Abstract

The Dolokapa Formation is a sedimentary rock formation formed in a deep-sea depositional environment with a fairly complex level of deformation and tectonic arrangement. Analysis of the sedimentation mechanism is carried out to determine how much tectonic influence on the mechanisms that occur in a depositional environment and the variations in the sedimentation mechanism formed. Research on the sedimentation mechanism needs to be carried out to determine the history of the formation of Gorontalo sedimentary rocks, especially in the Dolokapa Formation which was formed during the Miocene. The purpose of this study is to know the mechanisms of deep-marine sedimentation based on the identification of lithological characteristics, layer stacking patterns, and sedimentary structures. The method used was measuring sections using a range of ropes divided into four measurement paths. After that, a correlation was performed based on the genesis of deep marine formation. Based on the results of processing and analysis of the data, obtained units of lithology that insertion silty-clay, and the sandstone graining insertion of silt. In vertical succession, the layering pattern formed generally thickens upwards which describes the energy of the depositional currents. The sedimentary structure consists of rip up-clast, parallel lamination, graded bedding, convolute, slump, and trace fossils of nereites trace fossils of nereites that characterize the sedimentation of traction currents and turbidite currents in the deep-sea environment. The sedimentation mechanism formed is the traction current mechanism which is a further development of turbidite current and high-low concentration turbidity current mechanism that occurs slowly on a suspension-controlled grain. The stratigraphic relationship of the rock units in the research area is aligned based on the genesis formation that is located in the setting of the deep marine.

Abstract

Gorontalo is an area located in the North Arm of Sulawesi which has a complex geological structure as a result of the submergence of the Sulawesi Sea and East Sangihe so that this area is considered an earthquake-prone area. The existence of the regional structure and the mapping of the earthquake point distribution is interesting to be studied more deeply because it affects seismic activity in the area. The purpose of this study is to analyze earthquakes in the Asparaga area based on their depth and magnitude and to relate them to the geological structures found in the study area. The earthquake data used were obtained from USGS. Satellite image data used is the SRTM satellite image. Earthquake data is mapped to produce depth maps, magnitude maps, and earthquake zoning maps. Lineament data were processed using a rosette diagram. Lineament can reflect the morphology observed on the earth's surface as a result of the activity of geological forces. The results showed that the Asparaga area had shallow earthquake depths and moderate to large magnitudes. The focus of the earthquake was right on the path traversed by the geological structure and its relatively northwest-southeast direction. The geological structure in the research location is the epicenter of the earthquake because it is crossed by regional geological structures.

Abstract

Geothermal is a type of renewable energy whose utilization can be applied in the tourism sector. This community service aims to increase geothermal knowledge and knowledge about the hazards that can be caused so that students have a basic understanding of geothermal and can minimize the risks or hazards generated by geothermal if students visit geothermal tourism objects. The implementation method is in the form of geothermal learning through the provision of material with interesting handouts and geothermal songs. The results of the community service show that students have basic knowledge of geothermal and have the ability to protect themselves if they are around hot springs.

Abstract

Geological structures in the form of joints and faults have big role in landslide disaster. This study aims to analyze the geological structures using stereographic analysis and rosette diagrams and determine the potential landslides that can occur in the research location in order to identify landslide mitigation efforts in the research area. The method used in this research is field observations then followed by stereographic analysis and rosette diagrams, which are one of the diagrams of the presentation of orientation of the geological structures elements. The results showed that the mechanism of landslide mostly caused by the geological structures distribution in the Tanjung Keramat area, especially by joint distribution. Tension joints dominant direction relatively west as well as the slope direction. Stereographic analysis of the shear joints show the type of extensional stress directing relatively North-South. Potential types of landslide that can occur are wedge failures. Appropriate mitigation efforts are by reducing the slope angle and making structural retaining walls to withstand natural slopes and heaps high enough.

Abstract

The condition of Gorontalo City has a high level of vulnerability to earthquake hazards, for this reason an understanding of earthquakes needs to be done early, especially for children with disabilities. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of earthquake mitigation for students with disabilities in SDLB Gorontalo, especially the blind, deaf, and autism and to find the efforts to improve the mitigation ability of disability students. The method that will be used in this study is the survey method with the instrument used in the form of a questionnaire. The samples in this study were 34 people with disabilities in SDLB of Gorontalo City consisting of blind, deaf and autism students. The results obtained are the level of understanding and ability of students for earthquake mitigation is very low (not good category) where for blind people is 3.5%, while deaf is 1.6%, and autism is 0.1%. For this reason, efforts need to be done to improve the ability of disabilities with cheerful learning media such as cheerful music for the visually impaired, attractive images for the deaf, and for autism given attractive images accompanied by gifts for what they do to improve their abilities and their learning enthusiasm. Abstract

Gorontalo is one area that is very vulnerable to flooding. Flood problems in Gorontalo must have a solution that can have a positive impact on the community and the government. The purpose of this research is to identification subsurface structure of the Ilotidea Region by using resistivity method. The result of this research will be used for the fundamental of developing the Flood Tourist Science Village. The method that used in this research is to take subsurface data by using the IPMGEO-4200 Electrical Resistivity Meter in 6 points at Ilotidea Village. Processing data through calculating the apparent resistivity (ρa) by entering the values ∆V, I, R and K, then interpreting the subsurface structure of the Ilotidea region. Based on the results of the data analysis, there are obtained 5 layers at each data retrieval point. The layers found at each point are composed of sandy clay, clay, sand, clay, and sandstone. Based on the results of the interpretation of the subsurface structure, the sandy clay layer is arranged with a layer of clay which has the characteristic of not easily escaping the water. This causes the Ilotidea area to be very vulnerable to flooding because when surface runoff and rainfall falls into this area has a high intensity and volume it will cause inundation due to the absence of water absorbed by material found below the surface. Based on the subsurface structure of the Ilotidea region, the house foundation that will be made in a flood tourism science village must reach a depth of 5-10 m where at this depth the layer is a clay layer which is not easy to escape and elastic so the house is not easy to collapse

Abstract

Target pembangunan Provinsi Gorontalo berfokus pada efisiensi jaringan transportasi. Pembangunan ini ditargetkan rampung pada tahun 2019 namun mengalami kendala yakni gerakan tanah atau longsor. Salah satu solusi penanganan terkait permasalahan longsor ini ialah dengan cara mengidentifikasi tipe longsoran dan bidang gelincir longsoran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi tipe longsoran dan mengidentifikasi bidang gelincir longsoran pada GORR (Gorontalo Outer Ring Road) dengan menggunakan metode geologi lapangan dan analisis stereografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode geologi lapangan dan analisis studio. Metode geologi lapangan berfokus pada pengumpulan data permukaan seperti data litologi, geomorfologi, dan struktur geologi, berupa bidang diskontinuitas di daerah penelitian. Analisis studio terdiri dari pengolahan dan interpretasi data bidang diskontinuitas untuk merekonstruksi tipe longsoran di daerah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa satuan geomorfik daerah penelitian merupakan perbukitan denudasional yang tersusun atas batugamping terumbu. Pengukuran struktur geologi mengungkapkan bahwa arah tegasan utama berarah relatif Timur-Barat dengan dip direction relatif ke Selatan. Kedudukan bidang gelincir ialah N 126o E/21o SW. Hasil rekonstruksi tipe longsoran menunjukkan tipe plane failure dengan jenis pergerakan longsoran berupa luncuran (slide). Salah satu cara penanggulangan longsoran dapat dengan melakukan pengerukan material longsoran dan pembuatan dinding penahan longsoran di sepanjang longsoran.

Abstract

Kota Gorontalo memiliki kerentanan yang tinggi terhadap bahaya gempa bumi, oleh karena itu pemahaman tentang gempa bumi perlu dilakukan sejak dini, terutama bagi anak-anak disabilitas. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat potensi gempa yang terjadi di wilayah Kota Gorontalo khususnya SDLB Kota Gorontalo dan sekitarnya serta upaya peningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan mitigasi gempabumi bagi siswa disabilitas di SDLB Kota  Gorontalo khususnya tunanetra, tunarungu, dan tunagrahita. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari  dua yaitu metode interpretasi struktur geologi menggunakan citra SRTM untuk deliniasi kelurusan dan metode fun learning dengan instrumen yang digunakan berupa MINING (Music Fun Learning), MICARD (Mitigation Flascard), MINAME (Mitigation of Nature Game) dan MIGAS (Mitigation Praise). Sampel sebanyak 34 siswa disabilitas di SDLB Kota Gorontalo yang terdiri dari siswa tunanetra, tunarungu dan tunagrahita. Hasil dileniasi yang diperoleh yaitu struktur geologi berupa kelurusan dengan arah relatif utara selatan yang tersebar di wilayah Kota Gorontalo. Kemudian terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan gempa dan kemampuan mitigasi gempa setelah penerapan metode fun learning yaitu MIE TITI (Mitigation of Earthquake Disaster for Disability) pada siswa disabilitas dimana pada anak tunanetra sebesar 50% dan 35%, tunarungu sebesar 45% dan 55%, dan tunagrahita sebesar 3% dan 2%.

Abstract

Kabupaten Bone Bolango merupakan daerah yang mulai berkembang sehingga dibutuhkan pasokan energi listrik seperti energi panas bumi untuk menunjang perkembangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kondisi geologi daerah panas bumi Lombongo. Lokasi penelitian terletak pada koordinat 0°32’ LU - 0°32’40” LU  dan 123°10’40” BT - 123°11’40” BT. Kajian dilakukan terhadap manifestasi panas bumi, litologi, morfologi, flow net, dan hidrogeologi daerah penelitian. Pengamatan manifestasi panas bumi berupa sifat fisik air panas dan sifat kimia air panas. Pengamatan litologi dan morfologi meliputi pengamatan mineral dan bentuklahan. Pengamatan hidrogeologi berupa flow net, daerah recharge, daerah discharge, dan daerah limpasan permukaan. Manifestasi panas bumi yang ada di daerah Lombongo berupa mata air panas dengan suhu terukur di lapangan 420C-480C. Pemunculan mata air panas di daerah Lombongo di kontrol oleh sesar mendatar yang melewati batuan tersebut. Litologi daerah Lombongo dan sekitarnya terdiri dari batuan vulkanik berupa andesit dan batuan intrusif berupa diorit. Geomorfologi daerah Lombongo dan sekitarnya terdiri dari Satuan Pegunungan Vulkanik, Satuan Perbukitan Denudasional dan Satuan Dataran Fluvial. Daerah rechange berada pada pegunungan yang ada di bagian utara daerah penelitian sedangkan daerah discharge berada di bagian selatan daerah penelitian. Kajian geologi daerah penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber panas berasal dari sisa panas tubuh vulkanik yang memanaskan air tanah di reservoar dan keluar ke permukaan melalui sesar mendatar.

Abstract

Berbah adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Sleman, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Dalam hal kemajuan pendidikan usia dini terdapat beberapa taman kanak-kanak (TK) di kecamatan berbah diantaranya TK PANTI DEWI. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu penilaian rapor hingga saat ini masih menggunakan teknik konvensional ditulis penilaian deskriptif secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang cukup tinggi dalam prosesnya. Hal lain adalah gaya penulisan yang berbeda-beda jika ditulis manual dan beberapa masalah human error baik dari sisi orang tua ataupun guru-guru. Solusi yang ditawarkan tersedianya sebuah website rapor online yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media penunjang dalam penilaian rapor, serta pendampingan pelatihan pengoperasian menggunakan komputer untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru TK Panti Dewi. Dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan juga pendampingan terhadap orang tua anak didik dalam penerimaan rapor menggunakan website. Dengan adanya program ini pada akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan mitra mampu meningkatkan efisiensi waktu penilaian rapor penulisan rapor hasil ajar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien bahkan memberikan invoasi baru bagi orang tua jaman milenial yang anak-anaknya sekolah TK di Panti Dewi saat ini yakni dapat menerima rapor anak dalam bentuk softcopy secara online serta dapat unduh sendiri melalui gadget yang dimiliki
