Abstract

This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on organizational culture and employee performance, with a focus on the mediating roles of job satisfaction and motivation. Transformational leadership is recognized for its ability to inspire and motivate employees towards achieving organizational goals through visionary guidance and individualized consideration. The study employs a qualitative literature review methodology to synthesize existing research and theoretical frameworks related to transformational leadership, organizational culture, job satisfaction, motivation, and employee performance. The primary objective of this research is to explore how transformational leadership influences organizational culture and subsequently impacts employee performance. The study examines the mechanisms through which transformational leaders shape organizational culture by promoting values of innovation, collaboration, and employee development. It also investigates how job satisfaction and motivation mediate the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational culture, and employee performance. Findings from the literature review reveal that transformational leadership fosters a positive organizational culture characterized by high levels of trust, empowerment, and engagement among employees. This conducive culture, in turn, enhances job satisfaction and motivation levels, thereby boosting overall employee performance. The mediating effects of job satisfaction and motivation highlight their critical roles in translating leadership behaviors into tangible outcomes at both individual and organizational levels. Implications for practice emphasize the importance of cultivating transformational leadership qualities within organizational leaders to foster a supportive culture that enhances employee performance. Strategies for promoting job satisfaction and motivation are recommended to leverage the full potential of transformational leadership in driving organizational success. Future research directions include exploring contextual factors that influence the effectiveness of transformational leadership across diverse organizational settings and sectors.

Abstract

The Influence of Influencer Popularity, Social Media Engagement, and Customer Trust on Purchase Decisions for Skintific Skincare Products Among Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the impact of Influencer Popularity, Social Media Engagement, and Customer Trust on the Purchase Decision of Skintific skincare products among Generation Z consumers. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, data were collected from 190 respondents, with 162 valid responses analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that Influencer Popularity positively and significantly impacts Social Media Engagement (coefficient = 0.755; p = 0.000) and Customer Trust (coefficient = 0.797; p = 0.000). However, its direct effect on Purchase Decision is insignificant (coefficient = -0.006; p = 0.962). In contrast, Customer Trust positively and significantly influences Purchase Decision (coefficient = 0.550; p = 0.000), as does Social Media Engagement (coefficient = 0.387; p = 0.001). Mediation testing reveals that Influencer Popularity indirectly influences Purchase Decision through Customer Trust (coefficient = 0.438; p = 0.000) and Social Media Engagement (coefficient = 0.292; p = 0.000). The R-Square values indicate a strong model fit, with: Purchase Decision (R² = 0.798), Customer Trust (R² = 0.635), and Social Media Engagement (R² = 0.570). These findings confirm that influencer popularity alone is insufficient to drive purchase decisions without the presence of customer trust and social media engagement. Therefore, Skintific's marketing strategy should focus on strengthening Customer Trust and enhancing Social Media Engagement to influence consumer purchase decisions effectively.

The data were assessed using structural equation modeling with partial least squares (SEM-PLS). and determine how connected the independent and dependent variables were in the research. Multiple linear analyses were employed in Data analysis for testing hypotheses in this study as well as validity and reliability assessments of the questionnaire. The study's conclusions showed that transformational leadership had no effect on the performance of Jepara Bawaslu personnel. The study's findings provide more evidence of the positive effects transformational leadership has on cultures that value information sharing.
