Abstract

Abstract: Although the Angke Mosque is a cultural heritage building designated through the Decree of the Governor of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Number 1371 of 2019, in reality until now there have been changes in the shape of the building. This study aims to examine the concepts and values that are still believed in by the community that made changes to the shape of the mosque in relation to the context of cultural heritage buildings. The method used is quasi-qualitative based on the post-positivism paradigm. The observation unit is the building facade elements including stairs, doors, windows, walls, and roofs. The exploration of community values was carried out through interviews with several informants using a butterfly diagram. The study resulted in findings that the community still holds values as the basis for preserving buildings in the form of very strong ties to the shape of the facade components, especially the door and roof elements, so that it can be the basis for preserving the Angke Mosque as a cultural heritage building. Keywords: cultural heritage, concept, facade, mosque, communityAbstrak: Meskipun Masjid Angke merupakan bangunan cagar budaya yang ditetapkan melalui  SK Gubernur Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta Nomor 1371 Tahun 2019, pada kenyataannya sampai sekarang sudah mengalami perubahan-perubahan pada bentuk bangunannya.

Abstract

High-density urban settlements face various challenges, including limited space, poor housing quality, and the lack of open spaces, which require accurate and integrated data to support effective planning. Kelurahan Duri Selatan, DKI Jakarta Province, is characterized by dense settlements and the presence of substandard housing conditions. This community service activity aims to develop a geospatial-based housing database using a by name by address approach to support the improvement of settlement quality. The methods applied include field surveys through direct observation, household interviews, and structured questionnaires, supported by spatial and non-spatial data collection using the Field Maps application. Data validation was conducted through a door-to-door approach and photographic documentation of housing conditions. The results indicate that Kelurahan Duri Selatan has a very high level of settlement density, limited availability of green open space, and the persistence of housing units with inadequate living conditions. Geospatial-based data collection using a Geographic Information System enables detailed and measurable identification of housing and environmental issues. In conclusion, geospatial-based housing data collection provides a strong technical foundation for settlement quality improvement planning and supports more targeted and sustainable decision-making at the local level.
