Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of modern education developed by Mahmud Yunus and its influence on improving the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia. Through a library research approach, this study collects and analyzes data from various sources such as books, articles, and internet sources. The results showed that Mahmud Yunus's reformist thinking had a significant influence in the development of modern Islamic educational institutions. Concepts such as subject integration, emphasis on faith and moral values, as well as the role of educators in character building, have proven relevant and can be integrated in contemporary Islamic education curricula. This research concludes that Mahmud Yunus' approach to Islamic education offers a new perspective that can answer the challenges of modern times and technological advances, while maintaining the essential values of Islamic education.

Abstract

Tulisan ini memaparkan hasil riset tentang pengembangan instrumen penilaian kognitif berbasis Higler Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. Fokus risetnya adalah pemetaan kemampuan guru PAI SD dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian kognitif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif-deskriptif dan analisis dokumen berupa instrumen tes PAI berbentuk pilihan ganda, analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa presentase. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar paket soal objektif berbentuk Multiple Choice Item (MCI) mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti di SD terbilang sudah baik dalam sebagian besar indikator pada setiap aspeknya. Hanya saja kelemahan yang terlihat yaitu pada aspek kesesuaian item soal pada aspek bahasa kriteria pertama yang rata-ratanya hanya mencapai 75%. Disamping itu, kelemahannya ada pada pengukuran proses kognitif level penalaran C4, C5, dan C6 yang hanya ada dipaket B5 saja, dan mencapai rata-rata 3% berdasarkan analisis yang sudah dilakukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi moderasi beragama dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam di Indonesia. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah tantangan ekstrimisme dan intoleransi dalam masyarakat Islam di Indonesia, serta urgensi pendidikan moderat sebagai solusi untuk mempromosikan toleransi dan keseimbangan dalam kehidupan beragama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kajian pustaka terhadap ertikel jurnal yang relevan dengan tema implementasi moderasi beragama. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai moderasi dalam kurikulum, pelatihan bagi pendidik, dan dialog antar stake holder menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan inklusif dan harmonis

Abstract

Tasawuf pada era modern baiknya mengembalikan fitrahnya yang asli, yaitu sebagai cara mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan, menciptakan individu yang Tangguh dan unggul. Ini adalah jalan menyatukan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan betujuan tercapainya keseimbangan kehidupan rohani dan jasmani. Eksistensi tasawuf di era modern sangat penting demi membimbing manusia agar tetap merindukan Tuhannya. Kajian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tasawuf sebagai ilmu agama terkait aspek moral perilaku Islam, dan memancarkan peran tasawuf sebagai terapi dalam konteks masyarakat modern yang diakibatkan oleh individualisme dan materialisme. Sebagai pengusul metode Islami Omar Alishah percaya bisa mengatasi gangguan kejiwaan melalui tradisi tasawuf. Selain itu, kebutuhan akan panduan spiritual dalam menghadapi dampak negatif materialisme, menganggap tasawuf sebagai pelekat berpotensi besar untuk menjaga integritas personal dan memberikan landasan moral dalam industri yang berkembang. Untuk itu, kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa tasawuf memiliki relevansi sebagai terapi spiritual dan panduan moral dalam menghadapi tantangan masyarakat modern.

Abstract

The rise of moral degradation among students due to uncontrolled exposure to social media has become a critical challenge in the world of education. This study aims to identify the role of educators in instilling character education to students who experience moral degradation due to technological advances followed by the onslaught of social media. This research was conducted qualitatively using a library research approach by identifying the role, relationship, and impact of social media on the character of students. The results explain that the moral degradation that occurs in students due to the onslaught of social media can be overcome by educators by internalizing the concept of character education in Yusuf Qardhawi's thoughts, namely Rabaniyah, Insaniyah, Syumul, Al-Wasathiyah, and Al Jam'u Baina Ats Tsabat wa Al Murunnah. This research is still very relevant in overcoming moral degradation in the era of social media onslaught with the approach of Yusuf Qardhawi's character education concept.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia faces serious challenges due to the negative behavior of students, such as bullying, fighting, and rule violations. This phenomenon shows moral degradation that requires appropriate educational solutions. This research aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic education values during the Khulafaur Rashidin period as a strengthening of students' character in the modern era. The method used is descriptive qualitative through a literature study approach, by analyzing literature related to Islamic education values and their application in the current educational context. The results showed that the values of morality, justice, care, and wisdom taught by the caliphs, such as Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq, Umar bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan, and Ali bin Talib, are still very relevant to be internalized in modern character education. Active learning methods, such as discussions and social activities, can be used to teach these values. This research is expected to provide guidance for educators in shaping the character of ethical and responsible learners, as well as creating a more effective and meaningful learning environment.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of the students, which result from minimal learning participation, undermine this research. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the influence of mind mapping strategies improves the learning outcomes of the students of the Hadith subjects in the eleventh grade of the Religious Sciences major. This research was carried out in MAN 1 Pangkalpinang using mind mapping strategies. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods. The type of research used is a quasi-experiment, using a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection for this study uses 20 double-choice pre-test and post-test questions, while the data analysis techniques use the test-t with the formula paired samples test and the test-kolmogrof smirnof t-test 2 with the independent formula samples test. This study concludes that based on the calculations that have been done on the data of the test results obtained, the application of the mind mapping strategy has an influence on improving the learning results of Hadith Sciences. Proved by the test hypothesis with the test of Kolmogroph smirnaf, 2 samples with the form of independent samples of test thitat 2.827 ttable 1.681, then thitat > ttable is 2. 827 > 1.681 and the sig value α is > 0,007 < 0,05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. with a significant proportion of α 5% (0,05). So there is a significant difference after using the mind mapping strategy compared to the conventional strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concept of education in surah Al-Baqarah verse 30 towards the objectives of Islamic education in the digital era from the perspective of M Quraish Shihab. This research was conducted using a library research approach, which collects data through books, scientific articles, journals, and written sources that aim to obtain in-depth analysis related to research studies. The results showed that the concept of the Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 30 in the perspective of M. Quraish Shihab emphasizes fostering humans personally and in groups so that they are able to carry out their functions as servants and caliphs who emphasize human responsibility as representatives of Allah on earth, forming the goals of Islamic education that develops moral character, social responsibility, intellectual competence. Islamic education must integrate spiritual values with the development of science and technology to prepare students who are able to become leaders who contribute positively to society.

Abstract

The phenomenon of radicalism has become a significant issue in Indonesia, as it can disrupt the harmonious order of life in a diverse society. Radicalism not only occurs in the wider community but has also begun to penetrate the school environment. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to religious moderation and radicalism. This research is conducted through a literature review. This study will analyze related literature by identifying research gaps that need to be examined in Islamic education. The results show that Islamic Religious Education plays a crucial role in instilling values ​​based on religious moderation in the school environment. Islamic Religious Education also plays a significant role in preventing radicalism, namely by actualizing the Ministry of Religious Affairs' programs with the values ​​of religious moderation. This research contributes by providing a new perspective on the relevance of Islamic Religious Education to religious moderation and radicalism in Indonesia.
