Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Sekolah Plus Ngaji (School Plus Quran Recitation) Program at SDN 9 Tambakasri and its impact on improving students’ Quran reading abilities. The main issue behind this research is the low proficiency of elementary school students in reading the Quran, caused by limited religious education time, lack of parental support at home, and ineffective teaching methods. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and Quran reading tests. The results indicate that the program is conducted regularly three times a week using habit-building strategies, group mentoring, and periodic evaluations. A significant improvement was observed in students' Quran reading skills after participating in the program, as shown by a decrease in the number of students at the basic reading level and an increase in those with fluent reading ability. Additionally, there was a positive shift in students' attitudes toward religious learning, including greater confidence and improved understanding of Quranic recitation rules. The success of the program was also supported by active parental involvement and strong collaboration between teachers, schools, and families. However, challenges such as limited instructional time and a lack of supportive learning resources remain. In conclusion, the Sekolah Plus Ngaji Program is effective in enhancing students’ Quran reading skills and religious character formation when supported by proper implementation strategies and stakeholder cooperation.

Abstract

Being a teacher is a really noble job. He is responsible not only to make human children smart in the field of science, but also to have good morals in this life. A human child who at first does not understand anything, in front of a teacher is educated to understand life better and know the world. On his shoulders are the duties and responsibilities for the future sustainability of a generation that is smarter and more civilized. So noble is the job of a teacher as well as how heavy the task and responsibility of being a teacher is. This is why not everyone can be a successful teacher. Only certain people who have a love for children or students and are highly dedicated to the world of education are able to become teachers. This is the personality of a teacher who successfully teaches and educates in front of his students, the figure of a favorite teacher who is loved by his students. According to the perspective of Islamic education, in addition to serving as coaches and educators of students, teachers also have duties and roles as follows: 1.Corrector, 2.Inspirator, 3.Informer, 4.Organisator, 5.Motivator, 6.Initiator, 7. Abstract

The term profession in everyday life is used to indicate a person's work. A person who works as a doctor is said to be a doctor and a person whose job is to teach is said to be a teacher. So the term profession in this context has the same meaning as work or tasks that are carried out by someone in everyday life. Meanwhile, in professional terminology, it means a job that requires higher education for the perpetrators, which emphasizes mental work, namely the existence of theoretical knowledge requirements as an instrument for doing practical work, not manual work. So a profession must have three main pillars, namely knowledge, expertise, and academic preparation. The requirements of the teaching profession according to the perspective of Islamic education, are as follows: 1. Positions that involve intellectual activity, 2. Positions that involve a specific body of knowledge, 3. Positions that require long professionalpreparation, 4. Positions that require training in Continuous positions, 5. Positions that promise a life career in permanent membership, 6. Positions that determine their own standards, 7. Positions that prioritize service over personal gain, 8) Positions that have a strong and well- established professional organization.

Abstract

Tri dharma perguruan tinggi, yaitu: pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan bagian integral tri dharma perguruan tinggi yang dalam pelaksanaannya tidak terlepas dari dua dharma yang lain serta melibatkan segenap sivitas akademik: dosen, mahasiswa, tenaga kependidikan serta alumni. Melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dosen hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat bangsa Indonesia. Demikian pula ke depan merancang pengabdian kepada masyarakat dunia, melalui berbagai kiprah kerjasama dengan mitra internasional dapat berkarya di berbagai penjuru dunia. Tugas dosen tidak hanya melaksanakan pendidikan bagi mahasiswanya, tetapi juga melaksanakan riset dan mengembangkan inovasi, serta pelestarian dan pengembangan ilmu yang unggul dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Maka kaitannya dengan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari kampus Universitas Al-Qolam Malang, maka dosen diamanatkan suatu tugas yaitu memberikan pembinaan praktek shalat di pondok raudlatul ulum 1 desa Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang. Pelaksanaan pengabdiannya yaitu: 1. Menentukan tenaga pembantu di Pondok Raudlatul Ulum 1, 2. Menertibkan jadwal praktek shalat, 3. Membantu mengajar tentang ilmu shalat, 4. Membimbing santri untuk praktek shalat, 5. Memberi motivasi agar santri rajin mendirikan shalat berjama’ah.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengertian wudhu’ tentu perlu dipahami oleh seluruh umat Islam. Karena wudhu’ termasuk syarat sahnya shalat, ini wajib dilakukan agar Allah SWT menerima shalatnya. Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda, yang artinya: "Allah tidak menerima shalat salah seorang di antara kamu sampai ia berwudhu" (H.R Bukhari). Memahami sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW tersebut, telah jelaslah betapa pentingnya berwudhu’ untuk mendirikan shalat. Wudhu’ memiliki tata cara dan bacaan tertentu saat melakukannya, dan dijalankannya sesuai sunah. Tugas dosen tidak hanya melaksanakan pendidikan bagi mahasiswanya, tetapi juga melaksanakan riset dan mengembangkan inovasi, serta pelestarian dan pengembangan ilmu yang unggul dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Maka kaitannya dengan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari kampus Universitas Al-Qolam Malang, maka dosen diamanatkan suatu tugas yaitu pendampingan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memahami tatacara wudhu’ di Pondok Pesantren raudlatul ulum 1 desa Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang. Pelaksanaan pengabdiannya yaitu:1. Menentukan tenaga pembantu di Pondok Pesantren raudlatul ulum 1, 2. Menertibkan jadwal pelajaran tatacara wudhu’ di Pondok Pesantren raudlatul ulum 1, 3. Membantu mengajar tatacara wudhu’ di Pondok Pesantren raudlatul ulum 1, 4. Membimbing santri ketika kegiatan dilaksanakan, 5. Memberi motivasi agar santri Pondok Pesantren raudlatul ulum 1rajin berwudhu’. Kata kunci : Pendampingan, tatacara wudhu’, Raudlatul Ulum 1 Abstract The definition of ablution certainly needs to be understood by all Muslims. Because ablution is a requirement for the validity of prayer, it must be done so that Allah SWT accepts the prayer. The Prophet Muhammad SAW said, which means: "Allah does not accept the prayer of any of you until he performs ablution" (HR Bukhari). Understanding the words of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, it is clear how important ablution is to establish prayer. Ablution has certain procedures and readings when doing it, and is carried out according to the sunnah. The task of lecturers is not only to provide education for their students, but also to carry out research and develop innovation, as well as the preservation and development of superior and beneficial knowledge for society. So in relation to community service from the Al-Qolam University of Malang campus, lecturers are entrusted with a task, namely mentoring in improving the ability to understand the procedures for ablution at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School, Ganjaran Village, Gondanglegi Malang. The implementation of the service is: 1. Determining the assistant staff at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School, 2. Organizing the schedule of ablution procedures at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School, 3. Helping teach ablution procedures at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School, 4. Guiding students when activities are carried out, 5. Providing motivation so that students at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School are diligent in performing ablution. Abstract

Abstract This research describes a mentoring initiative conducted at Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 1 Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang aimed at improving Quran reading abilities. The study involved selecting assistant personnel, organizing Quran lesson schedules, assisting in Quran teaching, guiding students during activities, motivating students to diligently study the Quran, and cultivating the habit of reciting Surah Al-Fatihah. The implementation of this initiative showed positive outcomes in enhancing Quran reading abilities at Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 1. Proposed recommendations include implementing disciplined learning, dedicated guidance by teachers, and providing motivation for students to study diligently. It is anticipated that these recommendations will contribute to the effective and successful teaching and learning process at the mentioned pesantren. Keywords: Pendampingan, al-Qur’an, Pondok pesantren, Raudlatul Ulum Abstrak Penelitian ini menggambarkan sebuah pendampingan yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 1 Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an. Penelitian ini mencakup penentuan tenaga pendamping, penertiban jadwal pelajaran Al-Qur'an, bantuan pengajaran Al-Qur'an, pembimbingan saat kegiatan berlangsung, motivasi bagi santri untuk rajin belajar Al-Qur'an, dan memperkenalkan membaca surat Al-Fatihah. Melalui penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pengabdian ini memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 1. Saran-saran yang diusulkan termasuk penerapan pembelajaran yang disiplin, bimbingan sungguh-sungguh oleh guru, serta pemberian motivasi kepada santri untuk rajin belajar. Abstract

Abstract During this period, there is a need for good habits in children and the cultivation of good and correct aqidah, because at an early age a child is like white paper that is not stained, and this must be maintained with good habits, and parents have an important role in the child himself. Education and development of faith and morals should be done from an early age, but that does not mean that education and development of faith and morals are not needed when people are adults. Education and development of faith and morals must continue to be carried out because education on faith and morals is lifelong until the end of life. The seven main factors for students' success in understanding the subject of moral aqidah are as follows: 1. Students have a high level of intelligence, 2. Students have motivation in learning, 3. Students are interested in learning, 4. Students are always healthy, 5. Students behave well, 6. Students receive attention from their parents, 7. Teachers use appropriate methods for students. Keywords: Main factors, students, moral aqidah Abstrak Dalam masa ini, diperlukan adanya pembiasaan yang baik pada diri anak dan penanaman aqidah yang baik dan benar, karena pada usia dini seorang anak bagaikan kertas yang putih yang tidak ternoda, dan ini harus dijaga dengan pembiasaan yang baik, dan orang tua memiliki peran penting pada diri anak tersebut. Pendidikan dan pengembangan akidah dan akhlak, selayaknya memang dilakukan sejak anak masih berusia dini, namun bukan berarti pendidikan dan pengembangan akidah dan akhlak tidak diperlukan ketika orang sudah dewasa. Pendidikan dan pengembangan akidah dan akhlak harus tetap dilakukan karena pendidikan akidah dan akhlak ini bersifat sepanjang masa sampai akhir hayat. Tujuh faktor utama keberhasilan peserta didik dalam memahami mata pelajaran aqidah akhlak yaitu sebagai berikut: 1. Peserta didik tingkat kecerdasannya tinggi, 2. Peserta didik mempunyai motivasi dalam belajar, 3. peserta didik berminat dalam belajar, 4. Peserta didik selalu sehat, 5. Peserta didik bersikap yang baik, 6. Abstract

Community service is an integral part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, its implementation inseparable from the other two Dharma and involves the entire academic community: lecturers, students, education staff, and alumni. Service to the global community, through various collaborative activities with international partners, can be achieved worldwide. Lecturers' duties extend beyond education, including conducting research and developing innovations, as well as preserving and developing superior, beneficial knowledge for the community. Therefore, in relation to community service at the Al-Qolam University of Malang, lecturers are mandated with the task of PROVIDING SUCCESSFUL TIPS FOR JOURNAL WRITING FOR STUDENTS AT AL-QOLAM UNIVERSITY OF MALANG. Among the benefits are increasing student awareness and publishing written works.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum Sidogiri Method in developing students’ ability to read classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) at the I’dadiyah level of Madrasah Diniyah in Miftahul Ulum Ru4 Islamic Boarding School for male and female students in Malang. This research employed a qualitative approach using a multisite study design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, complemented by cross-site analysis.The findings indicate that the implementation of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum Method was conducted through systematic stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation using a graded level (jilid) system. The method effectively enhanced students’ understanding of basic nahwu and sharaf principles and their ability to apply these rules in reading unvowelled Arabic texts in a gradual and practical manner. Cross-site analysis revealed similarities in learning objectives, material structure, and instructional stages, while differences were found in classroom management and pedagogical approaches influenced by the characteristics of male and female students. The main challenges included students’ heterogeneous initial abilities, limited instructional time, and fluctuating concentration levels. These challenges were addressed through additional learning sessions, reinforcement of grammatical memorization, and individualized guidance. This study concludes that the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum Sidogiri Method is flexible, contextual, and effective for improving students’ kitab kuning reading skills at the I’dadiyah level of Madrasah Diniyah. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and interpret the instillation of Islamic character education values ​​among street children at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School in Ganjaran, Gondanglegi, Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach, a type of research that produces findings that are not obtained by statistical procedures or other quantification tools. This can lead to research on a person's life, history, behavior, or interactional relationships. This concept emphasizes that qualitative research is characterized by an emphasis on the use of non-statistical (mathematical) methods, especially in the data analysis process, to produce research findings naturally. The researcher determined the appropriate data collection techniques, namely: 1. Interview techniques; 2. Participant observation techniques; 3. Documentation methods. The instillation of Islamic character education values ​​among street children at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School in Ganjaran, Gondanglegi, Malang, includes: 1) Establishing study groups at the Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School as a strategy for instilling Islamic character education; 2) Implementation of Islamic character education values ​​in daily life at Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School; 3) Evaluation and monitoring of the program to instill Islamic character education values ​​in street children at Raudlatul Ulum 1 Islamic Boarding School are critical aspects in ensuring the success and sustainability of this initiative.
