Abstract

Research that was conducted by researchers from 2013-2022 has mostly been about teaching materials combined with local wisdom in learning in elementary and junior high schools (SMP). However, there is still certain research on students’ worksheets related to local wisdom based on the content of social science learning subjects in elementary schools. This article provides an overview of the percentage of use of student worksheets, the use of research methods, and the results or positive impacts or contributions of the research on the motivation of an educator to create or modify teaching materials based on local wisdom. Meta-analysis was carried out by searching for articles from web journals through Google Scholar and obtaining 50 articles that were saved in the research data documents. After the analysis, it was obtained that 30 articles matched the criteria. The meta-analysis that was carried out produced an overview that the most dominant percentage of students' worksheets was 27% in 2020 and the research method used was the R&D method with a percentage of 64%. And the results of the research were getting good responses from validators, teachers, and students with the average category being very good.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KUKERTA) merupakan wujud nyata dari tugas dosen dan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi yakni dalam aspek pengabdian. Melalui kegiatan ini, mahasiswa membagi pengetahuan nya kepada masyarakat desa Lubuk Agung. Salah Satu pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat desa Lubuk Agung mengenai Stunting. Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita akibat kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga anak lebih pendek untuk usianya yang terjadi pada 1000 hari pertama kehidupan (HPK). Dalam sosialisasi pencegahan stunting ini, mengunakan metode observasi, dimana terjun langsung kelapangan Bersama petugas Kesehatan untuk melihat bagaimana kondisi lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat desa lubuk agung. Stunting menjadi permasalahan karena berhubungan dengan meningkatnya risiko terjadinya kesakitan dan kematian, perkembangan otak suboptimal sehingga perkembangan motorik terlambat dan terhambatnya pertumbuhan mental. Setelah diadakan program sosialisasi ini diperoleh menambah pengetahuan kepada masyarakat desa Lubuk Agung mengenai penyebab terjadinya stunting pada anak dan juga intervensi yang dapat dilakukan dalam upaya penanganan gizi dalam mencegah stunting.

Abstract

The "Real Work Lecture" service activity organized by Riau University students has launched and carried out work programs in the new normal period. One of the work programs that have been implemented is the manufacture and distribution of healthy herbal ginger drinks to the community. The implementation of the program is due to seeing that in the past the government's decision on the use of masks has been revoked. Students considered that it would be very important to continue to carry out work programs on health support aspects in the community. The work program is also planned and implemented considering that the community in the service location is also close to access to the city center and economic center areas. This results in the assumption that the community works closely with physical contact and is likely to be a vector of disease. The results of these activities are in the form of healthy herbal ginger drink products that are distributed to the community.

Abstract

This study aims to produce good character animation video media that can be used in social studies learning in elementary schools. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The data in this study were collected in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The media feasibility assessment was obtained from the validation results by 2 validators, namely media experts and material experts, one-on-one trials, limited trials, and teacher responses. Validation from material experts got a percentage score of 98.8%. Validation from media experts got a percentage score of 85.11%. The one-on-one trial got a percentage score of 87.27%. The limited trial got a score of 89.01% and the teacher's response got a score of 86.9%. Based on the average score of each media validator, it can be categorized as very feasible to use. The media received responses with very good categories for teacher responses and student responses. Therefore, the media can be used in social studies learning in elementary schools.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media video animasi karakter yang baik dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran ips di Sekolah Dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model ADDIE . Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dalam bentuk angket dan wawancara. Penilaian kelayakan media didapatkkan dari hasil validasi oleh 2 validator yaitu ahli media dan ahli  materi, uji coba satu-satu, uji coba terbatas, serta respon guru. Validasi dari ahli materi mendapat skor persentase sebesar 98,8%. Validasi dari ahli media mendapat skor persentase 85,11%. Uji coba satu-satu mendapatkan skor persentase 87,27%. Uji coba terbatas memperoleh skor 89,01% dan respon guru mendapatkan skor 86,9%.  Berdasarkan rata-rata skor dari masing-masing validator media dapat dikartegorikan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Media mendapatkan respon dengan kartegori sangat baik untuk respon guru maupun respon siswa. Oleh karena itu media dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran tari berwawasan peduli lingkungan. Karena pada saat ini masih terdapat beberapa guru yang saat mengajar menggunakan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi, oleh karena itu mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif dan memakan banyak waktu serta tenaga untuk menjelaskan proses demi proses ketika mengajar di kelas (Achmad dan Asidigisianti, 2016). Untuk menghindari hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan media yang tepat dan dapat menggambarkan setiap proses demi proses dari mulai persiapan hingga selesai tanpa harus memakan waktu yang cukup lama dan dapat digunakan kembali serta dapat menarik daya minat siswa dalam belajar sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan ketika belajar. Oleh sebab itu seorang guru diminta untuk dapat menciptakan sebuah media pembelajaran, dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran akan mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi, sehingga media pembelajaran dapat digunakan sebagai media yang menggabungkan suara dengan gambar sehingga akan lebih menarik perhatian ketika proses pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran akan mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi, sehingga media pembelajaran dapat digunakan sebagai media yang menggabungkan suara dengan gambar sehingga akan lebih menarik perhatian ketika proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran juga memiliki kelebihan yang salah satunya adalah dapat dilihat secara berulang-ulang apabila membutuhkannya. dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 78,98% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This paper describes the instrument validity for digital learning resources for coastal areas based digital in the elementary school by using Aiken's V analysis. The purpose of the research is to develop an instrument that can be seen as the validity for every instrument item to obtain information about the need for digital-based coastal area disaster learning resources in elementary schools. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research method. Instrument design and validation were carried out in three stages; (a) literature review, (b) instrument draft design, and (c) qualitative and quantitative rater review of the instrument. Content validity is validated using the V Aikens coefficient. The content validity coefficient is measured by 8 raters based on the assessment results. It is assessed based on certain scales, which consisted of strongly agree (scale 4), agree (scale 3), disagree (scale 2), and strongly disagree (scale 1). The research results indicate that aspect 1, with four instrument items, is in the high category. For aspect 2, three instruments are in the high category. Aspect 3 with three instruments is in the moderate category. For aspect 4, two instruments are in the moderate category. Aspect 5 with three instruments is in the moderate category. In aspect 5, there are two high-category instrument items and three medium-category instrument items. It is concluded that out of the 22 items of needs analysis, in general, it was valid. Nevertheless, several instrument items needed to be reviewed, namely on the editorial aspect of the statement.

Abstract

The virus is currently spreading around the world and has been labeled as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Every activity is conducted at home, which is called Work From Home (WFH). The transition in the educational system from direct to online learning does certainly influence people’s attitudes, which are the indicator of successful learning. It includes knowledge, comprehension, attitudes, and so on. Based on the description, it was conducted the research entitled "Analysis of Attitudes of PGSD FKIP UNRI Students in Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic". Based on the background of the problem, the formulation of the research problem was "how are the attitudes of PGSD FKIP UNRI students in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic?". The type of research used a survey method with a questionnaire as the data collection tool by using a quantitative approach descriptively, which is written words. The research was conducted at PGSD FKIP of Universitas Riau in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The population and sample involved 119 students in the year 2019 of PGSD FKIP UNRI. According to the research results, the average score was 67.17 with a good category. At the first indicator, cognitive indicates 74.8 in the good category. At the second indicator, affective implies 67.3 with the good category. At the third indicator, the conative shows 59.42 in the good enough category.

Abstract

The learning process in the classroom is one of the determining factors for the success of education in producing quality human beings, with character, having extensive knowledge, and being able to compete. Books are facilities that must exist in education and play an important role in the life of modern society, including the field of education as teaching materials. One form of teaching materials in classroom learning is student worksheets (LKPD). The purpose of this study was to describe the results of LKPD development that had reached the product design development stage which had been validated twice by experts. This study uses the method of development or Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D model. The results of the second validation by experts obtained an assessment of draft-1 with an average value of 61.8% with an invalid category, so that improvements were made according to comments from reviewers by producing draft-2 with an average of 84.81% with a very valid category. The 7 aspects of the assessment so that it produces LKPD products for social studies learning based on local wisdom of the Kampar community which are worthy of being used for testing teacher and student responses and can be used in the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of LKPD (Learner Worksheet) based on local wisdom. Indonesian local character is important to be taught to students including through teaching materials in the form of LKPD based on local wisdom that can be used as a reference in the learning process. LKPD is one of the teaching materials in which there are all the basic activities carried out by students which aim to maximise understanding and formation of basic abilities in accordance with the indicators of competency achievement. The research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the research design of the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model research design. This research was conducted at SDN 189 Pekanbaru. The research subjects were 20 fourth grade students. This research uses quantitative data analysis. Descriptive statistical data collection techniques were carried out as well as observation, interviews and evaluation tests at the end of the cycle. The results of cycle I to cycle II have increased significantly with a passing percentage of 75%, and 35% of students whose scores have not met the KKM standard, it can be seen that the learning outcomes of students in social studies learning through the application of local wisdom-based LKPD learning media have increased. The average of students increased from the initial reflection of 62.25 with the highest score of 80 and the lowest score of 35 to 74.00, with the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 40 in cycle I although it was not in accordance with the KKM that had been determined when cycle II experienced an increase of 80.00 with the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 55.

Abstract

Local wisdom is part of the wealth that is owned by the Indonesian people in every region, including the Kampar Regency. Local wisdom must be preserved through education by integrating Kampar local wisdom with social studies learning that uses teaching materials in the form of students worksheet (LKPD) in delivering material in learning for fourth-grade students of elementary schoolin Riau. This study aims to produce LKPD products based on the local wisdom of the Kampar community in social studies learning for grade IV elementary schools that are valid, appropriate, and effective. This research uses the type of RD research with a 4D development model, which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the results of local wisdom-based research, the developed LKPD shows valid, proper and effective LKPD with very valid media expert validation results of 84.64%, very valid material experts with a validation value of 82.29%, and 87 linguists. 5% with very valid category. It was said to be feasible based on the results of the teacher's response of 81.59% in the very feasible category, the response of 2 students in the one to one stage was 85.76% in the feasible category, and the response of 10 students in the small group test stage was 91.69% in the very feasible category. This LKPD is effective based on the results of the pretest-posttest which is measured by the N-Gain test obtaining a value of 0.6 in the medium category. This shows that the LKPD products based on the local wisdom of the Kampar people are valid, feasible and effective.
