Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Community-Science- Technology learning approach toward scientific attitude and science learning achievement on fifth grade students of public elementary school Banyuning Cluster. This research was a quasi-experiment with Posttest-Only Control-Group Design. Research population was 198 fifth grade students of Belantih cluster. Thirty three students were selected as sample which was determined using random sampling technique. Scientific attitude data were gathered using questionnaire and science learning achievement data were gathered using multiple choice test. Data were analyzed using MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) assisted by SPSS 17.00 for windows. Research results show that: First, scientific attitude of students who followed Community-Science-Technology learning approach was significantly better than students who followed conventional learning. Second, science learning achievement of students who followed community-science-technology learning approach was significantly better than students who followed conventional learning. Third, simultaneously, scientific attitude and science learning achievement of students who followed community-science- technology learning approach was significantly better than students who followed conventional learning. The results of this study are expected to provide information for educational institutions to take appropriate policies, which are related to efforts to develop scientific attitudes and improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build, strengthen, and become the foundation of behavior, traditions, and daily habits at school. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques using the literature review method. The analysis of the model in building religious moderation of the people through the religious culture of the school uses the approach of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The results show that through the creation of a religious atmosphere/culture, exemplary, and habituation will be able to build a moderate learning community.Keywords: Religious Culture, Religious Moderation, School

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi pada hakikatnya merupakan usaha menumbuh kembangkan potensi diri manusia sesuai tatanan nilai masyarakat dan kebudayaan. Potensi diri tersebut mencakup potensi jasman dan rohani yang dikembangan sesuai tujuan pendidikan yang ditunjang dengan kurikulum, pendidik, proses interaktif edukatif menggunakan materi pelajaran. Seluruh proses ini harus ditopang dengan lingkungan pendidikan yang baik sehingga proses pengembangan potensi dapat dicapai sesuai tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan. Pendidikan menjadi indikator pembangunan sumber daya manusia dalam sebuah bangsa. Dengan demikian, maka pendidikan menjadi salah satu bidang terpenting sekaligus strategis dalam pembangunan nasional yang dapat menunjang kualitas hidup serta kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penjaminan mutu pendidikan adalah untaian proses dan sistem yang saling berkaitan untuk mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan melaporkan data tentang kinerja dan mutu pendidik dan tenaga kependidikank lembaga pendidikan. Proses penjaminan mutu mengidentifkasi aspek pencapaian dan prioritas peningkatan, penyediaan data sebagai dasar perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan serta membantu membangun budaya peningkatan mutu berkelanjutan. Penjaminan mutu akan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini adalah dihasilkannya model pendidikan agama hindu berbasis glokalisasi untuk peningkatan mutu siswa SD Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan tipe “Prototipycal Studies. Data dalam penelitian ini akan dikumpulkan dengan: (1) pedoman observasi, (2) pedoman wawancara, (3) kuisioner, (4) pedoman studi dokumen, (5) fokus groups discussion, dan (6) interrater validity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Pertama, Nilai- nilai karakter global yang visibel dan relevan untuk diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan karakter berdasarkan spektrum teori rekonstruksi sosial Vygotsky dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama hindu bagi siswa sekolah dasar kelas V, yaitu: kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokrasi, objektivitas, multikultur, berpikir terbuka, kepedulian sosial, opened culture, pendidikan seks, anti rasisme, anti pelecehan, kesetaraan gender, kepemimpinan, kehormatan diri, kehormatan bangsa dan negara, peduli lingkungan, hak azazi manusia, morality dignity, dan penghargaan pada minoritas. Kedua, rekonstruksi struktur muatan kurikulum pendidikan agama hindu Sekolah Dasar kelas V yaitu: mantram dainika upasana, ahimsa, satya dan tat tvam asi, moksha sebagai tujuan akhir, keharmonisan hidup melalui tri hita karana, catur guru, melihat dan mengenal tempat suci dalam agama hindu, kitab suci veda.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of conflict resolution teaching model towards Hindu Religious’s academic achievement with multicultural attitude and self-efficacy covariable. This quantitative research study was conducted to students of PGSD department in Ganesha University of education using experiment method with Single Factor independent groups design with use of covariate and involved 67 students. Data were analyzed with covariance analysis (ANACOVA). The result this research study shows: 1) there are differences in Hindu Religious’s academic achievement between students who involved in conflict resolution model learning with students who involved in conventional learning. 2) There are differences in Hindu Religious’s academic achievement between students who involved in conflict resolution model learning with students who involved in conventional learning by controlling multicultural attitude. 3) There are differences in Hindu Religious’s academic achievement between students who involved in conflict resolution model learning with students who involved in conventional learning by controlling self-efficacy. 4) There are differences in Hindu Religious’s academic achievement between students who involved in conflict resolution model learning with students who involved in conventional learning by controlling multicultural attitude and self-efficacy simultaneously.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pendekatan starter eksperimen dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung. Mengacu pada permasalahan yang telah dirumuskan, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas V pada Gugus I SD Negeri di Kecamatan Abang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan MANOVA, dapat diambil simpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pendekatan starter eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pengajaran langsung.

Abstract

Selama ini pelaksanaan pendidikan hanya berorientasi pada aspek koginitif (kecerdasan intelektual) siswa, sehingga kecerdasan emosional siswa tidak berkembang dengan baik yang berimplikasi terhadap degradasi moral siswa. kecerdasan emosional adalah kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola emosi yang dimiliki yang dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk bersikap dan berprilaku dengan tepat sesuai dengan kondisi-kondisi tertentu. Ada beberapa aspek kecerdasan emosional yaitu mengenali emosi diri, menglola emosi, memotivasi diri sendiri, mengenal emosi orang lain (empati) dan membina hunungan. Kecerdasan emosional penting untuk di pupuk dan dikembangkan pada siswa di sekolah dasar karena pada usia sekolah dasar emosi anak mudah dibentuk. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional siswa adalah dengan menerapkan pendidkan karakter. Dengan pendidkan karakter siswa di sekolah dasar akan cerdas emosinya serta hasil belajarnya akan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to convey thoughts about the role of Balinese local wisdom in developing character education. Indonesia, which is currently experiencing a degradation of character values as shown by the low manners of teenagers, brawls, cheating culture and the behavior of corrupt officials, illustrates that implementing good education in schools, families and communities does not build the character of this nation. To overcome this problem, one way that can be done is to explore the national character, especially the integration of local Balinese wisdom in implementing education in schools. (a) Local wisdom integrated into character education is: (1) Tumpek Uduh, (2) Tumpek Kandang, (3) tattwan asi, (4) subak, (5) salunglung sebaya taka, (6) asta kosala-kosali, (7) Shanti greetings, (8) Nyepi Day, (9) ngopin, (10) medelokan, (11) resik, (12) menyama beraya, (13) eling, (14) swadharma, and (15) other cultures. (b) Balinese local wisdom can be integrated into character education by: (1) integrating in building school culture, (2) integrating in building class culture, and (3) integrating in learning, both in carrying out education and promoting Balinese culture that appropriate or relevant to the subject matter in learning.Keywords: Character, Balinese Local Wisdom, Elementary School Students

Abstract

This research is aimed at exploring the listening skills processing activity of class I students in SDN 1 Selat and investigating to what extend the processing result of listening skills can be improved through mesatua activities. This study is a classroom action research using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart research model. This study was conducted in 2 cycles with 8 meetings in cycle 1 and 8 meetings in last cycle where every cycle consisted of the following steps: planning, action, observation and reflection. The sample of this study was 21 class I students comprissing of 12 male students and 9 female students. The instruments used in this study was observational sheet of students activities using masatua activities. The data in this study were quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic to compare the result from the first and second cycle. While qualitative data from field notes and interview were analyzed through the following steps: data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of this study depicts that there was the improvement of listening skills through mesatua activities, proven by the listening skills mean score in pre-intervention which was 48,64 % gained 16,17 % improvement to 64,81 % in cycle I and keep increasing the gain into 17,50 % and become 82,31 % in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berupa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan buku siswa kelas IV SD dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation yang valid, praktis dan efektif meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Semua data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) validitas perangkat dikategorikan valid dengan nilai validitas buku siswa 3,17 dan RPP 3,52, (2) kepraktisan perangkat dikategorikan sangat praktis, dengan nilai keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 3,43, rata-rata respon guru 3,71 dan respon siswa 3,54 , (3) perangkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori efektif, dengan rata-rata nilai tes literasi sains 79,54 dan ketuntasan 88,24%.
