Abstract

Many pregnant women still do not undergo HIV screening, which is a problem both in Indonesia and internationally. Objective to explore HIV screening in pregnant women. Method scoping review using the PRISMA-ScR checklist framework and selected with inclusion and exclusion criteria. This literature review has screened articles from three databases totaling 1,070 articles, then 10 selected articles were found. Furthermore, the author found themes in this literature review, including HIV test results in pregnant women and two of the themes were factors related to HIV screening in pregnant women, namely socio-demographic factors and health factors. Conclusion: The researcher concluded that the incidence of HIV is high in developing countries. Gender issues were also found in this literature review that many HIV screening services only focus on pregnant women. Furthermore, the findings also stated that pregnant women who live with their partners are still actively having sexual relations can be a factor in the occurrence of new cases.

Abstract

Pregnancy and the postpartum period are periods with a continuous and ongoing risk of being infected with HIV/AIDS. Pregnant and breastfeeding women (postpartum period) living with HIV are targets for mother-to-child HIV prevention. HIV transmission generally occurs as a result of human behavior, thereby placing individuals in a situation that is vulnerable to infection. HIV infection is a group of infectious diseases and is one of the factors that can influence maternal and child mortality. This research aims to analyze the behavior of pregnant women regarding HIV/AIDS using pre and post personal counseling methods at the Sentani Community Health Center, Jayapura Regency in 2024. The research sample is pregnant women using a purposive sampling technique according to predetermined criteria. Data analysis used a non-parametric test, namely the Mc Nemar test. The results obtained were changes in pregnant women's knowledge about HIV/AIDS with the results of calculating 05, there was a change in the attitude of pregnant women regarding HIV/AIDS prevention obtained by X2 count 25.03 > 3.841 value α= 0.031 < 0.05. There was a change in the behavior of pregnant women towards preventing HIV/AIDS, obtained X2 count 6.32 > 3.841 value α= 0.500 < 0.05. From these results, it can be concluded that there has been a change in the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women regarding HIV/AIDS prevention at the Sentani Community Health Center, Jayapura Regency. It is recommended that pregnant women be more active in seeking information independently about HIV/AIDS and for health workers to continue to increase their knowledge about HIV/AIDS so that they can distribute appropriate and quality information to pregnant women.

Abstract

Elderly (elderly) is the final stage of development in the human life cycle which is a natural process that cannot be avoided, runs continuously, and continuously. As they get older, the elderly certainly experiences changes physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. The cause of these changes can interfere with sleep quality. The level of physical ability that has decreased is very influential on the quality of sleep of the elderly. The purpose of this community service was to convey important information to maintain health for the elderly by routinely carrying out sports such as elderly gymnastics, so that the elderly can carry out normal activities. The method was counseling for the population group of all elderly at the Sereh Village Posyandu as many as 32 people. The result showed that there was an increase in knowledge about the elderly.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a medical term that occurs during menstruation and causes pain caused by uterine contractions. Dysmenorrhea is not a disease but a problem that periodically makes a woman feel uncomfortable during her menstrual period. The purpose of this community service is to increase the understanding of adolescents in SMA IT Insan Cendekia Kabupaten Jayapura about the handling of dysmenorrhea. The implementation of this community service activities was at namely SMA IT Insan Cendekia Kabupaten Jayapura povinsi Papua, Jl. Yowanibi-Polres, Doyo Baru, Kecamatan Waibu. The partners in this activity were young women who were in the in SMA IT Insan Cendekia Kabupaten Jayapura area as many as 20 teenagers. The activity began with the opening, presentation of material, and post test orally exam. The final result of the counseling activity was as many as 90% of adolescents who gave positive responses and experienced an increase in understanding about dysmenorrhea and an increase in knowledge from an average score of 1 to 8.88 which was seen from the enthusiasm of adolescents when listening to the material and answering the questions asked and great appeal to apply what has been given.

Abstract

Program Keluarga Harapan khusunya bagi ibu hamil sebagai penerima kini banyak menimbulkan perspektif. Terutama dengan adanya tujuan bantuan sosial yakni dibuat untuk membantu perekonomian masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan pandangan penerima PKH di lokasi Kampung Mandiri Energi Kelurahan Pu’uwatu Kota Kendari. Dalam penulisan ini menggunakan konsep Kebijakan Sosial Shore and Whight (1997) mengenai kebijakan sebagai alat yang mengatur penduduk dari atas kebawah dan instrumen teknis menyelesaikan masalah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengamatan terlibat yang berpartisipasi dalam rutinitas masyarakat dan wawancara mendalam. Jenis Penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Etnografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di Kecamatan Pu’uwatu pada Kampung Mandiri Energi, program PKH ibu hamil telah difasilitasi dengan posyandu setiap bulannya, kebutuhan selama hamil dan melahirkan dan mendapatkan pendampingan. Prosesnya oleh setiap pendamping PKH pada setiap Kelurahan dan Kecamatan, dengan tujuan utama agar proses melahirkan tidak ada kekurangan sedikit pun dan mendapatkan uang tunai dari program PKH.
