Abstract

The Community Partnership Program that we propose is expected to help communities and farmer groups in Karang Jaya Village in the production, business management and marketing of liquid organic fertilizer, compost and paitan leaf organic pesticides (Tithonia diversifolia). To create business opportunities, training and assistance is given to farmer groups in production, business management and marketing of liquid organic fertilizers, organic pesticides and paitan leaf compost. The activities that we undertake to achieve these objectives are by using methods of observation, socialization, training and continued with direct practice and assistance in production, business management and product marketing. The results of the Community Partnership Program that have been implemented are partners having knowledge about the dangers of using chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides for health and the environment, knowing the business opportunities of paitan plants by processing them into liquid organic fertilizer, organic pesticides and compost. Partners also have the knowledge and skills in creating, packaging, marketing and managing business products that are produced. Availability of supporting tools that will facilitate partners in producing liquid organic fertilizer, organic pesticides and compost.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program that we propose is expected to help the Cawang Baru Village community in general and the Adelia IRT group in particular in the manufacture and marketing of natural Growth Stimulating Substances (PGR). Cawang Baru Village located in Selupu Rejang District is an agricultural area that produces many types of agricultural crop commodities. Besides these facts, there is also a lot of people who love flowers, especially mothers. So far, farmers and ornamental plant hobbyists in Cawang Village are new to cultivating or multiplying plants in addition to using fertilizers but also using PGR sold in the market, the price of manufactured PGR in the market is quite expensive and a little difficult to find in conventional agricultural shops because of its low content naturally can have a negative effect on the environment. Considering the costs involved in buying chemical PGR and its negative impact on the environment, making your own PGR by utilizing natural materials that are around is the right solution to deal with the problem of costs and environmental impacts. To achieve this goal, we used the method of observation, socialization, training and continued with direct practice. The long-term goal of this activity is to create business opportunities for the PKK Adelia group by utilizing natural materials as PGR whose existence is needed by farmers and ornamental plant hobbyists. The output targets of the activity are (1) increasing partners' knowledge, skills and income, (2) producing natural PGR products. Publication output target: service results published in community service journals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ratio of storability and organoleptic test of Natural Ingredients used to preserve wet noodles. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The object of this research is wet noodles mixed with carrot juice, pampkin juice and turmeric juice. Data were collected through observation of shelf life for 8 days storage and organoleptic test against 50 panel of consumption panel. The result of the research shows that there is a comparison of storage power of each added juice. The conclusion of this research is the treatment with the longest shelf life that is for 8 day that is wet noodle which is added with carrot juice (P1), while for the fastest storage which is wet noodle is treatment P0 (control) for 1 day. The results of organoleptic test from wet noodles to the most acceptable power are wet noodles with the addition of pumpkin juice (P2).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the growth and productivity of the pagoda (Brassica narinosa) mustard fertilized using Eichornia crassipes and liquid vegetable organic fertilizer. The type of research used was an experiment with a complete randomized design (CRD) using 4 treatments and 6 replications. The respective treatments were: (P0) negative control, (P1) positive control, (P2) POC water hyacinth, and (P3) POC vegetable waste. The tools used in this study are: Polybags, small shovels, rulers, shovels, cameras, and buckets. The materials used in this study are: mustard pagoda plant seeds, vegetable waste, water hyacinth, EM4, NPK fertilizer, livestock manure, sugar, water and soil. This research is divided into two stages. The first stage is the process of making POC. The second stage is testing the effectiveness of POC on mustard pagoda plants. The results of the study data were analyzed by one-factor ANAVA using SPSS 16 and continued using the LSD test at the 5% level. The results showed that there was a difference in growth and productivity of mustard pagoda plants (Brassica narinosa) fertilized using water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) liquid organic fertilizer and vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer and the best was found in P3 treatment (vegetable waste POC). Abstract

This study aims to determine the types, diversity index, species evenness index, dominance index, and relative density of macroscopic fungi in the Waterfall area of ​​Curug Embun, Marga Bakti Village, North Lubuklinggau District I. This research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study using the roaming method with sampling using purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis of the macroscopic fungal diversity index in the Curug Embun Waterfall area were 1.3530, the species evenness index was 0.4516, the dominance index was 0.4776 and the highest relative density was 68.027%. There are 3 edible species and 17 non-edible mushrooms. 17 species of macroscopic mushrooms in the Waterfall area of ​​Curug Embun were found. The diversity index, dominance, and Simpson index are in the medium category. Schizophyllum commune is the most commonly found species.

Abstract

Desa Payo Lebar merupakan desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Sarolangun Jambi Provinsi Jambi dimana salah satu mata pencaharian masyarakatnya adalah produksi Tempe. Proses produksi tempe memerlukan banyak air yang digunakan untuk perendaman, perebusan, pencucian, serta pengupasan kulit kedelai. Hasil akhir dari proses pengolahan tersebut berupa limbah yang menimbulkan bau tidak sedap sebagai hasil sampingan dari proses fermentasi limbah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan kepada masyarakat di Desa Payo Lebar untuk mengolah limbah tempe menjadi pupuk cair. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi, pemberian pengetahuan awal, dan tahap pemberian pelatihan kepada masayarakat tentang pengolahan limbah tempe menjadi pupuk cair. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diketahui bahwa masyarakat dapat mengolah limbah tempe menjadi pupuk cair yang dibuktikan dengan 97% masyarakat mengetahui alat dan bahan serta prosedur kerja untuk mengolahnya. Simpulan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pengolahan limbah yang baik dan benar akan menghasilkan produk yang berguna untuk kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Many students have not yet completed the science learning process, so there is no need for students to take part in the improvement program to meet the Minimum completion criteria. The purpose of this study was to analyze the science learning outcomes of VIII-grade students of Air Setan Middle School through the Problem Based Learning model. The design of this study used a design that was created pretest-posttest Group Design. Samples are taken at random (simple random sampling). Data collection techniques using essay questions, this test is done twice, namely before (pre-test) and followed (post-test) learning process. Data analysis techniques using the t-test, in using this t-test, both the experimental class and the control class data must be normal and have a homogeneous variant that is tested for normality and homogeneity before testing the hypothesis with the t-test. Learning outcomes using problem-based learning are better because this learning involves students solving problems, by means of their creative ideas and ideas, so students do not easily forget the lessons they have learned

Abstract

This community service (PKM) aims to provide training to local residents in the manufacture and marketing of processed sorting oranges into dodol, sweets, and tea. Sortir oranges are a type of orange that has good quality and the price is relatively cheaper than ordinary oranges. Therefore, the processing of sorted oranges into value-added processed products such as dodol, sweets and tea can increase the economic value for local residents. This service was carried out in Karang Jaya Village, Selupu Rejang District. After being implemented, this PKM succeeded in providing benefits to the surrounding community. The procedures that have been carried out use the method of observation, socialization, training and continued with direct practice. Local residents who have participated in the training have succeeded in producing quality sorted orange processed products and successfully marketing them effectively. This can be seen from the increase in the income of local residents and the increase in consumer buying interest in processed orange sorting products. The outputs of the activity are (1) the partners' knowledge, skills and income increase, (2) produce sorted orange processed products in the form of dodol, sweets and tea. Thus, training in the manufacture and marketing of processed sorted oranges into dodol, sweets and tea has a positive impact on increasing the income, knowledge and skills of the local community. This is expected to provide long-term benefits for the community and strengthen the local economy.

Abstract

Influenza is a contagious respiratory disease caused by the influenza virus, a sudden respiratory illness (acute respiratory illness) characterized by fever, sore throat, cough, and body malaise (restlessness). The disease spreads rapidly among people of all ages and causes large outbreaks or rapid outbreaks of infectious diseases (epidemic). Generally, the treatment of influenza uses synthetic drugs, but long-term use will have an impact on damage to other organs in the body. Therefore, one way to minimize the side effects of synthetic drugs is to use plants with potential anti-influenza. One of the Sumber Harta Subdistricts which still has land potential and the presence of abundant plants is Sumber Harta Subdistrict. The method used in this research is roaming with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study it was found that the number of plants found in Sumber Harta District was 20 species from 13 families of Anti-Influenza medicinal plants. The parts of the medicinal plants used by the people of Sumber Harta District amounted to 7 parts consisting of tubers, rhizomes, roots, stems, leaves, fruit. , and flowers, as well as the method of processing plants by the people of Sumber Harta District totaling 7 boiled, blended, grated, pounded, eaten directly, brewed and squeezed.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memfasilitasi siswa dalam melatih numerasi melalui workshop teknik berhitung cepat metode tracterberg. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada seluruh siswa SMP IT Miftahul Jannah Kecamatan Selupu Rejang Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Metode pelaksanaan workshop ini melalui ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi dan tanyajawab. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan angket respon peserta. Tahapan pelaksanaan dimulai dari persiapan, pelatihan dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh N- Gain sebesar 0,85 menunjukkan peningkatan bahwa pemahaman peserta termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 45,5 dan nilai rata-rata postest sebesar 89,5. Selisih cukup signifikan sebesar 44, sehinga nilai postest lebih unggul dibandingkan nilai postest. Selanjutnya nilai tafsiran efektivitas N-Gain menunjukan nilai persentase sebesar 81% dengan kategori efektif. Kegiatan workshop berhitung cepat dengan metode trachternberg ini ini efektif dan memberikan dampak positif dalam melatih kemampuan dasar berhitung cepat para siswa dan menumbuhkan minat belajar matematika siswa.
