Abstract

Pembelajaran yang dilakukan Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung belum menggunakan teknologi berbasis digital. Padahal penerapan pembelajaran untuk menuju abad 21 harus berbasis digital dan pembelajaran merupakan tolak ukur sebagai sarana dalam meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, diperlukan pemahaman dan keterampilan KKG untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai penggunaan teknologi berbasis e-learning bagi KKG Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan workshop melalui teknik ceramah, tanyajawab, diskusi dan latihan praktik. Pemberian materi dimulai dari pengenalan e-learning dan praktik penggunaan moodle dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, semua peserta sangat antusias dan mengikuti setiap sesi kegiatan sampai akhir. Kegiatan ini pun dilaksanakan dengan sukses, lancar dan sesuai dengan rencana serta berdampak pada peningkatan pemahaman pengetahuan dan keterampilan KKG dalam penggunakan e-learning berbasis moodle dari 19% menjadi 35%. Artinya adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru sebesar 16% didalam penggunaan moodle untuk pembelajaran. Diharapkan melalui workhop ini, KKG dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknologi bebasis moodle untuk menumbuhkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of readability of discourse in 2013 thematic books for grade IV SD semester 1 revision 2018 in order to determine whether it is appropriate or not with the grade level. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data used is in the form of discourse texts in the 2013 curriculum thematic book for grade IV SD semester 1 revision 2018 published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The technique used in this study is a data analysis technique, where the data source becomes a reference for clear mapping so that the calculation results can be measured and the level of readability is determined using the fry chart steps. The results of this study indicate that from 15 samples of discourse as data analyzed for their readability, it can be concluded that the readability level of the thematic books of the 2013 curriculum for fourth grade elementary school semester 1 revision 2018 using a fry chart consisting of five themes obtained the following results: Thematic Book Theme 1 The Beauty of Togetherness obtained readability results for grades 6, 7, and 8 so that it was not suitable for fourth grade elementary school students. Thematic Book Theme 2 Always Save Energy obtained readability results for grades 8, 9, and 10 so it was not suitable for fourth grade elementary school students. Thematic Book Theme 3 Caring for Living Creatures has a readability level for grades 6, 7, and 8 so it is not suitable for fourth grade elementary school students. Thematic Books Theme 4 Various Jobs obtained readability results for grades 4,5, and 6 so that they were suitable for fourth grade elementary school students. Theme 5 My Heroes obtained readability results for grades 8, 9, and 10 so it was not suitable for fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Sukasari Bandung tahun akademik 2013/2014 mengalami kesulitan jika diberikan tugas untuk menulis narasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen model two group post-test design. Kemampuan menulis narasi pada siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan teknik mind mapping memiliki nilai rata-rata 81,95 dengan nilai tertinggi adalah 92 dan terendah 68. Sedangkan kemampuan menulis narasi pada siswa yang belajar dengan teknik konvensional memiliki nilai rata-rata 76,2 dengan nilai tertinggi 86 dan terendah 67. Hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikan 0,05 (95%) dengan ketentuan apabila thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yakni 2,527 > 1,729 berarti Ho ditolak sebaliknya Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, teknik pembelajaran mind mapping berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SDN 4 Sukarasa Kota Bandung Tahun 2014.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kesulitan siswa dalam berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran menulis narasi siswa kelas V di SDN Lengkong Kecamatan Bandung, upaya guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menulis narasi dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dan siswa pada pengembangan kritis berpikir dalam menulis naratif. Sampel penelitian di sekolah dasar Pelita dan sekolah dasar Karangpawulang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling pada 283 siswa dan 5 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan observasi, tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) kemampuan berpikir kritis rata-rata siswa kelas V adalah sebesar 75,38 dan sedang. Indikator tertinggi adalah mengidentifikasi informasi yang relevan dari teks naratif sebesar 83,40% dan indikator terendah adalah analisis masalah pada teks naratif yaitu 63,48%, (2) Upaya guru dalam mengembangkan pemikiran kritis siswa tentang pembelajaran menulis narasi melalui tugas, pertanyaan dan menjawab dan memberikan arahan (3) Kendala yang dihadapi siswa dalam pengembangan berfikir kritis dalam menulis adalah kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dan kesulitan dalam mengungkapkan ide ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Sedangkan kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru tidak tahu metode atau teknik dalam pembelajaran dan tidak ada penilaian berpikir kritis siswa. Ini karena guru tidak memahami indikator pemikiran kritis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out (1) an overview of the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS), (2) how much influence the implementation of the GLS has on students' reading interest, (3) the obstacles in implementing the GLS and (4) the efforts made to overcome obstacles in GLS implementation. The method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires and interviews for data collection. The results of the study showed: (1) the implementation of GLS at SDN 006 Buahbatu, SDN 184 Buahbatu, SDN 246 Margacinta and SDN 095 Kebonjati had been carried out in accordance with the habit of reading 15 minutes before the KBM started, there was a reading corner in each class equipped with various reading books, ( 2) there is an influence between GLS on reading interest of class IV students of 29.7%, (3) there are several obstacles in the implementation of GLS including students feeling bored quickly while reading, lack of funds to support facilities for implementing GLS, lack of variety of book variations provided, and finally the lack of interest of students to visit the library, (4) efforts that can be made to overcome existing obstacles include doing ice breaking so students don't feel bored, making proposals regarding funds to the government to support facilities in implementing GLS by preparing various types of reading materials, and managing the library with s interesting as possible in order to attract the interest of students. Keywords: School Literacy Movement, Reading Interest, Elementary School ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) gambaran umum pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS), (2) seberapa besar pengaruh pelaksanaan GLS terhadap minat baca peserta didik, (3) hambatan dalam pelaksanaan GLS dan (4) upaya yang dilakukan guna mengatasi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan GLS. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan wawancara untuk pengumpulan data. Perolehan hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) pelaksanaan GLS di SDN 006 Buahbatu, SDN 184 Buahbatu, SDN 246 Margacinta dan SDN 095 Kebonjati sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan pembiasaan 15 menit membaca sebelum KBM dimulai, adanya sudut baca ditiap kelas dengan dilengkapi beragam buku bacaan, (2) terdapat pengaruh antara GLS terhadap Minat Baca peserta didik kelas IV sebesar 29,7%, (3) terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam pelaksanaan GLS diantaranya peserta didik merasa cepat bosan saat membaca, kurangnya dana untuk mendukung fasilitas pelaksanaan GLS, kurang beragamnya variasi buku yang disediakan, dan yang terakhir kurangnya minat peserta didik untuk mengunjungi perpustakaan, (4) upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada diantaranya dengan melakukan ice breaking agar peserta didik tidak merasa bosan,membuat proposal mengenai dana kepada pemerintah untuk mendukung fasilitas dalam pelaksaan GLS dengan menyiapkan beragam jenis bahan bacaan, dan menata perpustakaan dengan semenarik mungkin agar dapat menarik minat peserta didik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' reading comprehension using the SQ3R method with the problem of low comprehension in understanding reading texts. The research method is a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. The population is class IV students with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a test. The calculation uses the Mann Whitney test. Based on data analysis, the experimental class obtained an N-Gain test result of 0.73 and 0.67 in the control class. Thus, there is an average increase in reading comprehension skills using the SQ3R method compared to conventional learning through lectures.

Abstract

The background of this study is the difficulty in improving speaking skills, the average value of students' speaking skills at SDN Cileunyi 3 in learning under the KKM, because there are students who lack confidence when speaking, learning tools are not maximal when teaching, delivering material by lecturing , learning is focused on educators, therefore when the learning process of students tends to become monotonous. Based on this, it is necessary to have a learning model so that students must interact more with their friends and teachers in learning so that they become accustomed to speaking and communicating. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning learning model. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental quasi-experimental research method. The design used is the control group design. Data collection techniques through tests, observation, and documentation. The tests used used the pretest and posttest which were used as data on students' speaking skills. The sample used was class IV-A as the experimental class using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model and class IV-B as the control class using the Conventional model. Data processing techniques were carried out using the normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t test, NGain test and effect size test assisted by IBM SPSS Statistic 25 software. Based on the research results, an overview of the learning process was obtained using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Type assisted learning model. media scrapbook. There is a big influence on the use of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning learning model with a value of 1.8 in the effect size test and a significant value of 0.000 through the Independent Sample T-Test.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low speaking skills of students in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share type cooperative model on the speaking skills of fourth grade students at SDN 160 Sukalaksana Bandung City in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a quasi experiment method with a research design of nonequivalent control group design. The population used in this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 160 Sukalaksana Bandung City, with a sample of two classes, namely class IV-A with 27 students as the experimental class, and class IV-B with 27 students as the control class. The data of this study were obtained using a speaking skill assessment rubric which was validated using the opinion of experts (judgment experts). The results showed that: 1) The description of the learning process of the experimental class is better than the control class, and the application of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model can affect students' speaking skills. 2) The results of the hypothesis test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 so that there is a difference in speaking skills between students who use the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model and students who use the conventional model. 3) There is an increase in students' speaking skills between students who use the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model and students who use conventional models, this can be seen through the average value of the experimental class pretest of 46.85, and the average post-test of 81.67. Meanwhile, the control class obtained an average pretest of 43.78, and an average post-test of 73.78. 4) Based on the effect size results, the use of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model has an influence of 1.18 on students' speaking skills. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that using the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model can affect the speaking skills of students in class IV SDN 160 Sukalaksana.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the SAS method assisted by picture word cards on the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students in elementary schools. In this study using a quantitative approach with a research design using a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental design. The samples in this study were class I-A, which consisted of 25 students as class and class I-B, which consisted of 25 students as the control class. The data collection technique used in this study is through tests and observations. The tests used are pre-test and ¬post-test. Based on the research results, the experimental class obtained an average pretest score of 45.53 with an average posttest score of 86.12. Meanwhile, the average value of the control class pretest was 44.86 and the average posttest value of the control class was 66.96. The results of the tests carried out by researchers in the experimental class and control class, it can be concluded that the posttest score was found to be greater than the pretest, which means that students' initial reading ability increases. The researcher used an independent test sample t test to find the effect of the SAS method assisted by picture word cards on the beginning reading ability of first grade elementary school students. It is known that the calculated t value is 16.139 with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence on the initial reading ability of first grade elementary school students in the experimental class and the control class. Then in accordance with the decision making that has been determined then that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus the researchers concluded that there was an effect of using the SAS method assisted by picture word cards on the initial reading ability of grade 1 students in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems found in class V at SDN Budhi Karya, namely the lack of students' ability to write narrative essays. The type of research used by researchers is a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental or experimental research like an experiment focuses on designnonequivalent control group design. The population used by researchers is all class V students at SDN Budhi Karya, and the sample used by researchers is class VA which is the experimental class and class VB is the control class. The sample in this study used techniques sampling purposive. The instruments used in data collection were tests, namely pretests and posttests to measure students' essay writing skills after being given treatment. The results of the research show that the use of the think talk write type cooperative learning model has an influence with an effect size value of 0.37 in the medium category.
