Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana penggunaan Google Sites dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam membentuk karakter mandiri siswa di tingkat SMP. Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki peranan yang sangat krusial dalam membangun karakter bangsa, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Google Sites dipilih sebagai platform untuk memperkenalkan konsep pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, dengan harapan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif, kreatif, dan mandiri. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang mengandalkan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi dari kegiatan pembelajaran. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Google Sites dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, memperkuat semangat belajar mereka, dan mendukung perkembangan karakter mandiri. Peningkatan terlihat pada kemampuan berkarya siswa, yang lebih aktif dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas berbasis teknologi. Meskipun hasil yang diperoleh cukup positif, penelitian ini juga mencatat adanya tantangan, seperti rendahnya tingkat literasi digital di kalangan sebagian siswa dan terbatasnya akses internet, yang menghambat optimalisasi penggunaan Google Sites . Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya peningkatan pelatihan teknologi bagi guru dan siswa serta penyediaan akses internet yang lebih baik untuk memaksimalkan potensi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of integrating Google Sites in Pancasila Education as a tool to foster the development of students' independent character in junior high schools. Pancasila education holds a crucial role in shaping the national character of Indonesia, and in an effort to enhance the quality of learning, digital tools like Google Sites can provide an interactive and engaging learning environment. The study utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach, gathering data through direct observations, interviews with teachers and students, and the review of student assignments. The findings indicate that incorporating Google Sites into the learning process significantly increases student participation, motivation, and their ability to work independently. Moreover, students' creativity improved, as they became more proactive in completing technology-assisted tasks. However, the study also highlights challenges such as digital literacy gaps and limited internet connectivity, which hinder the full utilization of Google Sites in the learning process. The research underscores the need for teacher and student training, as well as improved internet infrastructure, to optimize the potential of technology-enhanced education.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental aspect of shaping students’ personalities from an early age, particularly at the elementary school level. This study aims to explore the relevance and effectiveness of implementing the joyfull learning method integrated with the sabaqu for muslim kids media in strengthening students’ character values such as self-confidence, cooperation, discipline, and independence. Joyfull learning emphasizes happiness, active engagement, and a joyful classroom atmosphere as the core of the learning process, while sabaqu media is designed to internalize Islamic character values through contextual and meaningful educational games. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected library research. The findings reveal that the synergy between joyfull learning and sabaqu media creates a learning process that is not only enjoyable but also effective in holistically developing students’ character. These results offer valuable implications for teachers, curriculum developers, and educational institutions to adopt learning models that align academic, moral, and emotional aspects of students.

Abstract

The use of appropriate and engaging learning media will certainly motivate students in the learning process, both in the classroom and at home. To create an interesting, interactive, and enjoyable science learning experience, teachers, as learning facilitators, need to seek solutions. This way, students are not solely reliant on classroom learning with textbooks and worksheets as their only learning resources. This research aims to enhance students' independence and learning outcomes through the development of interactive science learning media assisted by the Nearpod application. Nearpod offers features that align with the demands of learning, from material presentation to interactive learning evaluations, thereby expected to foster students' independent learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), a type of research and development method where the product development model or procedure follows the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model is one of the instructional design system models that outlines basic stages of a simple and easy-to-learn learning system design, depicting a systematic approach. As the name suggests, the ADDIE model consists of five main phases: (A)nalysis, (D)esign, (D)evelopment, (I)mplementation, and (E)valuation. The findings of this study indicate that the development of Nearpod-assisted science learning media is effective in improving students' independence and learning outcomes. It is also deemed effective in enhancing students' understanding of the material "Earth's Structure and Its Development." Students appeared more active in completing assignments with the help of the Nearpod platform. Although the results of the learning media development were quite positive, this study also identified challenges. Specifically, teachers should re-explain the material and questions within Nearpod to help students better understand and grasp an overview of the material before learning.

Abstract

Fenomena dekadensi moral di kalangan Generasi Z, yang dipicu oleh perkembangan teknologi dan globalisasi nilai, telah menonjol dalam bentuk penurunan empati, meningkatnya individualisme, lemahnya etika komunikasi, serta kekerasan verbal dan fisik. Generasi Z, yang tumbuh di era digital, sangat terpapar oleh teknologi dan media sosial, yang sering kali menyebabkan pergeseran nilai moral dan perilaku menyimpang. Keluarga dan masyarakat berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan nilai dalam keluarga dan masyarakat sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi dekadensi moral pada Generasi Z. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber yang membahas pendidikan karakter, peran keluarga, fungsi sosial masyarakat, dan karakteristik Generasi Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keluarga berperan sebagai unit pendidikan nilai pertama melalui pola asuh dan keteladanan moral orang tua, sementara masyarakat menguatkan nilai-nilai melalui norma sosial, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan lembaga sosial. Sinergi antara keluarga dan masyarakat sangat penting dalam merumuskan strategi pendidikan nilai yang adaptif. The phenomenon of moral decadence among Generation Z, driven by technological advancements and the globalization of values, has manifested in the decline of empathy, increased individualism, weakened communication ethics, and both verbal and physical violence. Generation Z, growing up in the digital age, is highly exposed to technology and social media, often leading to shifts in moral values and deviant behaviors. Family and society play a crucial role in shaping an individual's character and morals. This study aims to examine the role of value education in the family and society as a strategy to address moral decadence among Generation Z. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this research analyzes various sources discussing character education, the role of family, the social functions of society, and the characteristics of Generation Z. The findings indicate that the family serves as the primary unit for value education through parenting patterns and moral exemplification by parents, while society strengthens values through social norms, peer influence, and social institutions. The synergy between family and society is crucial in formulating adaptive value education strategies.

Abstract

Science education in elementary school is essential for developing students' critical thinking and understanding of natural processes. This study aims to develop and evaluate a differentiated science learning module assisted by AI Canva on the human digestive system to improve fifth-grade students' learning outcomes in Tegal Regency. Using the ADDIE development model, this Research and Development (RD) study collected data through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample consisted of two fifth-grade classes: a control group and an experimental group. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, t-tests, and feasibility assessments. The results show that the module is highly feasible, with material validation at 86.53% and media validation at 94.13%. Student learning outcomes in the experimental class increased from 81.66% (pre-test) to 100% (post-test), indicating the module's significant effectiveness. In conclusion, the AI Canva-assisted differentiated module is both feasible and effective in enhancing students’ understanding of the human digestive system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dalam pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis Artificial Intelligence Canva dengan pendekatan diferensiasi untuk materi sistem pencernaan manusia di SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Bongkok 01 dan Bongkok 02, melibatkan siswa kelas V yang sedang mempelajari materi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, angket, dan wawancara dengan guru serta siswa, serta membagi sampel menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri dari 27 siswa menggunakan modul berbasis teknologi dengan pendekatan diferensiasi, dan kelompok kontrol yang terdiri dari 22 siswa. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran masih bersifat konvensional, dengan lebih banyak menggunakan ceramah dan buku teks, serta belum memanfaatkan media visual dan digital secara maksimal. Berdasarkan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang mengutamakan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan diferensiasi, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa diperlukan pengembangan modul yang mampu memenuhi berbagai gaya belajar siswa. Selain itu, analisis sarana dan prasarana mengindikasikan perlunya perangkat digital, proyektor, dan koneksi internet yang stabil untuk mendukung pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dengan pendekatan diferensiasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan penelitian yang membahas penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, khususnya Canva, dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas 5 SD, meskipun fenomena ini berpotensi memberikan dampak besar terhadap tingkat keterlibatan siswa dan pencapaian hasil belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva dalam rangka meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas 5 SD. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), dengan sampel yang terdiri dari 30 siswa dan 5 guru yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru, angket yang diberikan kepada siswa, dan observasi pembelajaran, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media berbasis Canva dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, yang dibuktikan dengan tanggapan positif dari siswa dan guru terkait kemampuan platform ini dalam menyajikan materi secara visual dan interaktif. Temuan ini mendukung tujuan penelitian dan memperkuat teori pembelajaran interaktif yang menyatakan bahwa media yang menarik dapat memperbaiki keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Kesimpulan utama penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva sangat penting dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini meliputi kontribusi teoretis, seperti penambahan referensi mengenai media pembelajaran interaktif, serta saran praktis untuk guru agar dapat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS di kelas. Penelitian ini juga membuka kemungkinan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut terkait pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada mata pelajaran lain.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of discipline value internalization in religious activities of students at MI Assalafiyah, Tegal City, to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors, and to analyze its impact on students’ character formation. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as documentation of religious activities. The findings reveal that the internalization of discipline values is carried out through structured religious practices such as shalat dhuha, tadarus (Qur’an recitation), sholawatan, and the study of the Aqidatul Awwam text. Discipline is instilled through habituation, teacher role modeling, assigning responsibilities to students, and parental support. The main supporting factors include the consistency of activity schedules, teachers’ exemplary roles, and active family involvement. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of differences in students’ maturity levels, fatigue from routines, and the suboptimal internal awareness of discipline among students. The implementation has shown positive impacts on students’ character formation, particularly in time discipline, responsibility, independence, courtesy, and behavioral consistency both at school and at home. This study highlights that religious activities integrated into school life can serve as an effective medium for instilling character values, especially discipline, in a holistic and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the transformational leadership model of school principals on improving pedagogic competence in curriculum development and the use of information technology in State Vocational School teachers throughout Demak Regency. Transformational leadership is a leadership approach that focuses on empowering and inspiring members to achieve common goals through positive change in the organization. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey research design. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 State Vocational School teachers in Demak Regency, which was analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the study show that the transformational leadership model of school principals has a positive and significant influence on improving teachers' pedagogic competence, especially in curriculum development and the use of information technology. These findings show the importance of the role of school principals in creating an environment that supports teacher professionalism, which in turn can improve the quality of learning in vocational schools. This research is expected to contribute to education policy, especially in the development of effective school leadership to improve the quality of teaching at the vocational level.
