Abstract

Educational transformation in the digital era requires teachers to master technological skills, particularly in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and interactive multimedia. Teachers are not only knowledge transmitters but also facilitators of learning who can provide innovative and adaptive learning experiences. This Community Service Program (PKM) was carried out with the aim of enhancing teachers’ competencies in Bandung City in using the H5P and Edpuzzle platforms integrated with the Deep Learning approach. The methods applied included needs analysis, training, mentoring, and continuous evaluation. A total of 30 junior high school teachers actively participated in this program over six months. The results showed that 85% of teachers were able to integrate AI into lesson planning, 78% successfully produced innovative learning media using H5P and Edpuzzle, and 72% demonstrated improved reflective abilities in implementing the Deep Learning Approach. This mentoring contributed to increased student participation, strengthened critical thinking skills, and improved learning motivation. These outcomes indicate that the integration of AI and interactive multimedia can serve as an effective strategy in realizing 21st-century learning that is collaborative, creative, and student-centered.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, banyak siswa yang tidak menyukai pembelajaran matematika karena bagi mereka matematika adalah pembelajaran yang menyulitkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model project based learning berbantuan aplikasi wordwall dengan membandingkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Subjek dari penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas II SD Negeri 1 Cipeundeuy, sedangkan objeknya adalah kelas II B dan II C, kelas tersebut dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dimana atas pertimbangan para guru dari pihak sekolah dan setelah diuji kelas tersebut juga memiliki tingkat kemampuan pehamahan konsep matematika yang setara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian tipe Quasi Eksperiment dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pretest, posttest dan lembar observasi adalah metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil uji t dua sampel bebas menunjukkan perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol; dengan nilai signifikansi 2-tailed 0.042 < 0.05, Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan model project based learning berbantuan aplikasi wordwall dan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang berbeda. Hasil uji n-gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen bernilai 66% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol bernilai 22%, artinya kelas yang menggunakan model project based learning berbantuan aplikasi wordwall memiliki peningkatan yang lebih besar daripada kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sementara itu, untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model project based learning berbantuan aplikasi wordwall digunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan mendapatkan nilai 0.048 < 0,05. Jika dilihat dari thitung > ttabel dapat di hasilkan 2,087 > 2,069. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menggunakan model project based learning berbantuan aplikasi wordwall memiliki perbedaan dengan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penggunaan model project based learning berbantuan aplikasi wordwall juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap siswa.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools as a form of 21st-century learning to improve the Pancasila Student Profile. The research method used a literature study by collecting and analyzing data related to learning practices, 21st-century skills development, and character building in students. The results show that the Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility in learning management, facilitates project-based activities, and adapts strategies to student needs. This approach supports the development of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, as well as student responsibility and independence. The involvement of parents and the school environment also strengthens the internalization of character values. These findings confirm that the Merdeka Curriculum shapes students who are academically competent and have character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile. Abstract

Digital literacy is a fundamental competency for students in the 21st century; however, the digital literacy skills of elementary school students in Indonesia remain low and suboptimal in addressing the challenges of the digital era. This research aims to explore in depth the application of artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning media to support the development of digital literacy among elementary school students in the context of 21st-century learning. The study employs a qualitative case study design to examine three elementary schools in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas that have implemented AI-based learning media. The research participants included 18 teachers in grades 4-6, 9 principals, and 36 students, all selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, focus group discussions, and documentation over six months. Data analysis uses a thematic, inductive-iterative approach to identify emerging themes and patterns. The results of the study identified five main themes: (1) personalisation of learning increases student engagement and understanding of the concept of digital literacy; (2) AI media facilitates adaptive learning according to individual learning styles and speeds; (3) interactive and gamification features increase motivation and learning independence; (4) implementation challenges include infrastructure limitations, teachers' digital competence, and the balance between technology and social interaction; (5) Success factors include school management support, ongoing teacher training, and user-friendly media design. The research provides an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of AI media applications in digital literacy learning, offering practical recommendations for effective implementation in primary schools that account for socio-cultural contexts and diverse infrastructure conditions

Abstract

This study aims to describe the understanding, readiness, and obstacles faced by prospective elementary school teachers in implementing digital-based learning methods in the 21st century. The method used in this study was qualitative with semi-structured interviews and observations during PPL activities, aimed at uncovering prospective teachers' experiences in utilizing technology for learning. The study shows that prospective teachers recognize the importance of digital innovation in supporting 4C skills and creating interactive learning experiences. They see technology as a tool that facilitates students' learning in more flexible and creative ways. However, implementation still faces obstacles such as a lack of digital skills, nervousness when using new applications, and inadequate school facilities, including internet access and necessary devices. This study concludes that to achieve success in digital learning, continuous training, intensive mentoring, and appropriate infrastructure support are needed so that prospective teachers can integrate technology well into the learning process in elementary schools. Keywords: 21st century learning, digital learning, implementation challenges, students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pemahaman, kesiapan, dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh calon guru sekolah dasar dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran berbasis digital di abad ke-21. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan wawancara semi-terstruktur serta observasi selama kegiatan PPL, bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengalaman calon guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pembelajaran. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa calon guru menyadari pentingnya inovasi digital dalam mendukung keterampilan 4C dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif. Mereka melihat teknologi sebagai alat yang memfasilitasi siswa untuk belajar dengan cara yang lebih fleksibel dan kreatif. Namun, pelaksanaannya masih menghadapi hambatan seperti kurangnya keterampilan digital, rasa gugup ketika menggunakan aplikasi baru, serta kondisi fasilitas sekolah yang belum memadai, termasuk akses internet dan perangkat yang diperlukan. Penelitian ini menarik kesimpulan bahwa untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran digital, dibutuhkan pelatihan yang terus-menerus, pendampingan yang intensif, serta dukungan infrastruktur yang tepat agar calon guru dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan baik dalam proses belajar di sekolah dasar Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran abad ke-21, Pembelajaran digital, Tantangan implementasi, Mahasiswa

Abstract

Textbooks exert minimal influence on learning outcomes, underscoring the urgent need to develop high-quality, context-responsive teaching materials for prospective educators. This study designed, validated, and evaluated Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)-based instructional materials using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) framework. Participants included 60 prospective teachers from Pasundan University, randomly assigned to experimental (RME-based materials) and control (conventional textbook) groups. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and achievement tests, with ANOVA used for analysis. Expert validation scores were high: material experts (91.86%), learning model experts (92.58%), and peers (92.40%), confirming strong validity. Practicality was similarly high, with small-group and large-group student assessments scoring 92.40% and 92.03%, respectively. Post-intervention, the experimental group outperformed the control group significantly (mean scores: 91.8 vs. 69.5; Δ = 22.3), supported by robust statistical evidence: F(1,47) = 45.07, p < 0.001, η² = 0.49, Cohen’s d = 1.39—indicating a large effect size. Findings confirm the RME-based materials are valid, practical, and highly effective in improving prospective teachers’ learning outcomes. Broader implementation and adaptation to other mathematics topics are strongly recommended.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendah nya berpikir kritis di SDN Bhakti Winaya 2, banyak siswa yang masih kesulitan dalam analisis dan penyelesaian masalah, terutama dalam pelajaran matematika mengenai pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan bantuan Canva terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pertanyaan penelitian mencakup: (1) bagaimana kondisi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan bantuan Canva, (2) apakah penerapan model tersebut berdampak signifikan, dan (3) seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan desain quasi- eksperimental dengan tipe non-equivalent control group design pada siswa kelas V. Alat ukur penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dilaksanakan dalam pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dibantu Canva memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kapasitas berpikir kritis siswa. Kenaikan di kelas eksperimen tergolong tinggi, sementara di kelas kontrol masuk kategori sedang. Temuan ini menandakan bahwa kombinasi model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan media Canva berhasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.
