Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the implementation of clinical supervision in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning at SD Negeri 5 Bowong. Furthermore, it analyzes the role of clinical supervision in enhancing learning quality, specifically in addressing low student motivation and the limitations of teachers in utilizing innovative media and integrating science and social process skills. The research utilized a qualitative method with a case study approach. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 5 Bowong during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Key informants included the principal, supervisors, three IPAS teachers, and students. Data collection techniques involved direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data validity was tested through credibility tests using triangulation of sources, techniques, and time, while data analysis followed an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of clinical supervision at SD Negeri 5 Bowong is carried out through a structured cycle including pre- observation (planning), observation, and post-observation (feedback) using collaborative and reflective models. Clinical supervision successfully improved IPAS learning quality by transforming teaching methods from conventional to active inquiry and Project-Based Learning, as well as encouraging the use of interactive digital media. The impact of these improved pedagogical practices is evident in escalated student motivation, increased active participation in group discussions, and the students' ability to independently construct knowledge through real investigation (HOTS).

This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted on class XII students at SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja with the population in this study being class XII, totaling 288 from 8 classes multiplied by 36 students per class. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling. Each class was represented by 10 people so that the total sample was 80 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used multiple regression techniques and t-test analysis and F test using SPSS  The results of this study are; 1). The probability value of X1 is 0.001. This value is smaller than 0.05 or the calculated t value is 3.401 t table 1.664 (n-1 = 79 alpha 5%) so it can be concluded that the variable Benefits of Waking Up Early (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the variable Attitude of Learning Economics of class XII students of SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. 2). The probability value of X2 is 0.045. This value is smaller than 0.05 or the calculated t value is 2.040 t table 1.664 (n-1 = 79 alpha 5%) so it can be concluded that the variable Exercise Habits (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the variable Attitude of Learning Economics of class XII students of SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. 3). The probability value of X3 is 0.000. This value is smaller than 0.05 or the calculated t value of 7.475 t table 1.664 (n-1 = 79 alpha 5%) so it can be concluded that the variable Love of Learning (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the variable of Economic Learning Attitude of class XII students of SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. and 4). The sig. value of the F test is 0.000 at a significance level of 0.05. This value is smaller than 0.05 which indicates that all independent variables consisting of; Benefits of Waking Up Early (X1) Exercise Habits (X2) Love of Learning (X3) together influence the Economic Learning Attitude (Y) of class XII students of SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja/

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the implementation of teacher performance supervision at SDN 11 Pasui, Bungoro District, Pangkep Regency. The primary focus of this research is to evaluate the methods and approaches used in supervision, as well as to identify the impact of the process on teacher competence, professionalism, and the quality of learning. Furthermore, this study also aims to explore various supporting and inhibiting factors and to formulate strategic recommendations to optimize the supervision system at the school. The research method employed is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through triangulation techniques, including participatory observation of the learning process and supervision interactions, in- depth interviews with key informants (Principal, Teachers, and School Supervisors), and documentation studies of supervision plans and reports. Data analysis was carried out inductively using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which consists of data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of supervision at SDN 11 Pasui has transformed from a mere administrative formality into a systematic, humanistic, and collaborative professional development process. Supervision is conducted routinely through pre-observation, observation, and post-observation stages, with a primary focus on improving pedagogical competencies such as subject matter mastery and classroom management. Despite obstacles such as time constraints and administrative burdens, the application of coaching strategies and reflective dialogue has proven effective in significantly increasing motivation, self-reflection abilities, and the quality of teacher instruction.
