Abstract

One of the Small and Medium Enterprises in Palembang City is the Kelempang Tunu Mak Imam Business. Kelempang Tunu Mak Imam business has been established for more than 10 years, but even though it has been established for quite a long time, based on observations, this business still has several weaknesses, such as the lack of promotional facilities to increase sales results. This lack of promotional facilities is allegedly the reason why Kelempang Tunu Mak Imam business has not developed as expected. This community service activity aims to provide outreach regarding the importance of promotional tools to support business continuity and increase sales results. This community service activity uses primary data sourced from the results of primary interviews and observations with business actors as well as secondary data in the form of documents/studies related to service activities. The data analysis technique uses field studies, namely an analysis process that emphasizes the involvement of actors in service activities in various business activities of Kelempang Tunu Mak Imam. The activity stages include pre-activities, core activities and final activities (evaluation). The results of the activity concluded that the Tunu Mak Imam Lelempang Business has several weaknesses and threats such as the unavailability of promotional facilities, not yet keeping financial records (income and expenses) and the threat from similar products. However, Kelempang Tunu Mak Imam also has strengths and opportunities such as superior product types and flavors as well as open opportunities for collaboration with both banks and collaboration with other business actors. Apart from that, Kelempang Tunu Mak Imam business needs promotional facilities to increase the number of sales, one of the promotional means which is classified as economic which can be done is by making brand labels on the packaging.

Abstract

One of the MSME actors in Palembang City which is engaged in making accessories is AVAD Accessories. Even though it has been operating for more than 5 years, this business still has several obstacles, which is why community service activities at AVAD Accessories are very necessary to support this business. This community service activity uses primary data sourced from interviews and direct observations with business actors as well as secondary data in the form of documents in the form of previous studies and literature studies related to the theme of community service activities. This activity uses three stages including pre-activities, core activities and final activities (evaluation). The results of this activity found that the AVAD Accessories business has several strengths such as product uniqueness and the availability of online sales services. Apart from the strength of AVAD Accessories, it also has several opportunities such as the availability of bazaars and business exhibitions to support product marketing and the availability of several people's business credits and credits for MSMEs as a source of additional capital. The AVAD Accessories business also has several weaknesses, such as not using adequate promotional means, not including a trademark, not having an adequate business location and not having a method for determining selling prices and financial recording. Several threat factors for the AVAD Accessories business include: There are several similar businesses or business competition in marketing locations and limited raw materials for some products.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 diyakini memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar pada beberapa industri, salah satunya adalah industri pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak ekonomi dari pandemi Covid-19 terhadap industri pariwisata di Kota Palembang, serta langkah-langkah yang akan dilakukan terhadap pemulihan industri pariwisata di Kota Palembang akibat pandemi Covid-19. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh industri pariwisata yang ada di Kota Palembang, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 responden yang dipilih secara random selection. Pendekatan pengumpulan data meliputi data kualitatif, sedangkan sumber data menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari survei, observasi, dan wawancara dengan responden. Dengan menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman, proses analisis data dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, serta verifikasi dan triangulasi data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi COVID-19 berdampak langsung terhadap penurunan pendapatan pelaku sektor pariwisata di Kota Palembang, tingkat hunian hotel, pendapatan pelaku sektor pariwisata, dan kontribusi industri pariwisata terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. pendapatan per kapita Kota Palembang. Untuk memitigasi dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap sektor pariwisata di Kota Palembang, beberapa strategi telah ditetapkan. Diantaranya mempersiapkan dan membuka destinasi wisata dengan protokol kesehatan yang ketat, melaksanakan program Cleanliness, Health, and Safety (CHS) bagi seluruh pelaku sektor pariwisata, serta melakukan inovasi dan peningkatan sektor pariwisata. dan meningkatkan kualitas daya tarik wisata dan produk ekonomi kreatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pandemi terhadap kinerja reksa dana syariah dan konvensional di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah komparatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi seluruh reksa dana syariah dan konvensional yang terdaftar di OJK. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 1.920 reksadana konvensional dan 272 reksadana syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Beberapa data yang dikumpulkan berupa NAB reksadana, nilai pasar JII, IHSG dan SBI. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kinerja reksa dana syariah sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 dengan menggunakan metode NAB, Sharpe, Treynor dan Jensen dimana nilai signifikansinya masing-masing sebesar 0,064, 0,081, 0,153 dan 0,109. Sedangkan untuk reksa dana konvensional, terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 dengan menggunakan metode NAB, Sharpe, Treynor dan Jensen dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing sebesar 0,004, 0,003, 0,003 dan 0,024. Penelitian ini juga menyimpulkan bahwa selama pandemi Covid-19, dana kelolaan (Nilai Aktiva Bersih) baik untuk reksa dana syariah maupun konvensional mengalami penurunan dibandingkan sebelum pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide motivation and literacy to children at the Ananda Orphanage, Palembang City. The activity method uses socialization techniques with several stages including situation analysis, communication, socialization and evaluation. The activity was carried out incidentally for 1 day with the number of participants involved as many as 40 children. The results of the activity show that the socialization of motivation and literacy activities for the children at the Ananda Orphanage has had a positive impact on the motivation of the children at the Ananda Orphanage in Palembang City, although there are still some deficiencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah restrukturisasi kredit dan pembiayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja permodalan, kualitas aset, profitabilitas dan likuiditas bank BUMN di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh restrukturisasi kredit dan pembiayaan terhadap kinerja keuangan bank pemerintah (BUMN Nasional) di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh bank pemerintah (BUMN Nasional) di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang berjumlah 5 bank dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 4 bank. Sumber data menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan bank tahun 2018-2023, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu variabel bebas (X) yaitu jumlah kredit yang direstrukturisasi selama masa pandemi tahun 2018-2023 dan variabel terikat (Y) yaitu kinerja keuangan yang diukur dengan menggunakan empat variabel yaitu Permodalan dengan indikator Capital Adequancy Ratio (CAR), Kualitas asset dengan indicator Kualitas Aktiva Produktif (KAP), Profitabilitas dengan indicator Return on Asset (ROA) dan Return on Equity (ROE) serta kinerja Likuiditas dengan indikator loan deposit ratio (LDR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja permodalan (CAR), Kualitas Aset (KAP), Profitabilitas (ROA dan ROE) serta Likuiditas (LDR) bank BUMN berada pada kondisi baik dan sangat baik. Restrukturisasi kredit dan pembiayaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja permodalan, kualitas aktiva dan profitabilitas bank BUMN di Indonesia dengan indikator CAR, KAP, ROA dan ROE akan tetapi restrukturisasi kredit berpengaruh terhadap kinerja likuiditas dengan indikator LDR dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,031 dan besar pengaruh sebesar -1,3

Abstract

This study aims to assess the financial performance of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk over the period of 2019–2024. The evaluation was conducted using the Financial Value Added (FVA) method, employing a descriptive quantitative approach. The data used in this study is secondary data, obtained from the company's financial statements through documentation methods and literature review. The analysis results show that the FVA value of the company is in a positive condition (FVA > 0), indicating efficiency in the utilization of fixed assets. A positive FVA value means that the operational net profit, plus depreciation, is able to exceed the expenses related to fixed assets, such as depreciation costs and asset management. In this case, the company provides a positive financial contribution to shareholders, even though it has not yet fully created optimal economic value. However, although the company's FVA value shows positive results, it does not fully reflect that PT Semen Indonesia has created significant economic value. This is because, despite the company's efficiency in managing fixed assets, the creation of sustainable economic value still needs to be the focus. Aspects such as increased productivity, better cost management, and income diversification need to be considered in order to generate higher added value in the long run. Overall, this study concludes that PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has demonstrated positive financial performance related to the efficient use of fixed assets. However, the company needs to pay attention to other factors that can enhance the creation of economic value-added. With the right strategies, the company is expected to create more significant economic value and achieve financial sustainability in the long term.

Abstract

This study analyzed the influence of gold price fluctuations and promotional on customer interest in the Gold Installment product at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, Palembang Simpang Patal Sub-Branch. A quantitative approach was employed with 100 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula and an incidental sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, then processed using SPSS 26 through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicated that both partially and simultaneously, gold price fluctuations and promotions had a significant effect on customer interest, contributing 14.8 percent, while the remaining 85.2 percent was influenced by other factors outside the model. Promotion was identified as the dominant variable, implying that effective promotional strategies were key to increasing public interest in Sharia-based investments, particularly in the gold installment.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the financial condition of four private banks, namely Bank Mega, Bank JTrust, Bank Danamon, and Bank Panin listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2015 to 2024. The analysis uses the Risk-Based Bank Rating (RBBR) approach with a quantitative method, where the data source is derived from published annual financial statements. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling with the criteria of financial statements available for the last 10 years and the fluctuations in profits in the last three years. The bank's health assessment is carried out through four main aspects. First, the risk profile is measured using non-performing loan (NPL) ratios and liquidity levels through the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). Second, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is evaluated based on regulatory compliance and transparency reporting. Third, profitability which includes the return on asset ratio (ROA) and net interest margin (Net Interest Margin / NIM). Fourth, the capital aspect is analyzed through the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The results of the study show that in general, the four banks are in a healthy condition, especially in terms of capital and governance, which reflects the bank's ability to meet the minimum capital requirements and maintain management practices in accordance with banking industry standards. However, significant differences were found in the risk and profitability aspects. Banks that have less than optimal risk management tend to experience an increase in NPLs, while banks that are more efficient in managing operational costs are able to maintain ROA and NIM at a more stable level. In addition, external factors such as global economic conditions, monetary policy, interest rates, and interbank competition also affect financial performance.

Abstract

One of the youth groups that has a strategic role in village development is Youth Organization. This service aims to analyze youth empowerment through creative entrepreneurship in the village (district). This service method uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) or participatory approach, including training, mentoring, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Implementation starts from coordination, activity socialization, activity implementation phase, program sustainability, and report preparation, to monitoring and evaluation. The results of this service are Creative Business Training, which has been carried out in a blinded manner, producing outputs in the form of the growth of a creative entrepreneurial spirit, new products typical of the people of the Dekai District of Papua, handbooks, training modules, progress reports, final reports, of course, this is expected to have a principle of usefulness.
