcount obtained from the calculation is greater (>) than ttable at a significance level of 1-0.05 with dk= n – 2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases it is rejected. From the test results obtained tcount > ttable (3.98 > 1.71), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, a significant relationship can be found between the implementation of learning media based on the Canva application in increasing students' interest in learning in class VIII Christian religious education subjects at Marisi Medan Private Middle School. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan metode pembelajaran Alkitab dalam pertumbuhan rohani siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Agama Kristen kelas VIII SMP YAPIM Medan. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa/i kelas VIII YAPIM yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Dimana siswa akan diwawancarai oleh peneliti untuk melihat pertumbuhan rohani siswa, dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi kelompok dan tanya jawab dalam proses belajar di kelas VIII SMP.Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada pertumbuhan rohani siswa menggunakan metode pengajaran Alkitab dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Alkitab seperti ceramah, diskusi kelompok dan tanya jawab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di SMK Swasta Era Utama, Pancur Batu. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas X-TBSM sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan strategi inkuiri, dan kelas X-TKRO sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajarkan dengan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai post-test pada kelas eksperimen adalah 83,5, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah 44,72. Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari strategi inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilai thitung < ttabel yaitu -36.689 < 2,110 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa strategi inkuiri secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi yang diajarkan, dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Oleh karena itu, strategi inkuiri direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This paper explores a school implemented twelve-week full-time internship subject designed to enhance preservice primary teachers first experiential placement at school. This subject is specifically focused on preparing preservice teachers through orientating them in key facets of a school, thereafter contextualizing the theory studied at University within classroom practice, and ultimately developing further competencies in their teaching and learning methodology. Three stages of activities were implemented by the authors to compile the activity report which includes the Preparation phase, Implementation and Evaluation phase. The program was designed to be cumulative in nature, building on the learning, practice and reflection developed in the previous week and learning activities will be scaffolded to incorporate both independent and collaborative and peer learning. The results showed that an implementation of an internship experience improved a sense of readiness of intern teachers, confidence in classroom management, and general teaching ability. Although well-supported as a critical experience, internships take considerable time and effort to organize and execute. Measures of quality support the need for an intense focus during the internship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using the YouTube application on students' learning activeness in Christian Religious Education subjects in grade X at SMK YP Cerdas Mandiri. This research uses a quantitative method with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Descriptive statistics are used to describe the research data, while inferential statistics are used to test hypotheses and examine the relationships between variables. The results of the study show that the use of the YouTube application has a significant effect on students' learning activeness. Based on the correlation test, a correlation coefficient value of 0.3 was obtained, indicating a strong relationship between the use of YouTube and students' learning activeness. The t-test showed a t_calculated value of 2.67, which is greater than the t_table value of 1.69, meaning this relationship is significant. The coefficient of determination of 20.3% indicates that the use of YouTube contributes to 20.3% of students' learning activeness. Additionally, a simple linear regression analysis revealed the regression equation Y = 0.411 + 0.3X, meaning that each increase in YouTube usage will increase students' learning activeness. The independence and linearity tests of the regression also support the conclusion that the variables in this study are linear and independent. Thus, this study concludes that the YouTube application can significantly enhance students' learning activeness.
