Abstract

The emergence of the analytic philosophy of language that developed by Ludwig Wittgenstein focused that the problem of philosophy is a problem of language. Philosophy of language as a linguistic discipline has a strategic position related to the development of language learning, including Arabic. By using library research methods, this study aims to describe the urgency of the philosophy of language and Arabic learning which resulted in several conclusions. First, in essence, language is a symbol system that is not only a sequence of empirical sounds but has a non-empirical meaning. Second, the relationship between philosophy and language occurs when philosophers most often use language analysis to solve philosophical problems. Third, the position of philosophy as the basis for analyzing language concepts and considering the central role of language in verbally expressing philosophical thoughts. Abstract

Abstract The term language society emerged and was developed from the term issued by Fishman (1976) about speech community. In relation to the term language society, this study aims to determine the choice of language among the Arabic language society at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang, and their attitudes towards their environmental language (Arabic), regional language ​​(Minang), national language ​​(Bahasa). This research is a descriptive study that describes the choice of language by a language society. The results of the study show that: Firstly, the students or the Arabic language society at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University Padang sometimes use Arabic and Minang language in class, but frequently use Bahasa in class. Secondly, the students or the Arabic language society very rarely use Arabic outside the classroom, often using Minang and Bahasa outside the classroom. Abstract

المجتمع اللغوي وتعدد اللغات هما مبحثان من المباحث التي اهتم بها علم اللغة الاجتماعي. وكان المجتمع اللغوي هم الذين يشعرون أنهم يستخدمون نفس اللغة. والطالبات كالمجتمع اللغوي بمعهد "الدينية للبنات" لامبونج تشعرن ومطلوبات باستخدام اللغة الرسمية، وهي اللغة العربية والإنجليزية والإندونيسية. نهتمّ نحو التعليم للغة العربية التي تكون اللغة الأوْلى في هذا المعهد. وهذا البحث يهدف إلى كشف الأنشطة اللغوية في مجتمع متعدد اللغات بمعهد "الدينية للبنات" لامبونج. ونستخدم في هذا البحث المدخل الكيفي والمنهج الوصفي التحليلي. ونتيجة هذا البحث أن الأنشطة اللغوية في معهد "الدينية للبنات" لامبونج انقسمت إلى الأنشطة اللغوية اليومية، والأسبوعية، والشهرية، والسنوية، و جميع الأنشطة يعقد باللغة العربية بمساعدة اللغة الإنجليزية، والإندونيسية. الكلمات الأساسية : تعدد اللغات، تعليم اللغة العربية، المجتمع اللغوي، دراسة الحالة

Abstract

الهدف من هذا البحث هو لبيان عن تخطيط وتنفيذ وتقويم تعليم اللغة العربية بجوجل كلاس روم في المدرسة العالية الحكومية الثانية بادانج. هذا البحث هو بحث كيفي لوصف تعليم اللغة العربية بجوجل كلاس روم. وجد البحث أن تخطيط تعليم اللغة العربية أقامه الأستاذ قد استعد تخطيط تعليم اللغة العربية بسبعة خطوات. و التنفيذ أن يقدم الأستاذ المواد الدراسية، ثم يتعلم الطلاب تلك المواد، و يقود الأستاذ المناقشة حول جوجل كلاس روم، ثم يتعلم الطلاب المادة التي يقدمها الأستاذ، ثم اتبع الطلاب المناقشات التي جرت حول جوجل كلاس روم. أما في عملية التقويم، يقدم الأستاذ الاختبارات ثم يقوم الطلاب بتلك اللاختبارت والواجبات. والأخر يعد الأستاذ نتيجة التقويم في جوجل كلاس روم. والاستنتاج أن يقوم الأستاذ بتحسين التخطيط في تعليم اللغة العربية بجوجل كلاس روم، و أن يقوم باستخدام طريقة متنوعة وفعالة في مرحلة التنفيذ و التقويم.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' perceptions of the Arabic speaking skills evaluation using YouTube as an evaluation medium. This study used descriptive research which aims to describe the results of the analysis related to students' perceptions of the Arabic speaking skills evaluation using YouTube as an evaluation medium. Because of the large amount of data and information obtained from students, the researchers used data collection methods through questionnaires. Findings show that first, the students agree to use YouTube as a medium for evaluating speaking skill (maharah kalam). Second, the students were happy with the use of YouTube as a medium. evaluation of speaking skill (maharah kalam) and students felt that their motivation was increased by using YouTube as a medium. Third, students feel they practice using Arabic by using YouTube as a medium for evaluating speaking skill (maharah kalam) then it can be concluded that the evaluation construction is valid because when evaluating speaking skill (maharah kalam), students must speak, or the aspect of speaking that is measured. Fourth, The students' perceptions of the objectivity of lecturers in assessing the videos were good. Fifth, that students agree to use YouTube as an evaluation medium in other courses

Abstract

Development of a Vocabulary Teaching Tool using Wordwall Application for 8th Grade Students of Government Secondary School 1 Pariaman المفردات هي عنصر أساسي للغة التي يجب أن يتقنها طلبة اللغة الأجنبية. بلا الوسيلة التعليمية الممتعة كانت الطلبة يشعرون بالسآمة ولا يتحمسون في تعلم العربية خاصة في المفردات، وهذا الحال يسبب إلى انخفاض نتائج الطلبة في استيعاب المفردات. يهدف هذا البحث لتطوير وسيلة تعليم المفردات باستخدام برنامج وارد وال لطلبة الصف الثامن. هذا البحث هو البحث والتطوير بنموذج 4د من S. Thiagarajan ويتكون من أربع خطوات فهي التعريف، والتصميم، والتطوير، والإنتشار. أسلوب تحليل البيانات المستخدم أسلوب الكمي وأسلوب الكيفي. ولكن، تحدد الباحثة إجراءات البحث حتى المرحلة التطوير من حيث تجربة المحدودة. أما نتائج البحث والتطوير فهي تحليل الإحتياجات لتطوير وسيلة برنامج وارد وال في تعليم المفردات من المعلم والطلبة الصف الثامن على تقديرها "محتاج جدا". وتصميم وسيلة برنامج وارد وال في تعليم المفردات يتكون من جمع المواد المفردات، تصميم اللعبة والمفردات على البرنامج. وتطوير وسيلة برنامج وارد وال في تعليم المفردات، يتكون من تصديق الخبير الوسيلة واللغة (نتيجة تصديق الوسيلة هي90٪، ونتيجة تصديق اللغة هي 86٪). ويستطيع لاستخدام في تعليم المفردات لطلبة الصف الثامن بالمدرسة الثانوية الحكومية 1 بارييامان. Vocabulary is an important component of language that must be mastered by foreign language learners. Without interactive media, students usually feel bored and unmotivated in teaching Arabic, especially in vocabulary, and this situation causes students' scores to be low in vocabulary comprehension. This study aims to develop a vocabulary teaching method using the Wordwall program for eighth graders. This research is a research and development with a 4D model from S. Thiagarajan and consists of four steps, namely define, design, develop and dissemination. Methods of data analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods. However, the researcher limited the research steps to the development stage due to limited time and research costs. The results of the research and development are: that in the analysis of the needs for the development of the Wordwall application in mufradat learning, it is "very much needed" from the teachers and students of class VIII. While at the design stage of the Wordwall application in mufradat learning, it consists of collecting vocabulary material, designing games and vocabulary in the program. And the development of the Wordwall application in mufradat learning, consisting of validation by media experts and linguists (90% validation results from media experts, and 86% from language experts). Then it was concluded that the results of this development can be used in mufradat learning for eighth grade students of Government Secondary School 1 Pariaman.Kosakata adalah komponen penting dari bahasa yang harus dikuasai oleh pelajar bahasa asing. Tanpa media yang interaktif, siswa biasanya merasa bosan dan tidak bersemangat dalam mengajar bahasa Arab, terutama dalam kosa kata, dan keadaan ini menyebabkan nilai siswa rendah dalam pemahaman kosa kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode pengajaran kosa kata menggunakan program Wordwall untuk siswa kelas delapan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D dari S. Thiagarajan dan terdiri dari empat langkah yaitu definisi, desain, pengembangan dan penyebarluasan. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Namun, peneliti membatasi langkah penelitian hingga tahap pengembangan dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu dan biaya penelitian. Adapun hasil penelitian dan pengembangannya adalah: bahwa pada analisis kebutuhan untuk pengembangan aplikasi Wordwall dalam pembelajaran mufradat “sangat dibutuhkan” dari guru dan siswa kelas VIII. Sedangkan pada tahap perancangan aplikasi Wordwall dalam pembelajaran mufradat terdiri dari pengumpulan materi kosakata, perancangan permainan dan kosakata pada program. Dan pengembangan aplikasi Wordwall dalam pembelajaran mufradat, terdiri dari validasi ahli media dan ahli bahasa (hasil validasi ahli media 90%, dan hasil validasi ahli bahasa 86%). Maka didapatlah kesimpulan bahwa hasil pengembangan ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran mufradat untuk siswa kelas delapan MTsN 1 Pariaman.

Abstract

The holy Qur'an and its meanings have uslubs that contain miracles and beautiful wording beyond the Arabic uslubs used today. To understand the holy Qur'an, it requires the mastery of Arabic sciences, especially Nahwu science, including Ism Maushul Musytarak. Therefore, the author is interested to make a research  regarding to the nahwu science, especially in the title of "Ism Maushul Musytarok in Surah Ali-imron." The research method used is an explanatory research method with a qualitative desk research approach.Explanatory research method is a research in which the data is analyzed to determine the relationship between one variable and another. The qualitative approach is used to express the data verbally and analyze the data without statistical methods. Data collection tools include observation and documentation. After the author carried out research in surah Ali-imron so that she found 166 Ism Maushul Musytarok, namely: Al, Ma, Man, and ayyu.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is "What is the effect of using a flash card media on the vocabulary comprehension of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang?". Then this research aims to know the vocabulary comprehension ability of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang before using flash card media, and to know the effectiveness of using flash card media on vocabulary comprehension of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang. The researcher used the quantitative approach by the experimental research method, and the method of data collection is the test and its tools, and the data collection method used the questions in oral and written form, and in analyzing the data with a T-test using the SPSS 20. The researcher found that the data was normally distributed and homogeneous with a significance value of > 0.05 as a requirement for the T test. The results of the research indicated that the vocabulary comprehension ability of students before using flash card means that among 30 students, 26 students were unsuccessful in the minimum scale of 80 KKM, with an average value of 62.2. Then the "T" test indicates that the result of the calculation is -38,379 that is greater than the result of the table -73,971. The result of sig (2-tailed) is 0.05 is greater than 0.000. So, the researcher concludes that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, The use of flas card is effective on vocabulary comprehension of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang.  Keywords: Media; Flash Card; Arabic; Vocabulary

Abstract

In the book of teaching the Arabic language for the eleventh grade in ‎the Islamic High School in 2020, the researcher found some differences ‎and errors in the presentation of educational materials. This research ‎aims to reveal the validity of the content validity of the textbook for ‎teaching the Arabic language for the eleventh grade in the Islamic High ‎School in 2020 according to the National Education Reporting ‎Authority (BSNP). This research is important for his work, because this ‎book that the teacher will use as the main teaching material in ‎teaching Arabic to eleventh grade students in the Islamic High School ‎throughout Indonesia, then this book must be a decent book as the ‎main teaching material. The research approach used in this research is ‎a qualitative approach with a library approach. As for the data ‎collection tools, it is the notes in the book for teaching the Arabic ‎language for the eleventh grade in the high school in 2020 and the ‎documents for collecting written data related to this research. The ‎data analysis method in this research is content analysis. As for the ‎data analysis steps in this research, they are data identification, analysis ‎process, and degree assignment. The results of this research were that ‎the suitability of the materials with the main competency and the basic ‎competence in this book is decent, but the spiritual attitude and the ‎social attitude need to be fulfilled in each lesson. The accuracy of the ‎material in this book was a little decent, because the error was found in ‎the movement of the word and the statement of the material. The ‎terminology and diction were found to be inappropriate with the well-‎known Arabic terminology, and some of the pictures and illustrations ‎were not appropriate for their statement. The replenishment of ‎material in this book was decent, but some of the photos and ‎illustrations are unrealistic. There are the examples and the issue that ‎do not indicate the examples and the issue found in Indonesia and the ‎Arabs‎

Abstract

This research aims to discover and analyze related aspects of teaching Arabic as follows: (1) the planning of teaching Arabic, (2) material that is used in the Arabic language teaching, (3) the steps of teaching Arabic, (4) the impact of multilingualism against linguistic activity in the boarding school. This research used the qualitative approach with descriptive analytical method. The results showed that: (1) The planning of teaching Arabic at the lodge include the planning of the boarding school as a whole by recruiting and assigning teachers with teaching Arabic competence, while planning of the teacher executed through a learning device; (2) Material that is used in the Arabic language teaching taken from a variety of different types of books; (3) The steps of Arabic language teaching are point to eclectic method using, with the help of code-switching and mixing from the Arabic language to the English or Bahasa; (4) The impact of multilingualism from language society at this Boarding School Lampung is the Arabic language teaching use the code-switching and mixing. And the multilingualism of multilingual society impact to many kinds of language activities, which is the Arabic language become the main language for using in this boarding school.
