Abstract

The Open University is one of the campuses of choice for students who work while studying. Limited time due to busy work causes nutritional problems. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between employment status and balanced nutrition knowledge with the nutritional status of Open University students. Cross-sectional research design with respondents totaling 84 people. The study was conducted from November to December 2022. Data collection using google form. The data is processed with the SPSS program and presented in descriptive form and correlation tests. The relationship between variables is analyzed with the Spearman Test. A total of 73.8% of respondents were employed and 26.2% were unemployed. The average nutritional knowledge of respondents was 68.78%. Half of the respondents had normal nutritional status, 38% overnutrition status and 11.4% undernourished. The results of the study did not have a relationship between employment status and nutritional status but there was a positive relationship between nutritional knowledge and nutritional status. The value of the correlation coefficient between the variables of occupational status and balanced nutrition knowledge is 0.312, which shows that there is a positive correlation and relationship between employment status and nutritional knowledge with nutritional status.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: To test the suitability of textured picture books equipped with crossword puzzles as a learning medium for Biology, epithelial tissue sub-material for class XI semester 1, it was assessed by experts and teachers and reviewed based on the effectiveness of its use. Methodology: This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D development model. The research samples involved were 18 test students and 16 control students. Qualitative data was obtained from advice from material experts and media experts, quantitative data from the results of assessments carried out by media experts, material experts, teachers and students Main Findings: Based on the assessment of media material experts, it has appropriate criteria (very good) with a percentage of 90.9%, the assessment according to media experts is included in the appropriate criteria (very good) with a percentage of 85.5% and the assessment according to teaching teachers is in the appropriate category (very good) with a percentage of 98.48%. The effectiveness of the media on student grades is in the quite effective category with an average test student score of 6.77 compared to an average control student score of 5.70. The media readability test after use in learning is in the very good category with a percentage of 86.1%. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its innovative approach in presenting learning materials, expanding evaluation methods, and its potential to increase students' understanding and involvement in learning epithelial tissue topics.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in protecting marine and coastal ecosystems and reducing the risk of natural disasters can be achieved through mangrove planting activities at Cemara Beach. Mangroves are useful in maintaining ecosystem balance, protecting the coastline from abrasion and absorbing carbon dioxide which can reduce the impact of climate change. Mangrove planting activities involve local communities in the planting and maintenance process, and contribute to improving community welfare and environmentally-based economic development. Mangrove planting activities use seedlings aged 3 to 6 months. Mangrove planting is in a location with a water depth of 10 to 50 cm. The size of the mangrove seedlings planted is 15 to 30 cm. The type of mangrove planted at Cemara Beach is Rhizophora. Mangrove planting activities support SDGs 13, 14, dan 15 tentang climate action, life below water, and life on land.

Abstract

The e-Canteen system enhances efficiency and user experience in electronic-based canteen services. The study aimed to develop a platform streamlining transactions, inventory management, and interaction between customers and canteen service providers. Before implementation, critical issues identified included manual inventory management and slow ordering processes, which created inefficiencies. The system allows customers to order, pay, and track stock availability online, leading to a more efficient and convenient purchasing process. For canteen service providers, automated inventory management helps optimize stock control and reduces manual errors, promising a more streamlined and error-free operation. The E-Canteen system offers significant benefits to both customers and service providers. Customers enjoy a more efficient and convenient purchasing process, while service providers benefit from optimized stock control and reduced manual errors, fostering a more productive and error-free work environment. Additionally, BLU Unram can monitor canteen performance, enabling data-driven decisions to improve services and policies. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, which ensured a user-centered design and rapid adaptation to feedback. Findings from the study demonstrated a 30% improvement in operational efficiency, with user satisfaction significantly increased according to internal surveys. The E-Canteen system addresses the operational challenges of managing canteen services and integrates smoothly with modern technological advancements, providing a scalable and adaptive solution for future growth. This system effectively resolves issues in traditional canteen management, offering benefits to customers and service providers regarding efficiency, convenience, and service quality.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed the way people interact with technology, with ChatGPT emerging as a standout innovation in natural language processing (NLP). While it offers immense benefits, such as improving productivity and accessibility, it has also sparked debates about trust, transparency, and user experience. This makes understanding public sentiment about ChatGPT both timely and essential.This study explores user sentiments by combining K-Means clustering and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models for analysis. The research utilized a dataset from Kaggle, which underwent extensive preprocessing, including text cleaning, tokenization, and lemmatization. Key features were extracted using TF-IDF and Word2Vec techniques, while clustering was refined with the Elbow Method and Silhouette Score. The data was grouped into three clusters focusing on ChatGPT’s functions, its developers, and user activities. Sentiment analysis using LSTM achieved an impressive accuracy of 98% after five training cycles. The findings highlight that negative sentiments, particularly around technical challenges and transparency, dominate user feedback, signaling areas for improvement. While positive sentiments exist, they remain overshadowed by critical perspectives. This study underscores the importance of enhancing user trust and experience while ensuring ethical and transparent AI development. The insights provided aim to guide developers and policymakers in creating AI technologies that are more user-focused and socially responsible. Future research should include multilingual and cross-platform data to paint a more comprehensive picture.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) Kabupaten Sumbawa bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Sumbawa dalam mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis digital, yaitu Sistem Informasi Pertanian Sumbawa (SiTAWA), untuk meningkatkan efisiensi layanan publik di sektor pertanian. Implementasi frontend dari sistem ini memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan pengalaman pengguna yang optimal dalam mengakses layanan pengaduan masyarakat, pengumpulan data pertanian, dan penyusunan laporan bulanan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan dan implementasi frontend dari desain UI/UX SiTAWA menggunakan framework React JS. React JS dipilih karena keunggulannya dalam membangun antarmuka yang responsif, modular, dan mudah dikelola. Melalui pendekatan desain UI/UX yang baik, diharapkan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan aksesibilitas, efisiensi, serta transparansi layanan pertanian bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi frontend berbasis React JS mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses pelaporan dan pengaduan digital. Selain itu, penerapan prinsip UI/UX yang tepat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pengalaman pengguna, baik dari sisi petani, masyarakat, maupun pihak dinas terkait. Dengan demikian, SiTAWA dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mendukung transformasi digital sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Sumbawa.

Abstract

Transparansi informasi di kantor layanan publik sangat penting sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan penyebaran informasi melalui media digital seperti sistem informasi. Pelestarian budaya melalui taman budaya memerlukan kegiatan yang relevan bagi masyarakat untuk mempelajari kebudayaan setempat. Taman Budaya Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) sebagai unit pelaksana teknis bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan budaya melalui berbagai kegiatan, tetapi saat ini hanya mengandalkan media sosial. Mengembangkan sistem informasi yang terstruktur dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dan transparansi kelembagaan sekaligus memastikan penyampaian informasi yang tepat waktu. User Centered Design (UCD) diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi sistem, mencapai tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi di antara responden dan mengonfirmasi efektivitasnya untuk penyebaran informasi digital. Dilakukan pengujian pada sistem dengan menguji prinsip User Interface (UI), yaitu konsistensi visibilitas, keterlibatan pengguna, efisiensi, dan kesederhanaan. Pada pengujian yang dilakukan dengan melibatkan 21 responden dari Taman Budaya NTB, masing-masing komponen prinsip UI mendapatkan nilai rata-rata di atas 4 pada skala 1-5 yang menunjukkan sangat tidak setuju sampai sangat setuju. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa responden menilai sistem sudah memenuhi aspek konsistensi, visibilitas, keterlibatan pengguna, efisiensi, dan kesederhanaan dengan baik.

Abstract

Although Indonesia has the third largest population in the world, the number of datasets available in the field of text processing in Indonesian is still very limited. Therefore, this research utilizes the ability of multilingual models that can be trained with multiple languages to predict emotions based on low-resource language such as Indonesian. Several training scenarios were conducted to evaluate the transferability and performance of these multilingual models compared to the monolingual IndoBERT model. The experimental results show that XLM-R outperforms mBERT and achieves competitive performance to IndoBERT, with XLM-R and IndoBERT achieving F1-score of 0.7793 and 0.7733 respectively. XLM-R also demonstrates competitive results on other evaluation metrics. These findings suggest that XLM-RoBERTa could be a promising alternative for emotion detection in languages with limited resources, such as Indonesian.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan kemudahan mendapatkan makanan cepat saji mendorong remaja untuk memilih makanan yang rendah nilai gizi, seperti makanan olahan, minuman manis, camilan tinggi kalori dan rendah serat. Kondisi ini menyebabkan perubahan pola makan dan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat serta meningkatkan risiko gangguan kesehatan. Sekolah menjadi tempat strategis untuk melakukan perubahan gaya hidup sehat pada remaja melalui edukasi gizi dan penguatan sarana Unit Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk implementasi gaya hidup sehat di sekolah melalui kegiatan edukasi gizi sayur, buah dan aktivitas fisik serta penguatan sarana UKS. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini di lakukan di SMA Swasta Bandung sejak bulan Maret sampai Juni 2025. Peserta sosialisasi adalah guru Pembina UKS, siswa anggota UKS dan 49 orang siswa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi kegiatan edukasi mengenai pentingnya konsumsi sayur dan buah, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi My Eduvegfruit, edukasi senam ritmik untuk kebugaran serta pemberian dan pelatihan alat kesehatan untuk UKS kepada pihak sekolah. My Eduvegfruit dirancang untuk memantau dan meningkatkan kecukupan konsumsi sayur dan buah harian siswa. Aplikasi ini menyediakan fitur edukasi, pencatatan asupan buah sayur harian yang memudahkan remaja secara mandiri mengelola pola makan sehat serta membandingkan dengan kecukupan serat satu hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang sayur, buah dan senam ritmik rata-rata 90,3%. Penguatan sarana UKS dan pelatihan pengukuran antropometri pada siswa dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pemantauan kesehatan siswa secara berkala. Implementasi program ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan edukasi, fasilitas, dan kolaborasi semua pihak, dapat tercipta lingkungan sekolah yang sehat dan berkelanjutan.
