ABSTRACTMental demand dominated more than physical demand in the development of technology. Collaboration between cyber and automatic technology in the era of Industry 4.0 required worker to interact with computers to handle their job. Visual Display Terminal (VDT) has been used in the Central Control Room of one of the cement industries in Indonesia. CCR operators work in particular room and are responsible for supervising, monitoring, operating machinery and equipment, communicating deviations and writing a logbook of operating quantities every hour. This job requires a high level of alertness. Therefore, measuring mental workload, work stress, work fatigue, and situation awareness is necessary. The relationship between variables was tested using path analysis. The results showed that mental workload and work stress positively correlate with fatigue. Mental workload has a positive relationship with situation awareness. Job stress and work fatigue do not have a positive relationship to situation awareness. Install and activate a signal or alarm to indicate the critical phase of the operator were recommended to increase situation awareness.

Abstract

KPSP Setia Kawan has two types of farms, namely conventional dairy farms and organic dairy farms. The research results show that in the milk production process of 1 kg of ECM (Energy Corrected Milk) which was delivered to the farm gate for 1 year, the total carbon footprint of milk produced by dairy farms in 2010 was 1.23 ± 0.04 kg CO2 Eq/kg ECM, 80% comes from on-farm activities. This research will apply the Life Cycle Assessment method with the CMLIA Baseline impact method. This method can be used to carry out impact assessments in the livestock sector so it is common for LCA studies in the dairy sector so it is most suitable for conducting comparative studies. It is hoped that with this research, animal husbandry can find out the effectiveness of implementing organic cattle farming in reducing environmental impacts compared to conventional cattle farming and help promote animal husbandry that prioritizes environmental aspects in the production and supporting processes.

Abstract

One of the problems with hospital services is that queues are important because they affect hospital productivity. Hospital queues can be caused by the large number of patients and the length of time the patient is treated. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 of 2022, the standard of patient satisfaction with health services must reach ≥ 90% where one indicator is the length of waiting time. Long waiting times or queues can cause medical services to be less than optimal, especially for patients who have emergency complaints. Therefore, to increase the productivity of hospital services, a human health diagnosis system was designed through digital screening to make it easier for doctors to diagnose patient illnesses. The design of this disease diagnosis system was carried out using methods using forward chaining and neural network methods. This innovation is also equipped with severity level detection and treatment recommendations to patients. This research aims to create a knowledge model that can predict patient disease. The effectiveness test was carried out by taking 15 samples of respondents who had different symptoms. The results of this research were that the accuracy level of patient disease diagnosis testing reached 86.6% with the functional capability of the designed diagnostic application functioning at 100%. With this innovation, diagnosis of symptoms of human disease can be carried out precisely and precisely so that it can help medical personnel in increasing hospital productivity and the level of health in every community in Indonesia.

Abstract

The composition of waste generated from human activities is 60-70% organic waste, and the remainder is non-organic waste (30-40%). Of this non-organic waste, plastic waste makes up the second largest portion, at 14%. The large percentage of household waste represents both a problem and an opportunity to address the waste problem at its source. This can be achieved by involving and educating housewives who come into direct contact with household waste. Housewives should be educated on the importance of managing waste from its source, using the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), classifying the types of plastic waste, and handling them appropriately. Educated housewives are expected to become ambassadors who will spread their understanding of the importance of changing the public's mindset regarding plastic waste management.

Abstract

CTS is arranged in outer muscle problems. This infection is brought about by pressure of the middle nerve at the wrist. Occupational factors are work- related risk factors, such as working quickly, repetitive movements, work stress, work that uses a lot of wrists and vibrations. The motivation behind this study is to decide the impact of word related elements to CTS frequency on regulatory specialists. This study uses cross sectional design with 35 respondents as sample. To determine hand posture was carried out by observation and interpretation with RULA, measurement of repetitive motion use a stopwatch, and work stress use Stress Diagnosis Survey. Utilize the Phalen's Test and the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire to determine the incidence of CTS. The aftereffect of prescreening on managerial specialists uncovered that 40% laborers are positive for CTS. While the analysis uses binary logistic regression to determine the influence of occupational factors to CTS incident. Variables that influence CTS are repetitive motion of using mouse (p=0.005), repetitive motion of typing (p=0.027), and work stress (p=0.027). Therefore, it is necessary to give recommendations based on related variables (repetitive motion and work stress) in order to minimize the occurrence of CTS.
