Abstract

Family nurture is one of parents’ attempts to guide and lead their children physically and mentally from born to adulthood. The family has a significant role in preparing individuals in the early stages of development of their members. Family members are expected to have an active role in the community where they live. Values, norms, and practices embedded in primary socialization are influenced by family background involving ethnicity, religion, culture, and social strata. This causes children to acquire character values slowly and below the parents’ expectations. This study aimed at obtaining information on children character values inculcation in Bugis family nurture as it has been stated in Law number 20 Year 2003. This study indicated that there was character values inculcation to children in Bugis family nurture. One of the parents’ roles was to inculcate noble values to children from birth to adulthood. To realize this mission, it was crucial to strengthen the character values and the Bugis family nurture as well as to cooperate with the people within the community, messages in the Bugis community to children occur through the process of socialization and enculturation. Socialization through a verbal process, namely through advice, advice, advice and also actions in the form of parents giving examples of what is good and not good for children, while the enculturation process occurs through habituation by children to the values learned from parents and to their children. surrounding environment.

Abstract

Penggunaan gawai semakin diadopsi dan digunakan oleh anak sejak dini sehingga orang tua memainkan peranan penting dalam membentuk penggunaan gawai yang aman dan sehat agar terhindar dampak negatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendampingan orang tua dalam membatasi, mengatur, dan mengelola penggunaan gawai pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis grounded theory melalui open coding, focus coding, axial coding, dan theoretical coding. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah tiga orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan usia 2- 5 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memberikan pendampingan dengan membatasi, mengatur, dan mengelola penggunaan gawai. Adapun batasan yang diberikan oleh orang tua kepada anaknya dalam penggunaan gawai yaitu, batasan waktu, batasan aplikasi, batasan jarak, batasan konten, dan batasan perangkat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran bagi orang tua mengenai batasan-batasan yang dapat digunakan untuk membentuk penggunana gawai yang aman, nyaman, dan sehat bagi anak.

Abstract

This research is motivated by parents' concerns about the dangers posed by gadgets, parental co-viewing has been suggested as a way to prevent negative harm from gadgets. The purpose of this study was to determine parental co-viewing and involvement in the use of gadgets in reducing the dangers caused by gadgets. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study research design on three parents who have children aged 2-5 years. The data collection technique uses interviews and field notes which are then processed using grounded theory analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that parents use parental co-viewing because through this parental mediation parents will know and supervise children's digital activities so that they can reduce the dangers of gadgets. In addition, this parental co-viewing also increases the closeness of parents with their children. Activities carried out by parents with their children are watching educational videos on the YouTube application and playing game on educational game applications. Parental Co-viewing can be a guide for parents to help early childhood to avoid the dangers posed by the device because parents can organize and know the content that will be accessed by their children.

Abstract

Banyak warga masyarakat kurang menyadari betapa pentingnya upaya mencegah atau menjaga tubuh agar tidak terkena penyakit atau tidak terjadi penurunan kebugaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memotivasi masyarakat agar semangat dan rutin berolahraga. Beberapa langkah yang diterapkan pada kegiatan ini, antara lain: pengukuran tekanan darah, pengukuran denyut nadi, pengukuran respirasi, pengukuran dan penghitungan indeks massa tubuh, dan program latihan yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Kegiatan layanan dikuti oleh kurang lebih 35 orang yang terdiri atas anggota masyarakat di Kelurahan Pasirlayung, Kota Bandung, dan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan di lapangan Pasirlayung, setiap peserta diberikan kartu yang dapat digunakan untuk pencatatan pengukuran, sehingga dapat menjadi dasar evaluasi terhadap pengingkatan kualitas kebugaran jasmani masing-masing peserta. Secara umum kegiatan layanan olahraga kebugaran dan implementasi penerapan kartu sehat dan bugar berjalan dengan baik dan lancar.

Abstract

Tujuan study menginvestigasi pengaruh program pembelajaran renang selama 8 minggu terhadap peningkatan kemampuan dasar renang gaya bebas mahasiswa ilmu keolahragaan tingkat pemula. Pengukuran kemampuan dasar renang mencakup; kemampuan menyelam, mengapung, meluncur, gerakan kaki, gerakan lengan, koordinasi gerakan kaki dan lengan, mengambil nafas, dan kemampuan renang gaya bebas lengkap. Subjek penelitian 30 orang (18 pria dan 12 wanita), rentang usia 19 – 21 tahun. Seluruh kemampuan dasar renang hasil pra-postes menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan p =0.000.01. Artinya program pembelajaran renang gaya bebas selama 8 minggu, memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan dasar renang gaya bebas mahasiswa untuk pemula.AbstractThe aim of the study was to investigate the effect of an 8-week swimming learning program on the improvement of the basic freestyle swimming abilities of entry-level sports science students. Measurement of basic swimming skills includes; ability to dive, float, glide, leg movements, arm movements, coordinate leg and arm movements, take breaths, and complete freestyle swimming. The research subjects were 30 people (18 men and 12 women), age range 19-21 years. All abilities Baseline swimming pre-post test results showed a significant difference p = 0.00 0.01 This means that the learning program of freestyle swimming for 8 weeks, has a significant effect on the improvement of students' basic freestyle swimming skills for beginners.

Abstract

Sports achievement is influenced by many factors, such as physical condition, technique, tactics, and psychology. An athlete's Intellectual Ability/intelligence quotient (IQ) influences playing performance in a match. The research aims to determine the level of relationship between IQ and performance ability in playing handball. This research uses a quantitative approach using correlative descriptive methods. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique which resulted in 40 subjects with an age range of 16-18 years with std ± 7.178. Using two research instruments, namely collecting data for intellectual intelligence results in collaboration with psychological practitioners and using Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) analysis for handball games. Data analysis was processed using SPSS version 26 software, using the MANOVA method. Multivariate research results (p0.05) show that each component of the handball game includes decision-making (0.9280.05), skill execution (0.0820.05), support (0.8920.05), guard (0.327 0.05), and game performance (0.2070.05). Therefore, there is no significant relationship between intellectual intelligence and playing handball, but there is a positive average result of the highest relationship between intellectual intelligence and execution skills. From the findings, the game of handball must improve the execution skill/technical skill component.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari teknik jump smash pada akurasi serta perubahan parameter kinematika gerakan dalam permainan bola voli menggunakan analisis dua dimensi. Metode yang diterapkan delam penelitian ini merupakan analisis video melalui software Kinovea. Teknik jump smash dievaluasi dalam dua variasi, yaitu dengan dan tanpa awalan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada tiga variabel dari sembilan parameter kinematika yang dianalisis, terutama pada fase rotasi bahu maksimal. Tiga variabel tersebut adalah tinggi loncatan, rotasi eksternal bahu, dan kemiringan tubuh ke belakang. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa teknik jump smash dengan awalan memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan teknik jump smash tanpa awalan. Pada aspek akurasi, data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata akurasi jump smash dengan teknik tanpa awalan adalah 3,65, dengan nilai maksimal 5, nilai minimal 1, dan presentase total 199,8. Sementara itu, untuk akurasi jump smash dengan teknik awalan, rata-ratanya adalah 3,06, dengan nilai maksimal 5, nilai minimal 1, dan presentase total 199,9. Dalam kesimpulannya, hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa teknik jump smash dengan awalan memiliki dampak yang lebih signifikan terhadap akurasi dan perubahan parameter kinematika gerakan pada pemain bola voli dalam Klub Dwiba, jika dibandingkan dengan teknik jump smash tanpa awalan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kepuasan orang tua murid TK di Kota Bandung Provinsi Jawa Barat yang terakreditasi A, B, dan C tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 ditinjau dari profil lulusan dan kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Adapun dari hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa (1) profil lulusan TK Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yaitu 80,10% berada pada kategori tinggi, 19,90% berada pada kategori sedang dan 0% berada pada kategori rendah, (2) kinerja guru TK Kota Bandung 99,74% berada pada kategori tinggi, 0,26% berada pada kategori sedang, dan 0% berada pada kategori rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective microteaching laboratory model in preparing superior prospective teachers. This study was conducted through a series of stages, including needs analysis, model design, implementation, evaluation, and refinement. Needs analysis was conducted to understand the needs and expectations of microteaching course lecturers and prospective teachers regarding the microteaching practice experience. The design of the microteaching laboratory model involved the development of infrastructure, curriculum, guidelines, and supporting implementation procedures. The implementation of the model was carried out by involving course lecturers and prospective teachers in a structured microteaching practice implementation session. Evaluation was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the model based on predetermined criteria. Refinement was carried out to improve and enhance the model based on evaluation findings and to prepare prospective teachers well through structured simulation, reflection, and feedback experiences. The implication of this study is the importance of developing a learning model that is in accordance with the needs of prospective teachers to produce superior graduates in the education profession. The results of the study indicate that the development of a microteaching laboratory can improve the teaching skills of prospective teachers through simulation, reflection, and feedback provided in an environment that supports learning. The implication of this study is the importance of developing learning facilities and infrastructure that are in accordance with the needs of prospective teachers in developing their teaching skills.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the underdevelopment of children's naturalistic intelligence, especially regarding their sense of belonging and affection and liking to care for animals and plants in the Al Khoiriyah Play Group, West Bandung Regency. One of the reasons for this is that the application of learning methods is not appropriate. This research aims to increase children's naturalist intelligence by applying the project method. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of the planning (plan), implementation (act), observation (observe), and reflection (reflect) stages. The research was carried out over 2 cycles, with the research subjects being group B children in the Al Khoiriyah Playgroup, West Bandung Regency, totaling 12 children, 7 girls and 5 boys. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentary studies, while data analysis techniques use descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The research results show that the teacher has implemented the project method well from the preparation, implementation, and assessment stages. As for the development of children's naturalist intelligence, applying the project method can optimally improve children's naturalist intelligence. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum berkembangnya kecerdasan naturalis anak khususnya terkait rasa memiliki dan kasih sayang serta suka memelihara binatang dan tumbuhan di Kelompok Bermain Al Khoiriyah Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hal tersebut salah satunya disebabkan penerapan metode pembelajaran yang belum tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan naturalis anak melalui penerapan metode proyek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan (plan), pelaksanaan tindakan (act), observasi (observe) dan refleksi (reflect). Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 2 siklus dengan subjek penelitian anak kelompok B di Kelompok Bermain Al Khoiriyah Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang berjumlah 12 anak yakni 7 anak perempuan dan 5 anak laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan studi dokumenter, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah menerapkan metode proyek dengan baik dari mulai tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, sampai pada tahap penilaian. Adapun dalam hal perkembangan kecerdasan naturalis anak, penerapan metode proyek dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan naturalis anak secara optimal.Kata Kunci: anak usia dini; kecerdasan naturalis; metode proyek
