Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di SD Santa Thomas 5 Medan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan mengajarkan bagaimana cara berkomunikasi yang baik dengan orang sekitar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah dengan psikoedukasi yang di ikuti oleh siswa/i kelas 6 SD. pendekatan psikoedukasi yang diberikan pada kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini merupakan penggabungan beberapa metode diantaranya penyampaian materi melalui ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab, bermain peran cara berkomunikasi yang baik dan games terkait komunikasi. Adapun bahan yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai pemahaman siswa-siswa terhadap kegiatan psikoedukasi berkomunikasi yang baik adalah dengan wawancara dan observasi yang dimodifikasi melalui kegiatan games dan kuis.Hasil yang didapatkan dari Psikoedukasi yaitu membantu siswa yang mengalami kendala untuk berinteraksi sosial, sehingga lebih mudah memahami komunikasi yang baik, karena kegitan bersifat interaktif dan aplikatif serta membantu siswa/i memahami cara berkomunikasi yang baik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menginvestigasi keterkaitan antara Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kemandirian dalam Penyelesaikan Masalah. Subjek yang terdapat didalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Gen Z di PT X Medan yang berjumlah 120 orang yang berusia 18-29 tahun. Pada pengambilan teknik sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penggunaan metode Skala Likert dalam pengumpulan data dan dibagikan kepada subjek penelitian dan diperlukan analisis dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linier berganda. Hipotesis mayor menunjukkan hasil analisis ada pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kemandirian terhadap Penyelesaian Masalah dengan nilai F= 184.038 dan sig. = 0.000 (p0.005). Hipotesis minor yang menunjukkan hasil analisis yaitu adanya keterkaitan hubungan antara Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Penyelesaian Masalah (p = 0.001 (p0.005) dan β = 0.234) dan hubungan antara Kemandirian terhadap Penyelesaian Masalah (p = 0.000 (p0.05) dan β = 0.678). Uji asumsi terhadap penelitian ini menggunakan uji multikolinearitas, uji autokorelasi, uji normalitas dan uji heterokedastisitas. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kemandirian secara simultan memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 75.5% dan 24.5% dipengaruhi faktor lainnya.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menguji adanya hubungan antara kematangan karir dan efikasi diri terhadap siswa di SMA Swasta Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan pada penelitian ini adalah “terdapat hubungan positif antara efikasi diri dengan kematangan karir pada siswa di SMA Swasta Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Medan”. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 233 siswa SMA Swasta Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo, yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan skala untuk efikasi diri dan kematangan karir. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan uji asumsi yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linearitas serta analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan memanfaatkan software IBM SPSS Statistics 26 for Windows. Dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, mendapatkan koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0.520 dengan Sig = 0.000 (p 0.05), maka berarti semakin tinggi efikasi diri pada siswa, maka semakin tinggi kematangan karier-nya. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah efikasi diri pada siswa, maka semakin rendah kematangan karier-nya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the association between employee engagement and perceived organizational support within the employee population. The study employed a purposive sampling method, involving a total of 99 participants as both the population and sample. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-type scale to measure participant responses. To analyze the data, both the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and additional statistical techniques were utilized with the assistance of SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The results of the hypothesis testing revealed a strong positive relationship exists between perceived organizational support and employee engagement, as indicated by the correlation coefficient (r = 0.815) and significance level (p = 0.000; p < 0.05). These findings suggest that an increase in employee engagement is generally associated with a higher perception of organizational support, and conversely, lower engagement tends to align with reduced perceived support.

Abstract

Work stress and emotional intelligence were crucial factors in determining individual performance dynamics in various environments, especially in work and academic contexts. High levels of work stress negatively impacted individual well-being, while emotional intelligence played a role in effectively managing pressure. This study aimed to analyze the influence of work stress and emotional intelligence on the dependent variable to understand how these two factors interacted in shaping individual responses to pressure. This study used a quantitative approach with regression analysis to identify the relationship between the examined variables. The results showed that work stress had a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, while emotional intelligence had a negative and significant influence. Individuals with high levels of work stress tended to experience an increase in the dependent variable, whereas individuals with high emotional intelligence were better able to manage pressure and reduce its impact on the dependent variable. The implications of this study emphasized the importance of organizational strategies in managing work stress and enhancing emotional intelligence to create a healthier and more productive environment in both the workplace and academic settings, as well as opening opportunities for further research by adding other relevant variables. Stres kerja dan kecerdasan emosional menjadi faktor krusial dalam menentukan dinamika kinerja individu di berbagai lingkungan terutama dalam konteks pekerjaan dan akademik. Tingginya tingkat stres kerja berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan individu sedangkan kecerdasan emosional berperan dalam mengelola tekanan secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap variabel dependen guna memahami bagaimana kedua faktor tersebut berinteraksi dalam membentuk respons individu terhadap tekanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan stres kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel dependen sedangkan kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan. Individu dengan tingkat stres kerja tinggi cenderung mengalami peningkatan dalam variabel dependen sedangkan individu dengan kecerdasan emosional tinggi lebih mampu mengelola tekanan dan mengurangi dampaknya terhadap variabel dependen. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi organisasi dalam mengelola stres kerja dan meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional untuk menciptakan lingkungan lebih sehat dan produktif baik di dunia kerja maupun dalam setting akademik serta membuka peluang penelitian lanjutan dengan menambahkan variabel lain yang relevan.

Abstract

High school students aged 15–18 are in the late adolescence phase and face various challenges in making career decisions, such as pursuing higher education, entering the workforce, or doing both. However, many students experience uncertainty due to low self-confidence, lack of understanding of their interests and talents, and limited experience. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making among students at Global Prima National Plus School. Using a quantitative correlational approach with a population of 140 students and a saturated sampling technique, data were collected through a Likert scale and analyzed using Pearson correlation with the help of SPSS 27. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making (r = 0.488, p < 0.000). Self-efficacy contributes 23.8% to career decision-making ability, while the remaining 76.2% is influenced by other factors. All respondents demonstrated a high level of career decision-making ability. In conclusion, self-efficacy plays an important role in career decision-making, although other factors such as environment, skills, and personality also have an impact. Enhancing self-efficacy can support students in making better career decisions.

Abstract

Not many studies have examined differences in anxiety in facing the world of work based on gender, specifically in vocational students. Previous research has conducted several studies on anxiety in vocational students. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in the level of anxiety of vocational students towards the world of work based on their gender. The number of samples in this study was 233 students, of which 173 were male and 60 were female. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique and anxiety scale used to collect data. Data processing in this study uses a normality test and homogeneity test, and data analysis using a T-test by applying IBM SPSS Statistics software version 25. The results of data analysis in the T-test show a significance level value of .737(>.05), which means that there is no difference in the level of anxiety in vocational school students in facing the world of work based on gender, which means H0 is accepted, and H1 is rejected. The results of our study indicate that gender-based anxiety in the world of work in men emphasizes the abilities they have while women emphasize feelings.

Abstract

In the workforce, proactive behavior has rapidly developed into a standard practice. This guideline refers to an individual's ability to take initiative, act before problems arise, and adapt to changes, which can be reflected in employee performance. The aim of this study is to identify the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and employee performance at PT Maju Bersama. The study used a sample of 105 employees from PT Maju Bersama. A quantitative approach was the research method applied. The analysis results showed that the Pearson correlation value obtained was 0.597, with a significance level (p-value) of 0.000 (p<0.05). These results indicate a significant positive relationship, suggesting a strong and meaningful connection between these variables. Additionally, the study noted that the coefficient of determination for the OCB variable towards performance was 0.356, indicating that OCB contributes 35.6% to performance.

Abstract

The study explores the connection between OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) and job satisfaction among employees at PT. MASS, highlighting that employees with higher job satisfaction are more likely to exhibit proactive behaviors consistent with OCB. Using a quantitative research method, the analysis reveals a Pearson correlation value of 0.349 and a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), demonstrating a statistically significant relationship between job satisfaction and OCB. Additionally, the research indicates that 12.2% of job satisfaction can be explained by OCB, as shown by the coefficient of determination for this variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran efikasi diri pelamar fresh graduate dengan pelamar berpengalaman pada kegiatan wawancara kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif dengan prosedur pengambilan subyek dilakukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang, dengan karakteristik 5 orang fresh graduate dan 5 orang berpengalaman pada kegiatan wawancara kerja. Proses pengambilan data pada penelitian ini berdasarkan sumber data primer dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara (in depth interview). Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa setiap pelamar memiliki efikasi diri yang berbeda-beda saat melakukan wawancara kerja tetapi perasaan yang di rasakan pelamar cukup sama saat wawancara kerja. Pada fresh graduate cenderung merasa takut dan gugup karena kurangnya pengalaman, persiapan, dan keterampilan dalam menjawab pertanyaan interviewer. Sedangkan pelamar berpengalaman saat wawancara kerja memiliki penyampaian yang lebih tenang, mampu mengendalikan ekspresi wajah, dan memiliki persiapan yang sudah matang. Dari penelitian ini juga diketahui memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi saat menghadapi wawancara kerja dapat menjadikan indikator potensial keberhasilan di dalam dunia kerja.
