Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning achievement in the material My Ambition to Become a Good Child through the application of the Discovery Learning model in class V of SDN 088 Panyabungan. This learning model was chosen because it can stimulate students' activeness in finding concepts independently, improve their understanding, and learning outcomes. With this approach, students are more involved in the learning process and are able to develop critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews with students and teachers. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning achievement, which was indicated by an increase in the average value and increased active participation of students in learning activities. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning model can effectively improve student learning achievement. Therefore, this model is recommended as an alternative in learning to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes, especially in Islamic Religious Education material

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis materi autentik yang disediakan oleh guru dan menganalisis bagaimana materi-materi ini digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PjBL. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada kelas X IPA, di mana siswa bekerja dalam kelompok untuk menghasilkan proyek flipbook dengan tema "Olahraga dan Kesehatan." Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan tiga jenis materi autentik lagu, video, dan podcast yang dibagikan dengan berbagai kelompok siswa. Materi-materi ini diterapkan dalam enam tahap utama model PjBL: merumuskan pertanyaan penting, merancang proyek, penjadwalan, memantau implementasi, mengevaluasi hasil, dan merefleksikan pengalaman belajar. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan materi autentik dapat meningkatkan motivasi, kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan pemahaman kontekstual bahasa Inggris siswa. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran guru dalam memfasilitasi eksplorasi materi dan memilih sumber belajar yang relevan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang lebih bermakna, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to improve the ability to read Q.S al-Ma'un through the listening team strategy in grade V students of SD Negeri 10506 Tapusnabolak with Classroom Action Research (CAR). The limitation of the problem in the discussion discussed is how to improve the ability to read Q.S al-Ma'un through the listening team strategy in SD Negeri 100506 Tapusnabolak. The purpose of this study is to explain how to improve student learning outcomes in reading Q.S al-Ma'un in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for grade V at SD Negeri 100506 Tapusnabolak. In this discussion the author uses the classroom action research method. CAR is a research activity that seeks to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes through a cyclical action based on the teacher's in-depth observation of the problems that occur and believes that they will get the best solution for students in their own classroom environment. Cycle I, students who have not completed or have not reached the KKM are 33.33% while students who have completed their studies are 66.66%. The average student learning outcomes in cycle I were 77.5%. Based on the test results, in cycle I, the success of the research has not been achieved because students who have reached the minimum completion level set ≤ 80%. In cycle II, students have achieved 91.66% learning completion. The average student learning outcomes in cycle II have reached 83.66. This shows that Islamic Religious Education using the Listening Team Strategy has been successful because the minimum completion level of student achievement is 80%. Listening Team Strategy

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the character of children in Lepo-Lepo Village, Baruga District, Kendari City, to find out the problems of parents in shaping children's character in Lepo-Lepo Village, Baruga District, Kendari City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. It is hoped that the benefits of this research will provide benefits both theoretically and practically, as well as being beneficial for children and also for researchers. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out based on descriptive analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: (1) Children's character traits are affected by bad company, including some children who have tried smoking and are less polite to their parents because they like to fight or argue with their parents, interrupt conversations when someone is talking, lie, and children like to say harsh things with their friends. (2) The problems of parents in forming children's character include the child's lack of awareness of advice from their parents, lack of togetherness between parents and children because parents are busy working, often play games, environmental influences that make children like to lie and say harsh things.
