Abstract

Semakin hari, situasi Peningkatan kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba di negara ini semakin menjadi sumber kekhawatiran, seperti yang terbukti oleh peningkatan yang signifikan dalam jumlah pengguna narkoba di kalangan remaja. Masa remaja merupakan periode yang sangat rentan terhadap penggunaan narkoba, karena narkoba dianggap sebagai hal yang menarik dan menantang. Selain itu, remaja juga mudah tergoda untuk menggunakan narkoba ketika mereka merasa frustasi atau depresi, sehingga meningkatkan risiko penyalahgunaan narkoba. Bukti dari riset yang telah dilakukan, baik dalam jurnal maupun di media sosial, menunjukkan bahwa narkoba saat ini telah menyebar ke berbagai lapisan masyarakat di Indonesia, terutama di kalangan remaja. Negara ini sekarang menghadapi keadaan darurat narkoba, yang memerlukan perhatian serius dari semua pihak dan anggota masyarakat. Undang-undang narkotika No. 35 tahun 2009 juga telah mengatur hukuman pidana bagi pengguna narkoba.Dengan adanya sosialisasi bahaya narkoba bagi para remaja yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa KKN universitas muhammadiyah ini, penulis berharap tingkat penyalahgunaan narkoba bisa berkurang, tidak hanya berhenti disitu, kesadaran dan mawas diri bagi para remaja juga akan meningkat mengingat bahaya narkoba bisa merusak masa depan para remaja penerus bangsa. Kata Kunci: Remaja, Bahaya Narkoba, Sosialisasi, Sanksi Pidana.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Sufism in achieving inner peace among the people of Bengkulu, focusing on spiritual practices such as dhikr, tafakur, and muhasabah. The novelty of this research lies in the in-depth examination of the application of Sufism in the daily lives of the Bengkulu community, which has been underexplored, and its impact on mental and spiritual well-being. A qualitative approach is used, with in-depth interviews and observations of spiritual activities in mosques, pesantren, and study groups. Data is analyzed thematically to identify patterns in the relationship between Sufism and inner peace. The findings show that Sufism practices in Bengkulu significantly contribute to reducing anxiety and stress and enhancing inner peace, particularly through dhikr and tafakur performed in community settings. The people of Bengkulu report feeling calmer and more patient after regularly practicing Sufism. However, the study also identifies barriers such as urban life pressures, time constraints, and the influence of technology that reduce the effectiveness of Sufi practices. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of Sufism in the context of urban communities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan Youtube dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Boarding School. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat, khususnya platform YouTube, yang berpotensi menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik. YouTube sebagai platform berbagi video kini tidak hanya digunakan untuk hiburan, tetapi juga dimanfaatkan dalam konteks pembelajaran oleh berbagai kalangan, mulai dari guru hingga siswa. Namun, di sekolah ini, penggunaan YouTube dalam pembelajaran belum manfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pemanfaatan YouTube dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah ini belum dimanfaatkan, Namun seluruh pihak di sekolah menunjukkan respon yang positif. Kepala sekolah mendukung penggunaan media digital Youtube selama tetap sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam dan kurikulum. Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam mengakui bahwa video dari YouTube dapat membantu menjelaskan materi secara visual dan lebih menarik bagi siswa. Siswa sendiri menyatakan antusiasme dan kesiapan untuk belajar menggunakan video dari YouTube. Kesimpulannya, YouTube memiliki potensi besar untuk dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Boarding School. Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the emerging research field examining female Muslim influencers and the construction of digital piety on social media. Using Scopus data from 2018 to 2024 and analytical tools including VOSviewer, we mapped the intellectual structure and thematic evolution of this domain through co-occurrence and co-citation analyses. The findings reveal a rapidly consolidating field organized around five key thematic clusters: platform-specific studies (TikTok, Instagram), methodological approaches (digital ethnography), and conceptual foci (visual authority, influencer culture). Co-citation analysis further identified the field's foundational pillars, integrating theories of the Islamic public sphere, ethnographic studies of Muslim femininity, and critical frameworks of digital labor. While the research demonstrates increasing scholarly coherence, our analysis identifies significant gaps, including platform-centric fragmentation and under-explored political economy dimensions. The study concludes by proposing a structured research agenda advocating for cross-platform analyses, comparative geographical studies, and critical investigations into the commodification of religious expression. This bibliometric mapping not only synthesizes the current state of knowledge but also provides a strategic roadmap for future scholarship in this dynamically evolving field at the intersection of digital media, gender studies, and contemporary Islamic practice.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and psychometrically evaluate an instrument to measure three key constructs in religious crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic: communication style, message credibility, and public trust in Islamic religious leaders (ulama). Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire from a purposive sample of 180 respondents. The instrument was designed to capture three dimensions of communication style (authoritative–directive, empathetic–collaborative, analytical–integrative), three dimensions of message credibility (expertise, trustworthiness, goodwill), and overall public trust. Item validity was examined using item–total correlations, and all items exceeded the minimum r-table threshold, indicating that each item adequately represented its intended construct. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha for each variable, and the coefficients obtained fell within the acceptable range for social science research, demonstrating satisfactory internal consistency. As such, the instrument can be considered both valid and reliable for use in subsequent empirical studies. The primary contribution of this research is methodological: it provides a preliminary, psychometrically tested measurement tool for examining faith-based crisis communication in Muslim contexts. Future research is encouraged to employ this instrument to test structural relationships among communication style, message credibility, public trust, and related behavioral outcomes.

Abstract

This study critically examines the psychometric properties of measurement instruments for key constructs in digital Islamic communication research, focusing on micro-dai phenomena. The analysis reveals fundamental methodological flaws, with Cronbach’s α (-0.072 to 0.090) and validity metrics (0.108–0.127) failing to meet acceptable thresholds. Discriminant validity assessment through Fornell-Larcker criterion demonstrated systematic measurement invalidity, while anomalous negative correlations between authenticity and donation behavior (-0.305) challenge theoretical assumptions. The findings necessitate reconceptualization of digital religious authority, authenticity, and audience engagement constructs, emphasizing context-sensitive instrumentation. This research provides crucial methodological insights for future studies in digital religion, highlighting the imperative for interdisciplinary approaches integrating communication theory, psychometrics, and digital culture studies to advance the field’s methodological rigor.

Abstract

This study quantitatively examines the effectiveness of Islamic preaching (dakwah) content on TikTok in fostering youth engagement and religious behavioral intentions. Grounded in the Heuristic-Systematic Model and Source Credibility Theory, the research investigates how message quality, preacher credibility, and content interactivity influence behavioral engagement and subsequent religious intentions. Data from 450 young Indonesian TikTok users were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results identify preacher credibility as the strongest predictor of behavioral engagement (β = 0.41, p < 0.001), followed by message quality (β = 0.32, p < 0.001) and content interactivity (β = 0.28, p < 0.001). Behavioral engagement significantly influences religious intentions (β = 0.53, p < 0.001) and acts as a significant partial mediator, translating the effects of independent variables into religious behavioral intentions. These findings underscore the pivotal role of source credibility and active audience participation in digital religious persuasion, offering practical insights for religious communicators to design effective digital preaching strategies on short-form video platforms. The study contributes to digital religion literature by validating the complementary nature of heuristic and systematic processing in religious content evaluation on social media.

Abstract

Background of Study: Students’ interest in reading the Qur’an reflects an important dimension of religious character development in higher education. However, many university students demonstrate low consistency and motivation in Qur’anic reading practices.Aims and Scope of the Paper: This study analyzes the strategies employed by the Qur’anic Enthusiast Student Community (KOMPAQ) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu in fostering students’ engagement with Qur’anic reading activities.Methods: This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 8 KOMPAQ core members and 10 active participants, participant observation in mentoring activities, and document analysis of community programs. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, to identify recurring patterns of strategy implementation.Results: The findings indicate that students’ engagement in Qur’anic reading is influenced by prior educational background and peer environment. KOMPAQ addresses this through several interconnected strategies: (1) creating a psychologically safe and inclusive learning environment; (2) strengthening motivation through peer role models and inspirational member narratives; (3) designing structured yet flexible programs such as halaqah tahsin, tahfizh, One Day One Ayah, One Day One Hadith, and routine tilawah; (4) reinforcing participation through appreciation and symbolic rewards; and (5) utilizing digital platforms and inter-organizational collaboration to expand outreach.Conclusion: These strategies form a thematic pattern of environmental support, motivational reinforcement, program accessibility, and social networking.
