Abstract

This study aims to find out how the management of dynamic archives in universities has been run by the Universitas PGRI Palembang in order to realize a cyber university as well as the challenges and obstacles experienced in the management of dynamic archives. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research and uses the analysis of the CIPP evaluation model. Informants in this study came from five archive managers. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and relevant literature studies. The data analysis technique includes four components, namely data collection, data condensation, data display and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that in archive management, PGRI University of Palembang has established an Archives Subdivision which is managed by the Library Unit. This has not been able to fulfill the archive management in each faculty. So that there are several challenges that must be carried out in archive management at Universitas PGRI Palembang, including designing an archive system with an archive retention schedule, shrinking archives, and maintaining archives. This study shows an overview of how archive management has never been studied before and can be used as a reference for other universities in South Sumatra that evaluating dynamic records management in each institution is important to do as early as possible.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze: (1) The influence of the Merdeka curriculum on Student Learning Outcomes; (2) The influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes; (3) The influence of the Merdeka curriculum and Learning Motivation together on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Payaraman with a sample of 117 students. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. Test the validity of the data using the bivariate correlations test, and test the reliability using the Cronbach Alpha test. Test prerequisites for analysis using normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. For data analysis use correlation test data analysis and linear regression test. The research results show that; (1) there is no significant influence between the Merdeka curriculum on student learning outcomes, (2) there is a significant influence between learning motivation on student learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Payaraman, (3) there is a joint influence between the Merdeka curriculum and learning motivation on student learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Payaraman with an influence of 6.7%. The remaining 93.3% is influenced by factors that are not variables in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of the driving school program in improving the quality of education at SMAN South Sumatra. This research was conducted at the South Sumatra High School located in Jakabaring, Palembang, South Sumatra. implementation in this research activity, namely for two months from November 10 to December 10, 2022. The research is a type of qualitative research with an analytical descriptive flow that has the aim of proving various kinds of norms and theories regarding the quality of education in terms of the Pancasila Strengthening Project Bangunlah jiwa and Body and its application to the object of research. In qualitative research, the information obtained is generally in the form of words, and descriptive, and the majority is not in the form of numbers. Collecting data and information obtained by researchers while in the field by obtaining direct surveys and documentation and research results, almost 90% of students can implement the driving school program to improve education at SMAN South Sumatra from the results of the researcher’s evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of peers on interest in continuing to higher education; (2) parents’ economic influence on interest in continuing to higher education; (3) the influence of peers and the economy of parents together on the interests of class XII students of SMA Negeri 2 Semendawai Barat Continuing to Higher Education. The population in this study were class XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Semendawai Barat for the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample in this study amounted to 83 students with probability sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research is prerequisite test and hypothesis test. The results of this study are: (1) The positive and significant influence of peers on the interest of class XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Semendawai Barat to continue higher education for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is indicated by a t-score of 8.255, a regression coefficient of 0.693, and a significance value of 0.000. Based on these conclusions, it can be said that the better the peers, the greater the interest in continuing to higher education. (2) The positive and significant financial impact on parents’ interest in continuing higher education in class XII students of SMA Negeri 2 Semendawai Barat for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation of teachers in public elementary schools in Payaraman District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This research was conducted on teachers in Payaraman district, Ogan Ilir Regency. The sample size was taken as many as 102 teachers. The sampling technique is intended for sampling, namely where the respondents are some of the teachers in Payaraman District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 25 statement items. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Findings have shown that teachers have a high motivation to go to work and have a job as a teacher.

Abstract

The reward system is something that is of concern to everyone, considering that appreciation means giving something related to work performance. A good reward system can also be part of a person’s motivation to excel. For this reason, this study examines the reward system and achievement motivation on job satisfaction felt by teachers. To conduct research in accordance with these rules, the researcher refers to research with quantitative methods. The data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through simple and multiple linear regression tests, because the data obtained was normally distributed and met the test requirements. The results of the research conducted state that the reward system partially has a significant influence on the job satisfaction of high school teachers in South OKU Rayon 3, as well as achievement motivation which is partially proven to contribute to teacher job satisfaction. The simultaneous testing stated that the reward system and achievement motivation were proven to have a significant influence on the job satisfaction of high school teachers in Rayon 3 OKU Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the principal’s leadership style and teacher’s work motivation influence the performance of public high school teachers in Muara Kuang District. The research was conducted at a public high school in Muara Kuang District. This research uses quantitative methods. The population of this research is State Senior High School teachers in Muara Kuang Sub-District, the sampling technique is used totaling sampling, namely the sample based on the total population of 41 respondents. Data collection is done by questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively using the program SPSS 26 for windows. From the research results it can be concluded that. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the principal’s leadership style, work motivation on the performance of public high school teachers in the Muara Kuang sub-district, which was shown from F-count of 4,894. These independent variables contributed 20.5% to the performance of public high school teachers in the Muara Kuang sub-district, while the remaining 79.5% was influenced by other variables not disclosed in this study.

Abstract

The results of the Final School Assessment revealed that pupils in class VII of State Middle Schools in the Sungaiselan District had poor learning outcomes in social studies. According to current understanding, both internal and external influences can have an impact on learning outcomes. The goal of this study is to ascertain the effects of internal and external variables on the learning outcomes of class VII students in social studies courses. Internal variables include learning motivation and interest. The learning results of class VII pupils in the Sungaiselan sub-district in social studies are the focus of this study. The use of questionnaires and documentation studies is the research methodology. The Slovin formula was used to establish the sample size in this study, which included 100 students. Proportional random sampling was utilized as the sampling technique. Multiple regression analysis is the method of data analysis that is employed. According to the study’s findings, (i) teacher competence positively affects class VII students’ learning outcomes in social studies subjects in the Sungaiselan District, and (ii) interest in learning positively affects class VII students’ learning outcomes in the social studies subject in the Sungaiselan District. Additionally, class VII students’ learning results in social studies in the Sungaiselan District are positively impacted by their enthusiasm to learn. Additionally, based on all computations, it was determined that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, indicating that the variables Teacher Competence (X1), Learning Interest (X2), and Learning Motivation (X3) had an impact on the Learning Outcome variable (Y) when assessed concurrently or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of the Spensa Pacak Learning Management System application and the ICT skills of subject teachers on students’ learning motivation. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Koba, Central Bangka Regency, using questionnaires. The results showed that the use of the Learning Management System application had no significant impact on students’ learning motivation. However, the ICT skills of subject teachers had a significant influence on students’ motivation. The use of the Learning Management System application and subject teachers’ ICT skills simultaneously had a significant influence on students’ motivation. The coefficient of determination for students showed a large influence of the Learning Management System application and subject teachers’ ICT skills, with 82.3% influenced by other factors not mentioned in the research.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze in depth the principal’s strategy in developing teacher professional performance competencies to improve education quality in SD Negeri 1 Koba Bangka Tengah while the discussion of this research focuses on (1) Principal leadership strategy steps; (2) Constraints faced in developing professional competence of teachers; (3) Model of developing professional competence of teachers which is suggested in the future in improving the quality of education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data was checked by using source triangulation and method triangulation techniques. Research informants are principals and teachers. The results of the study show that: (1) The strategic steps of the principal’s leadership in developing teacher competence to improve the quality of education are the first formal strategy, namely the teacher assigned by the institution to attend education and training, the second non-formal strategy is the teacher on their wishes and efforts to train and develop themselves related to their work or position; (2) There are several obstacles faced in developing teacher competence, namely the lack of or limited IT mastery by the teacher, the lack of teacher creativity in the learning process in the classroom, and the lack of scientific work made by the teacher; (3) The model that can be used to improve the competence of teachers in carrying out their duties is through In-service education or In-service training programs.
