Abstract

Purpose of the study: The rapid advancement of technology has influenced village communities, leading to a gradual loss of identity and neglect of local culture, customs, and wisdom, as foreign cultures become more favored. This study aims to explore the procession and religious values embedded in the cow birthday tradition in Tegalagung Village, Semanding District, Tuban Regency. Methodology: This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The sample is selected using purposive sampling, involving respondents such as religious leaders, community figures, and Tegalagung village officials. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Main Findings: The cow birthday tradition involves a series of activities starting with the preparation of ketupat (rice cakes wrapped in palm leaves or janur). Neighbors gather at the cowshed, followed by a communal prayer. The cow is then decorated with ketupat sungu and ketupat kepal, and the ketupat is distributed. Novelty/Originality of the Study: This study offers a unique perspective by examining the intersection of indigenous traditions and religious values. It highlights how rural communities maintain religious awareness through cultural practices. The findings suggest that preserving such traditions, in harmony with modern religious understanding, can strengthen community bonds and spiritual consciousness. Future research may explore similar traditions in different cultural settings.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of mastering nahwu and sharaf (Arabic grammar) in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) as a fundamental foundation for understanding classical Arabic texts, particularly the kitab kuning. The study focuses on the implementation of drill and memorization methods in the intensive 40-day Kilatan program at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasani Logawe. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The drill method involved daily repetition, interactive questioning, and direct application of grammatical rules. Memorization was conducted independently and submitted before new material was introduced. The program was carried out continuously for 40 days without breaks, following a structured and consistent schedule. Supporting factors included well-organized material, disciplined scheduling, a conducive learning environment, and high student enthusiasm. Challenges faced during implementation included low motivation among some students and limited study time. However, the institution addressed these through additional review sessions and opportunities to participate in subsequent program batches. Results indicate that the applied methods effectively enhanced students’ understanding and mastery of nahwu and sharaf.

Abstract

Nilai perusahaan merupakan indikator utama dalam menilai kinerja dan prospek keberlanjutan suatu entitas bisnis. Nilai ini tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh profitabilitas, tetapi juga oleh efektivitas perusahaan dalam menerapkan green accounting, kinerja lingkungan, dan corporate social responsibility (CSR). Meningkatnya tuntutan stakeholder terhadap transparansi dan akuntabilitas lingkungan mendorong perusahaan untuk lebih aktif dalam kegiatan keberlanjutan guna meningkatkan persepsi pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh green accounting, kinerja lingkungan, dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan, dengan CSR sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel terdiri dari 15 perusahaan yang secara konsisten terdaftar dalam indeks SRI-KEHATI selama tahun 2020–2024, dengan total 75 data observasi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan software EViews. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa green accounting dan profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap CSR, sementara kinerja lingkungan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Selanjutnya, green accounting, profitabilitas, dan CSR berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan kinerja lingkungan tidak. CSR terbukti memediasi pengaruh green accounting dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan, namun tidak memediasi hubungan antara kinerja lingkungan dan nilai perusahaan. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya keterbukaan informasi lingkungan dan efisiensi operasional dalam membentuk nilai perusahaan, terutama melalui penguatan peran CSR.
