Abstract

Giant merupakan gerai yang menjual berbagai produk makanan, minuman dan barang kebutuhan lainnya tersedia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen sehari-hari. Maraknya keberadaan supermarket di Medan membuat pihak manajemen ingin melakukan kebijakan-kebijakan untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Salah satu kebijakannya dengan merancang discount untuk pembelian suatu kombinasi produk tertentu. Untuk melakukan hal tersebut harus diketahui kombinasi produk apa yang diminati oleh pelanggan, salah satu caranya dengan teknik asosiasi menggunakan Algoritma Apriori untuk menghasilkan aturan-aturan asosiasi. Aturan asosiasi ini akan memberikan informasi mengenai kombinasi produk yang diminati oleh pelanggan, sehingga pihak manajemen dapat melakukan kebijakan-kebijakan untuk menarik para pelanggan berbelanja di supermarketnya. Kata kunci: Data Mining, aturan asosiasi, Algoritma Apriori. Abstract Giant is an outlet that sells a variety of food, beverage and other necessities available to meet the daily needs of consumers. The rise of supermarkets in Medan has made the management want to implement policies to increase sales. One of the policies is to design a discount for the purchase of a certain product combination. To do this, it must be known what product combination the customer is interested in, one of the ways is the association technique using the Apriori Algorithm to generate association rules. The association's rules will provide information on product combinations that are of interest to customers, so that management can carry out policies to attract customers to shop at their supermarkets.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study,entitled “Consistency of Simplex Method to Determine the Optimum value”. This study aims to show how Consistency Simplex Method in Determining the Optimum Value. The data used in this research is secondary data, the data is data that has optimum completion. To obtain solutions that provide optimum value in this study first conducted by registering all possible solutions and then look for the most optimum value of all possible solutions. Furthermore, the linear programming problem will be solved using the simplex method. The study begins from assessing the optimal solution concepts in general, the next step Simplex method described step by step. Every step of the Simplex method were analyzed through observation to check whether the results meet the criteria Optimum. From the first step in formulating the problem of linear programming in the form of ready simplex, then enter an equation into a table simplex early, determine the key column, row lock and key numbers to the stage of checking solutions dieroleh table simplex, simplex method shows that each stage that passed by consistent to a point. The destination point in this case is the point that gives the optimum value. In this study, there were three cases of maximization and minimization three cases were solved by the simplex method, and from the obtained solution simplex method consistently deliver value really optimum for each case.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Sinar Sosro yang merupakan produsen dan distributor minuman teh siap saji yang terkemuka di Indonesia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pendistribusian produk pada PT. Sinar Sosro Medan dengan menggunakan metode MODI. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan model North West Corner (NWC) untuk memperoleh solusi awal, kemudian menggunakan model MODI untuk memperoleh solusi akhir. Data yang diperoleh dari PT. Sinar Sosro dianalisis dengan menggunakan implementasi Modified Distribution (MODI).  Pendistribusian produk ke tiap kota yang optimal adalah Teh Botol ke Medan sebanyak 338 krat,Teh Botol ke Binjai sebanyak 1139 krat, Teh Botol ke Lubuk Pakam sebanyak 656 krat, Teh Botol ke Tebing Tinggi sebanyak 135 krat, Fruit Tea ke Medan sebanyak 551 krat, Fruit Tea ke Kabanjahe sebanyak 547 krat dan TEBS ke Tebing Tinggi sebanyak 571 krat. Dari hasil penelitian dan perhitungan diperoleh hasil bahwa penerapan model transportasi distribusi dengan menggunakan model NWC dan MODI mampu mengoptimalkan pendistribusian produk pada PT. Sinar Sosro. Kata kunci: NWC, MODI.ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at PT. Sosro beam which is a manufacturer and distributor of ready-to-drink tea in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to optimize the distribution of the product on the PT.  Sosro Sinar Medan using MODI. The analytical methods  used is to use the model of the North West Corner (NWC) to  obtain an initial solution, then use the model MODI to obtain  a final solution. Data obtained from PT. Sosro rays were analyzed using Modified implementation Distribution (MODI). Product distribution to each city is the optimal Tea Bottle to field as many as 338 crates, Tea Bottle to Binjai as many as 1139 crates, Tea Bottle to Lubukpakam 656 crates, Tea Bottle to High Cliff 135 Crates, Fruit Tea to field as many as 551 crates, fruit Tea to Kabanjahe many as 547 crates and Tebs to Tebing Tinggi many as 571 crates. From the research and calculations showed that the application of the distribution transportation model using the model of the NWC and MODI is able to optimize the distribution of the product on the PT. Sosro rays.Keywords: NWC, MODI.

Abstract

Abstract: The quality and quantity of both ground and surface water in Belawan Area have deteriorated in the recent years. Despite of the loss, this could become opportunities for PDAM to get customers since there are not many choices left for the community. High economic growth allows the rising of community’s willingness to pay, especially for basic needs such as water. As a consequence of the increasing customers, PDAM has to maintain its services. Evaluation and customer satisfaction’s analysis are absolutely needed to be held regularly. Through this evaluation, PDAM will be able to arrange some strategies to maintain its existing customers and at the same time trying to draw more new customers. In this research, data analysis will employ Fuzzy MADM TOPSIS Method using structured questionnaire. The intended result of the study has a conclution that the customer satisfaction of the service quality PDAM Tirtanadi Belawan have gratified because the highest preference value that gratified alternative has 0.8194. From the 14th criteria of customer satisfaction that very gratifying is the courtesy, service security, that gratified is the service procedure, service conditions, clarity service, ability, justice, expense equity, expense certainty, environment freshmen, that enough gratify is discipline, responsibility, service speed, schedule certainty. The quality of service PDAM Tirtanadi Belawan is good.Keywords: Fuzzy MADM TOPSIS Method, Customer satisfaction, Service Quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students 'spatial mathematical abilities in terms of Van Hiele's thinking stages in problem-based learning models, as well as to find out the number of difficult indicators of students' mathematical spatial abilities in terms of Van Hiele's thinking stages in problem-based learning models. Researchers are the main research instrument, data obtained through several previous studies or journals about research on students' spatial abilities in terms of van hiele's thinking stages in problem-based learning. This study uses the analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. Data analysis activities, namely data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The subjects in this study were journal articles on the analysis of students' spatial abilities in terms of van hiele's thinking stages in problem-based learning. The object of this research is the provision of a problem-based learning process. Based on the results of the study, there are students with high spatial abilities who have exploratory thinking processes, methodical thinking, analogical thinking, abstract thinking, synthesis, serendipity, and recycling ideas, students with high spatial abilities also have high imagination, students with spatial abilities are having a process exploratory thinking, serendipity, analogical thinking, semi-abstract thinking, and recycling of ideas and having moderate imagination, as well as students with low spatial abilities in understanding problems using exploratory, analogical, semi-abstract, synthesis thinking processes and have low imagery.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal system is a system used to assess the best performance of employees. PT Graha Prima Medan performs the best performance assessment of employees to evaluate, verify and improve their performance. The results of this performance become a decision-making tool such as promotion, dismissal, transfer, intensive giving or providing feedback for employees. However, the large number of employees who will be selected becomes an obstacle in assessing employee performance, because it is expected that an automation process uses technology to evaluate the performance of these employees. The purpose of this study is to design an employee performance appraisal system at PT Graha Prima Mentari Medan. The method used is the SAW method, the basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The SAW method can help decision making to form the largest value as the best alternative. The assessment in the research that has been carried out uses 5 criteria including: Attendance, Attitude, Time Discipline, Working Period and Quantity using the SAW method. In this study, testing was carried out on 36 respondent data. The employee performance appraisal system was developed using the PHP (Pre-Hypertext Processor) programming language, and the MySQL database as the database server.

Abstract

PT Graha Prima Mentari is a company engaged in the service sector, namely as the official distributor of Coca-Cola. PT. Graha Prima Mentari has Distribution Centers spread across various cities including those located in the cities of Cirebon, Indramayu, Tasikmalaya, Pekanbaru, Medan, Denpasar, Rembang and others. For branches in the city of Medan PT. Graha Prima Mentari is located at Jalan Gatot Subroto KM 6.7 No. 100 Fields. PT. Graha Prima Mentari has 13 transportation cars that operate from Monday to Saturday and serve 6 areas, namely Medan Barat, Medan Sunggal, Medan Helvetia, Medan Selayang, Medan Tuntungan and Medan Petisah.The problem that occurs is that the company has not determined the optimal route which results in additional costs for the distribution of goods. This study aims to minimize the distance by using the ant colony optimization method. The result obtained is that the distribution distance is reduced by 52 km from the previous distance of 93.1 km to 41.1 km and saves distribution costs of Rp.49,000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh dari variabel-variabel kecenderungan gaya berpikir (lateral dan vertikal) dan cara menganalisis data mahasiswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan program excel, program SPSS, dan cara manual terhadap variabel terikat yaitu hasil perkuliahan Evaluasi Hasil Belajar Matematika. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan ini adalah dengan melakukan penelitian eksperimen. Variabel terikat adalah hasil perkuliahan Evaluasi Hasil Belajar Matematika dan variabel bebas adalah teknik analisis data tes yang terdiri dari penerapan pemakaian program excel, program SPSS, dan perhitungan secara manual. Variabel bebas atribut adalah kecenderungan gaya berpikir mahasiswa yang terdiri dari gaya berpikir lateral dan vertikal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh gambaran, bahwa metode perkuliahan menggunakan program excel, program SPSS, dan cara manual, memberikan hasil yang berbeda secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Bahkan perbedaan ini terlihat juga jika diterapkan pada mahasiswa yang memiliki kecenderungan berfikir vertikal, namun tidak memberikan hasil yang berbeda jika diterapkan pada mahasiswa yang memiliki kecenderungan berfikir lateral.Kata kunci: berfikir lateral, berfikir vertikal, hasil kuliah, manual, penggunaan komputer.

Abstract

This study offers a new technique for constructing percentile bootstrap intervals to predict the regression of univariate local polynomials. Bootstrap regression uses resampling derived from paired and residual bootstrap methods. The main objective of this study is to perform a comparative analysis between the two resampling methods by considering the nominal coverage probability. Resampling uses a nonparametric bootstrap technique with the return method, where each sample point has an equal chance of being selected. The principle of nonparametric bootstrapping uses the original sample data as a source of diversity in contrast to parametric bootstrapping, where the variety comes from generating a particular distribution. The simulation results show that the paired and residual bootstrap interval coverage probabilities are close to nominal coverage. The results showed no significant difference between paired bootstrap interval and percentile residual. Increasing the bootstrap sample size sufficiently large gives the scatterplot smoothness of the confidence interval. Applying the smoothing parameter by choice gives a second-order polynomial regression with a smoother distribution than the first-order polynomial regression. The scatterplot shows that the second-degree polynomial regression can capture the data curvature feature compared to the first-degree polynomial. The bands made from second-degree polynomials give a narrower width than first-degree polynomials. In contrast, applying optimal smoothing parameters to the model provides different conclusions by using smoothing parameters based on choice. In addition to the differences based on the scatterplot, the bootstrap estimates of the coverage probability are also other. Selecting smoothing parameters based on a particular value provides probability coverage with the paired bootstrap method for the first-degree local polynomial regression is 0.93, while the second-degree local polynomial is 0.96. The probability of coverage based on the residual bootstrap method for the first-degree local polynomial regression is 0.95, while the second-degree local polynomial is 0.96. The probability coverage based on the optimal parameters of the paired bootstrap method for the first-degree local polynomial regression is 0.945, while the second-degree local polynomial is 0.93. The residual bootstrap method gives the first-degree local polynomial regression of 0.95, while the second-degree local polynomial is 0.93. In general, both bootstrap methods work well for estimating prediction confidence intervals.

Abstract

Perbaikan pembelajaran berkelanjutan diperlukan guru yang dapat dilakukan melalui publikasi hasil penelitian. Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa guru masih sedikit menulis artikel hasil penelitian disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengalaman menulis artikel ilmiah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka Universitas Negeri Medan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru menulis artikel ilmiah melalui pengubahan hasil penelitian menjadi artikel ilmiah standar yang siap dikirimkan ke Jurnal Ilmiah. Kegiatan dilakukan melibatkan 83 guru dari 23 kabupaten dan Kota mitra kerjasama. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi (1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru menulis artikel ilmiah, (2) Mempersiapkan materi pelatihan sesuai kharakteristik guru, (3) Melatihan dan mendampingi guru mengubah laporan penelitian tindakan kelas menjadi artikel, dan (4) Mengukur  kompetensi guru menyelesaikan draft artikel. Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilakukan dengan baik secara online agar dapat menjangkau  Guru di berbagai wilayah Sumatra Utara. Tahap awal adalah pembekalan dan pengayaan teori menulis artikel melalui penyampaian tujuh paket modul pelatihan. Tahap lanjutan adalah pendampingan menyelesaikan draft artikel selama satu bulan sesuai kemampuan dan motivasi peserta. Sebanyak 83 guru menyelesaikan pelatihan awal, sebanyak 49 guru melanjutkan pendampingan, 9 guru menyelesaikan draft artikel, dan 5 judul artikel sudah submit di Jurnal ilmiah.
