Abstract

Manajemen pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia, khususnya guru, sebagai ujung tombak keberhasilan pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana peran manajemen pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di era Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan yang efektif berkontribusi pada peningkatan kompetensi profesional, pedagogik, sosial, dan kepribadian guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, supervisi akademik, dan budaya sekolah yang kolaboratif. (1) merdeka belajar meliputi empat pilar kebijakan (2) makna merdeka belajar meliputi merdeka berpikir, merdeka berinovasi, belajar mandiri dan kreatif, merdeka kebahagiaan; (3) Pemahaman makna merdeka belajar dan peran guru dalam merdeka belajar membantu guru dan siswa untuk bebas berpikir, lebih inovatif dan kreatif dalam pembelajaran. Dengan penerapan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yang baik, guru lebih mampu beradaptasi terhadap perubahan kurikulum dan kebutuhan peserta didik masa kini.

Abstract

The concept of a child-friendly school based on Islamic boarding schools is an integration of character education and religious values ​​of Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to analyze the concept and implementation of a child-friendly school based on Islamic boarding schools. The approach to this research is qualitative while the design is a case study. The location of the research is at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Blokagung Banyuwangi. Research is the key instrument of the research. The subjects of the research are the head of education, principal, vice principal, teachers, and students. Determination of informants using purposive and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques are participant observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Data analysis using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana theory, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing uses credibility, dependability, and confirmability tests. Data validity is checked continuously, triangulation, member checking, peer discussion, and reference checking. The research findings are the implementation of child-friendly schools based on Islamic boarding schools through the formulation of policies through the head of education and teaching, principal, and vice principal, provision of facilities and infrastructure, educators and education personnel who understand and are certified and trained in children's rights, involvement of students to actively participate in the development of talents and interests, involvement of parents, alumni and the community, and learning with a fun, active, integrated concept known as recreational learning.

Abstract

Education financing is a key factor in determining the quality of education services, but SMPN 3 Siliragung Banyuwangi faces various challenges such as limited operational budget, less than optimal utilization of BOS Funds, and limited financial management. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in education financing and explore solutions to improve financial management to support the quality of education. The results of the study indicate that budget limitations force schools to prioritize urgent needs, while BOS Funds are more focused on improving facilities than developing learning. The strategic role of the Principal in financial planning and management is quite significant, although it still faces obstacles such as limited human resources and supervision. In conclusion, although the challenges of education financing are quite large, there are opportunities to improve the effectiveness of financial management through careful planning, strict supervision, and collaboration with external parties, so that they can optimize existing funds and support sustainable improvements in the quality of education

Abstract

Clinical supervision is an effort by madrasah heads to develop teachers to become more professional in teaching. Implementation of clinical supervision focuses on improving teacher weaknesses in learning This research aims to describe clinical supervision through planning, classroom observation, and evaluation and analysis in the professional development of teachers at MA Amanatulloh at the Amanatulloh Banyuwangi Islamic Boarding School. This research approach is qualitative with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects were the school principal as supervisor, teachers and students. Data analysis through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data through credibility tests and confirmability tests. To ensure whether the data is valid or not through data source triangulation, method triangulation, and member check. The results of the research are (1) madrasa head planning; stimulus through meetings to share perceptions of clinical supervision goals, problem identification, supervision implementation schedule contracts, instruments, implementation concepts, and teacher problem focus. (2) Class observation; The supervisor and teacher enter the classroom together to make observations regarding the teacher's teaching skills, the teacher's interaction with students, and the feedback from the students themselves. (3) Evaluation and analysis; the process of evaluating and analyzing the results which are used as benchmarks for follow-up activities to improve teachers through discussion and analysis. Supervisors direct teachers to take part in training and be actively involved in MGMP forums to strengthen knowledge and benchmark learning to make it more varied.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of archives in improving the quality of administrative services at SMP Negeri 3 Siliragung Banyuwangi. This research approach is qualitative with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques include structured interviews, observation and documentation. Miles and Huberman model data analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that: (1) Planning; At this stage, planning is prepared at the end of every even semester around June for a period of two weeks through a formal meeting attended by the school principal, head of administration and administrative staff. Apart from that, also through collaboration with administrative parties. (2) Implementation; At this stage, archiving is carried out by dividing tasks according to function and responsibility, separating incoming and outgoing letters, recording all archives in the letter agenda book, assigning codes and letter numbers according to specifications. (3) Evaluation; evaluation and analysis activities through formal meetings attended by school principals, heads of administration and administrative staff regarding a series of results of archival implementation which will later be used as benchmarks for follow-up activities on improvements to archives management in increasing the quality of administrative services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1). to find out the implementation of the K-13 curriculum at SMK Darussalam Banyuwangi, 2) to find out the quality of education at SMK Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi; 3). to determine the effect of the implementation of the curriculum (K-13) on the quality of education in SMK Darussalam, Banyuwangi Blockagung. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using observations, questionnaires, and documentation for data collection techniques while the analysis uses simple linear regression. The population of this research is the teaching staff and educational staff of SMK Darussalam with 71 respondents as the actual sample. After analyzing that the results were found that the implementation of Curriculum K-13 (X) is very influential on the Education Quality of SMK Darussalam as evidenced by the results of data analysis of 60.2% while the remaining 39.8% by other variables.

Abstract

Implementasi projek penguatan profil pelajar pencasila (P5) yang merupakan program dari Kurikulum Merdeka yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengembangan proyek pembelajaran Pancasila untuk menghasilkan siswa yang berkarakter dan berbakat juga peserta didik dapat mengeksplorasi kegiatan pembelajaran agar tidak monoton dan membuat jenuh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mendeskripsikan penerapan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SMA Roudlatussalam. 2) mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam penerapan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SMA Roudlatussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dengan mengkonfirmasi kepada kepala sekolah terkait kesesuaian hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kepala Sekolah berperan penting dalam penerapan P5 kepala sekolah sebagai pembentuk tim pelaksanaan proyek, dan menjadi pengawas dalam pelaksanaan P5, (2) Penerapan P5 di SMA Roudlatussalam Glenmore dalam pelaksanaannya mengacu pada proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan P5. Kegiatan meliputi penentuan tema, modul dan alokasi waktu yang akan digunakan.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to examine the tahfidz (memorization) program of the Qur'an at MTs. Al Furqon Siliragung Banyuwangi which implements management functions. The implementation of management functions into the Qur'an memorization curriculum is a transformation of the madrasah in developing its education. This study uses a qualitative approach based on a case study design. The research informants include the head of the madrasah, the deputy for curriculum, and the homeroom teacher. Data collection through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana is used in data analysis through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Test the validity of the data with reliability, confirmability, and credibility. Furthermore, the researcher checks the adequacy of references, member checking, triangulation, peer discussion, and continuous monitoring in the accuracy of the data. Based on the research results, there are three steps that can be taken to plan and implement a successful Al-Qur'an memorization program, namely: 1) setting goals through discussions at regular meetings, determining what materials are needed, and identifying educator needs. 2) building an organizational structure that pays attention to the educator's field of expertise. 3) implementing the program through a learning process that follows a system agreed upon by the management and educators, using innovative strategies to improve memorization methods, namely Talqin and Talaqqi, 4). Pengawasan on through the use of direct observation of learning activities, monitoring memorization progress, and frequent assessment of the process and results.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Islamic education based on Islamic boarding schools in shaping the religious character of students at MA NU TBS Kudus. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through interviews with eight purposively selected informants, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the integration of formal curriculum and pesantren-based religious practices—such as yellow book study, congregational prayers, dhikr, and daily wirid—significantly contributes to students' religious character development. The presence of kiai and teachers as daily role models reinforces students' internalization of Islamic values. Additionally, structured worship routines enhance students' discipline, persistence, and commitment to religious life. Supported by Thomas Lickona’s character education theory and B.F. Skinner’s reinforcement theory, the study concludes that the MA NU TBS Kudus model effectively combines cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects of religious character education. This integrated approach presents a holistic and replicable framework for other Islamic educational institutions seeking to strengthen students’ moral and spiritual development.
