Abstract

In the modern context, it is important for Muslims to have a concept of monotheism that does not just remain academic but also helps in strengthening one's faith. Nursi introduces two dimensions of monotheism: birth monotheism and true monotheism, both of which aim to nurture faith in everyday life. Understanding both the exoteric and esoteric interpretations of monotheistic verses is crucial. This research delves into Nursi's esoteric approach to Tauḥīd ‘monotheistic’ verses and their impact on Islamic thought. The qualitative research design involves a literature review, gathering data from journals, proceedings, books, and documentaries. The data is analyzed using content analysis techniques, as well as esoteric and historical approaches. The research findings reveal that Nursi's esoteric interpretation of monotheistic verses is in line with other Sufi mufassirs, with two significant differences. Firstly, Nursi's esoteric approach, particularly in tafakkur, offers tangible examples that can be experienced physically. Secondly, as a member of the Naqshbandi Tariqa, Nursi consistently refers to asmā' al-ḥusnā and associates it with manifestations reflected in all entities when interpreting the Qur'an. Nursi's interpretation of monotheistic verses has a strong influence at the international level and a socio-religious impact at the national level. However, his interpretation remains significant in addressing religious matters in Indonesia.

Abstract

Social inequality is prevalent in society, where the rich are on top of their wealth and the poor are on the bottom with their poverty. The concept of philanthropy comes as an answer to this problem. However, the universal concept of philanthropy is used as a tool that can increase social inequality. In the Qur’an, there is the concept of infaq which can be used to overcome social inequality. Sayyid Quthb as a mufassir with his social style has his concept in understanding the concept of infaq in the Qur’an. As a whole concept, the concept of infaq in Sayyid Quthb's view has a coherent relevance to developing the concept of philanthropy. This study also aims to analyze the relevance of the concept of infaq in the Qur’an in Sayyid Quthb's view with the concept of philanthropy, so that the concept of infaq can strengthen the benefits of philanthropy more significantly. The approach used by researchers in this research is a thematic approach which includes library research. The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis. The result of this study is regarding Sayyid Quthb's interpretation of the concept of infaq in the Qur’an which is based on the theological dimension of infaq which is affiliated with a Muslim's devotion to Allah SWT and its form of jihād in fighting lust in humans. This theological dimension has a significant influence on the application of the social dimension of infaq in Sayyid Quthb's view. The theological dimension of the concept of infaq in the form of the principles of devotion and jihad to Allah SWT is the difference between the concept of infaq and the concept of philanthropy. The theological dimension in Sayyid Quthb's Infaq concept becomes a bulwark in the donation of wealth by a Muslim. The concept of philanthropy does not have this defense, so this concept is very easy to include elements that are not by human rights. The social dimension in the concept of infaq according to Sayyid Quthb is a sense of social solidarity that upholds compassion for fellow creations of Allah SWT. Thus, this social dimension can be a link between the concept of infaq in Sayyid Quthb's view and the concept of philanthropy.

Abstract

The father significantly influences the quality of connections within the family unit. Despite bearing considerable duties, his presence frequently goes unrecognized, especially by children. The Qur’an delineates the attributes of an exemplary father through diverse narratives, notably the account of Luqman al-Hakim—a sagacious being endowed with insight by Allah SWT, albeit not a prophet. The narrative, located in Surah Luqman verses 12–19, imparts moral lessons and ideals relevant to modern life. This study investigates the Qur’anic depiction of parenthood through an analysis of Luqman’s counsel to his son, with the objective of elucidating the fundamental characteristics of an exemplary father. The study employs a library-based approach and descriptive analysis, concentrating on Sayyid Qutb's interpretation in Fi Zilal al-Qur'an. Research indicates that Luqman epitomizes the quintessential paternal archetype through four principal responsibilities. Initially, he assumes the role of an educator, fostering his child with affection and comprehension. Secondly, he functions as a sagacious advisor, providing counsel grounded in religious principles. Third, he serves as a role model, somebody whom youngsters might admire and ultimately imitate. Ultimately, he assumes the position of family leader, bearing the duty for the household's spiritual and moral guidance. This research underscores the necessity of acknowledging and revitalizing the father's significant role in familial dynamics, utilizing the narrative of Luqman al-Hakim as a perennial exemplar of fostering responsible and value-oriented parenting.

Abstract

This research is based on the need for an approach to Qur'anic interpretation that is able to answer the spiritual crisis of modern Muslims, amid the dominance of rational-textual interpretations that often ignore the esoteric dimension of revelation. This study aims to examine and evaluate Imran N. Hosein's tafsir methodology in Methodology for the Study of the Qur'an, which offers a paradigm for reading the Qur'an based on spiritual depth, spiritual intuition, and the integration of meaning systems. The method used in this research is library research with a content analysis approach to Hosein's works and other supporting literature. The results of the study show that Hosein emphasizes the importance of purity of soul, daily recitation, direct practice of verses, and the connection of verses in the cosmic structure as prerequisites for a complete understanding. He also rejects the atomistic interpretation approach and calls for the restoration of the authority of revelation as the main epistemic source in Islamic studies. This finding confirms that there are significant contributions related to Hosein's methodology in building a transformative, integrative and contextual Qur'anic interpretation, while challenging the dominant legalistic and secularistic paradigm in contemporary Qur'anic studies. Imran Hosein has presented a new method of understanding the Qur'an as a form of self-purification, moral commitment and openness to the inner light of revelation. His approach mediates between the spiritual traditions of classical Islam and the ethical-transformative needs of people in the modern era.

Abstract

Purpose: This program aims to create a culture of environmental awareness from an early age in response to environmental issues that impact human security, such as global warming and climate change. Methodology/approach: This service applies discussion, FGD, and enrichment methods, as well as practicum with a character-building approach. Measuring indicators of program success is carried out through pre-test, post-test, and assessment from the affective and psychomotor side. Results/findings: Clustering of partner problems in the fields of knowledge and skills, then developing activity steps in the form of: a. Program socialization, b. FGD related to partner problems, c. Discussion of solutions offered; d Implementation of environmental awareness culture mentoring programs from an early age; e Program enrichment through innovative learning media in the form of thematic books and practice outside the classroom; and f. Monitoring and evaluating service programs, and optimizing service targets. Conclusions: Creativity in learning methods and innovation in learning media are needed to create a culture of environmental awareness from an early age as an effort to realize environmental security based on the 13th and 15th SDG. Limitations: Environmentally conscious cultural activities are only focused on young children, especially TK/PAUD Dharma Wanita Brubuh 02. Contribution: Creating innovative learning media about environmental conservation according to the age of students to increase awareness of young children about the importance of protecting and preserving the surrounding environment in an effort to realize the 13th SDG (Climate Action) and the 15th SDG (life on earth).

Abstract

Indonesia dikenal sebagai Negara Agraris, akan tetapi penggunaan pupuk kimia (anorganik) terus dilakukan oleh petani. Pupuk kimia dinilai lebih menyuburkan tanaman dan efektif dalam penggunaan yang sedikit dibandingkan pupuk organik. Upaya alternatif untuk menyelesaikan solusi tersebut ialah dengan peralihan penggunaan pupuk kimia ke pupuk organik. Pupuk organik Cair (POC) adalah pupuk organik yang berwujud cair yang dibuat bersumber dari bahan organik melalui proses fermentasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dalam bentuk Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) acara kegiatan di Kecamatan Jogorogo yang dilaksanakan pada 08 Maret 2024 di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian. Mitra sasaran pada kegiatan ini merupakan Gabungan Kelompok Tani Kecamatan Jogorogo, Kabupaten Ngawi. POC merupakan salah satu jenis pupuk yang dapat diaplikasikan ke tanaman yang berbentuk cairan. POC adalah pupuk yang dibuat secara alami melalui proses fermentasi sehingga menghasilkan larutan yang berasal dari pembusukan sisa tanaman, maupun kotoran hewan atau manusia.

Abstract

Pelatihan Juru Sembelih Halal (JULEHA) memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan proses penyembelihan hewan sesuai dengan prinsip halal dan standar kesejahteraan hewan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta mengenai pemahaman islam dan keterampilan penyembelihan melalui kombinasi pemaparan teori dan praktik langsung. Materi pelatihan mencakup fiqih qurban, prinsip penyembelihan halal-thayyib, evaluasi kualitas hewan potong, serta manajemen penyembelihan yang efisien. Dalam praktiknya, peserta mempelajari teknik menjatuhkan hewan dengan metode yang meminimalkan stres, memastikan posisi hewan yang optimal sebelum penyembelihan, serta melakukan penyembelihan sesuai dengan ketentuan syariat Islam dan regulasi halal nasional. Dokumentasi kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis teori dan praktik dapat meningkatkan kompetensi juru sembelih halal dalam menjalankan tugasnya secara profesional. Pelatihan ini juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas penyembelihan di masyarakat, sehingga mendukung penyediaan daging yang aman, sehat, utuh, dan halal (ASUH). Dengan adanya program ini, kesadaran dan kepatuhan terhadap standar halal semakin meningkat, serta memperkuat sistem sertifikasi juru sembelih halal di tingkat lokal maupun nasional.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pendampingan program asrama di Universitas Darussalam Gontor sebagai bagian dari Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) tahun 2024. UNIDA Gontor, sebagai universitas pesantren, mengintegrasikan sistem kepesantrenan dalam pendidikan formal, menjadikan asrama sebagai elemen penting. Pendampingan ini bertujuan membantu principal dalam mengelola program asrama secara efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang mencakup identifikasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Hasilnya, tersusun 21 program asrama yang mendukung aspek tempat tinggal, interaksi sosial, dan pendidikan mahasiswa. Evaluasi menunjukkan program berjalan dengan baik, meskipun masih ditemukan kendala dalam konseling mahasiswa. Sebagai tindak lanjut, pendampingan akan diperpanjang dan diperluas ke aspek konseling dan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

The quarter-life crisis is now widely experienced across various groups, characterized by identity crises, decreased self-esteem, social pressure, confusion about life goals, and uncertainty about the future. This condition has a direct impact on weakening self-esteem and self-resilience as the foundation of psychological health. However, existing studies are still dominated by a secular-psychological approach and relatively ignore the perspective of the Quran as a source of psychospiritual strengthening. Therefore, this study seeks to systematically examine the concepts of self-esteem and self-resilience in the Quran as an alternative psychospiritual approach to responding to the quarter-life crisis. The method used in this study is a literature review, with a maudhu'i interpretation approach, namely compiling Quranic verses relevant to the themes of self-esteem and self-resilience. Data were obtained from books, journals, proceedings, magazines, and scientific articles, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques that include the stages of compare, contrast, and critique. The study results show that the Quran builds self-esteem through affirming human dignity, rejecting social comparison as a measure of self-worth, and encouraging resilience and recovery from grief. These values form a healthy self-evaluation framework and serve as psychological protection against the identity crisis of the quarter-life crisis. Furthermore, Quranic self-resilience is built through the internalization of the values ​​of patience, trust (relief), gratitude, and istiqamah (steadfastness), which are integrated into psychospiritual resilience. These values enable individuals to adapt constructively, manage anxiety, and maintain a sense of meaning amid existential pressures. The Quran emphasizes that human worth is not solely determined by worldly achievements, but by a transcendent, divine dimension.

Abstract

Program kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai tauhid sejak dini melalui penerapan model edukasi kreatif berbasis tadabbur alam pada anak-anak TPA Al-Husna, Mantingan, Ngawi, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan ini merespons kurangnya kegiatan edukasi yang kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran, karena hanya berfokus kepada baca-tulis dan hafalan Al-Qu’ran, sehingga pemahaman tauhid anak cenderung bersifat abstrak dan kurang kontekstual. Menggunakan metode edukatif-partisipatif dengan desain deskriptif-reflektif, kegiatan ini dilakukan selama enam minggu yang melibatkan 50 anak sebagai peserta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman nilai-nilai tauhid yang signifikan. Pada tahap pre-test hanya 44% anak yang memiliki pemahaman baik, setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran tadabbur alam, persentase meningkat menjadi 92% pada tahap post-test. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tauhid yang mengintegrasikan pengalaman langsung dengan alam mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan reflektif anak terhadap nilai-nilai ketauhidan, termasuk pemaknaan terhadap ayat-ayat kauniyah. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran keagamaan pada anak berbasis tadabbur alam efektif dan relevan untuk diterapkan pada lembaga pendidikan nonformal.
