Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, specifically ChatGPT, in assisting the learning process of students in the Informatics Education study program. The research focuses on the following issues: the level of ChatGPT utilization by students during their learning activities; the benefits experienced from using ChatGPT as a tool to understand material, debug code, and complete assignments; and students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of ChatGPT in enhancing their understanding of Informatics coursework.The method used in this study refers to a quantitative approach with a survey method, employing data collection through the distribution of structured questionnaire instruments to research participants, namely active students of the Informatics Education Study Program. Out of 30 respondents, 96.7% use ChatGPT, primarily to understand material, complete assignments, and engage in independent learning. Students identified various functional benefits from using ChatGPT, such as increased study time efficiency, ease in obtaining conceptual clarifications, and the ability to access explanations that are more structured and easier to understand compared to conventional sourcesFurthermore, most students gave positive evaluations of ChatGPT as a digital entity capable of increasing learning motivation, improving material comprehension, saving time, and supporting practical tasks. These findings confirm ChatGPT’s potential as an effective learning support tool. However, its integration needs to be conducted wisely to avoid cognitive dependency and maintain academic integrity.Based on the overall findings presented, this study recommends that the use of ChatGPT in higher education contexts be done proportionally, prudently, and accompanied by a critical attitude. Students are encouraged not to passively accept every piece of information provided by the AI system but rather to use it as an intellectual stimulus to explore further knowledge, develop deeper understanding, and uphold academic integrity in every learning process.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Meta AI usage on the learning interest of Informatics Education students in the digital era. The main issues addressed are the suboptimal integration of Meta AI in learning processes and students’ readiness to adapt to new technologies. Using a mixed-method approach, data were collected through questionnaires and  with second and fourth-semester students. The results indicate that Meta AI significantly enhances learning interest, facilitates information access, and boosts students’ motivation and curiosity. However, challenges regarding technology dependence and privacy issues remain. This research provides recommendations for developing adaptive and effective Meta AI-based learning strategies in higher education.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut orang tua untuk mengembangkan pola pengasuhan yang adaptif terhadap tantangan era digital. Namun, masih banyak orang tua yang memiliki literasi digital rendah dan belum memahami pentingnya peran aktif mereka dalam mendampingi anak di dunia maya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kapasitas orang tua dalam menerapkan konsep Techno Parenting melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Suanae, Kabupaten Bima, dengan melibatkan 45 peserta yang terdiri dari orang tua, guru, dan tokoh masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok, simulasi penggunaan teknologi, serta evaluasi pre dan post. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman orang tua mengenai risiko digital, pentingnya komunikasi terbuka dengan anak, serta penggunaan teknologi secara sehat dan terarah. Temuan ini memperkuat urgensi integrasi nilai-nilai lokal dan literasi digital dalam membangun pola asuh yang reflektif dan kontekstual di tengah arus digitalisasi keluarga.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine Informatics Education student’s perceptions of using the EdLink Learning management system (LMS) in the Data Structures course. The research employs a mix method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection throughused questionnaires and interviews with students who have used EdLink during lectures. The results indicate that most students find EdLink facilitates access to learning materials, enhances communication with lecturers, and supports independent learning. However, some challenges challenges were identified  include technical issues and limited interactive features. These findings are expected to provide valauable input for the further development of EdLink LMS to better support data Structures learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of social media content on Gen Z students' purchasing decisions in e-commerce. The problem is how significantly social media—through promotional content, influencers, and short videos—affects the behavior of Gen Z consumers. Using a descriptive quantitative method, data were collected from 30 students at Universitas Citra Bangsa using a closed-ended questionnaire. The results indicate that 86.6% of students use social media frequently, 70% often see promotional content, and 50% are influenced by short-form videos and testimonials. The findings confirm that decision-making is shaped by engaging and trustworthy content, such as influencer recommendations and viral trends. Thus, social media plays a central role in shaping purchasing behavior among Gen Z students.

Abstract

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has penetrated the academic field, offering ease in learning processes and task completion. However, ethical concerns regarding its use arise. This study aims to analyze the awareness and ethical perspective of Informatics students at Universitas Citra Bangsa towards AI usage. A total of 30 students from semesters 2, 4, and 6 participated by filling out a questionnaire. The results show a high level of interest in using AI tools responsibly and a strong demand for formal ethical guidance from the university. The research concludes that ethical education related to AI is essential and should be integrated into the academic curriculum.

Abstract

This thesis was conducted based on the problem that the learning process in the subject of Basic Computer and Telecommunication Network Engineering at Class X TJKT of SMK Negeri 1 Kupang still relies on conventional learning methods, causing difficulties for students in understanding abstract concepts of network topology and resulting in low learning engagement and varied learning outcomes. This research aims to develop an Augmented Reality-based learning media on network topology materials and to determine its effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. This thesis employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The media was developed using Unity 3D and Vuforia to present interactive three-dimensional visualizations of network devices and learning materials. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The developed media was validated by media and material experts before implementation in the learning process. The findings indicate that Augmented Reality-based learning media can support a more interactive, engaging, and contextual learning experience, helping students understand network topology concepts more effectively and contributing to improved student learning outcomes.
