Abstract

This study investigates how schools can serve as strategic platforms for corruption prevention by synthesizing findings from a wide range of literature, including academic journals, policy documents, and anti-corruption education programs in Indonesia. The research addresses the growing concern that anti-corruption efforts remain abstract in educational settings, with a gap between knowledge and actionable behavior. Concrete actions identified in this study include student-led integrity projects, transparent class budgeting practices, and school-wide campaigns promoting ethical behavior. These practices illustrate how anti-corruption values—such as honesty, responsibility, and fairness—can be internalized through daily school routines and decision-making processes. The implementation strategies discussed are drawn from both documented best practices and theoretical frameworks. Notable sources include educational programs initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and pilot schools implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka and Profil Pelajar Pancasila. These strategies include experiential learning, integration of anti-corruption themes into project-based curricula, digital platforms for school governance transparency, and teacher professional development focused on ethics education. Recommendations emphasize the need for a coordinated approach involving the Ministry of Education, school leaders, teachers, parents, and anti-corruption bodies like the KPK. Concrete suggestions include embedding anti-corruption modules in teacher training programs, establishing school-community integrity pacts, and forming regional networks to share successful initiatives. This synergy between policy, pedagogy, and local stakeholder engagement is essential to cultivate a generation committed to integrity and transparency.

Abstract

Waste management has become one of the most pressing urban challenges in developing countries, where rapid population growth and urbanization increase the volume of household waste beyond the capacity of municipal services. This study explores community perceptions of waste management practices in selected urban neighborhoods, focusing on residents’ experiences, attitudes, and challenges in participating in waste reduction and recycling programs. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and field observations involving 30 residents across three neighborhoods. The findings reveal that while communities recognize the importance of proper waste management for health and environmental sustainability, barriers such as limited infrastructure, lack of consistent education, and weak enforcement of regulations hinder effective participation. Cultural norms, economic considerations, and local leadership also shape attitudes toward waste disposal practices. The study highlights the critical role of community engagement, awareness campaigns, and participatory governance in strengthening sustainable waste management. Policy implications suggest that interventions should integrate local perspectives, build trust with residents, and ensure long-term accessibility of facilities.

Abstract

This study aimed at revealing students’ level of cognitive domain depicted in learning objectives of the TOEFL subject matter. Using learning outcomes based analysis, this study further sought to investigate the attainable learning outcomes. The investigation covered an identification of learners’ cognitive level, in what level the learners’ cognitive skill is in relation to learning taxonomy and whether the learning outcomes was attainable or not. This study used two different data collection methods, they were textual analysis of learning outcomes and observation. The analysis referred to analyzing the currect syllabus used in TOEFL teaching and learning process while the observations were conducted during the learning process to find out the suitability between stated learning objectives and the learning activities carried out in the class as well as their relationship to the application of learning taxonomy. As a result, it was revealed that the the designed syllabus was not well formulated in terms of performance objectives. In relation to cognitive domain, the objectives did not use proper action verbs that it discouraged to unreachable learning outcome. In fact, the students’ cognitive level was at ‘understanding’ level that it could not achieve the outcome set in ‘applying’ level.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the understanding and practical skills of female students in entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing strategies at the Jombang Islamic boarding school. This research is important as it can provide the necessary insights to develop more effective and relevant educational programs. The research method employs a quantitative survey with 100 respondents using closed-ended questionnaires. The results show a low understanding of basic concepts in entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing strategies, with average scores of 2.30, 2.30, and 2.35, respectively. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of more comprehensive education to address the current gap in the literature, encouraging a more integrated and practically oriented educational approach to prepare a generation of adaptive entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk pendampingan tentang administrasi pajak dan pelaporan pajak melalui aplikasi djponline kepada para pelaku UMKM pada Forum UMKM binaan Baznas Kota Madiun. Administrasi pajak sangat diperlukan dalam menjalankan suatu usaha. Pendampingan administrasi pajak yang akan disampaikan mulai dari pembuatan nomor pokok wajib pajak baik orang pribadi maupun badan. Pembuatan nomor pokok wajib pajak dapat dilakukan secara online melalui fasilitas ereg pajak. Setelah mendapatkan NPWP, selanjutnya mengajukan permohonan pembuatan electronic filling identification number (EFIN), pengajuan menjadi pengusaha kena pajak (PKP) serta kewajiban perpajakan setelah diajukannya beberapa permohonan. Selain administrasi pajak, ada juga penyampaian materi mengenai perhitungan perpajakan tahunan yang disesuaikan dengan aturan perpajakan terbaru. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini adalah seminar kepada UMKM berkaitan dengan administrasi perpajakan serta perhitungan pajak tahunan. Hasil pengabdian menyebutkan bahwa pelaku UMKM Forum UMKM binaan Baznas Kota Madiun memahami pentingnya administrasi perpajakan dan perhitungan pajak penghasilan tahunan. Pelaku UMKM yang mayoritas bukan CV atau PT memahami terdapat beberapa metode penghitungan PPh Tahunan yaitu berdasarkan omset, norma penghitungan penghasilan neto dan laba bersih.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang perjuangan Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) dalam membangun identitas kewargaannya. Politik kewargaan adalah serangkaian hak–hak kewargaan yang diperjuangkan untuk kelompok sosial yang mengalami eksklusi politik, ekonomi dan kultural dan selalu bersifat politis. Dalam mewujudkan hak-hak kewargaan dapat dilakukan dengan melalui tiga upaya, antara lain yaitu memperjuangkan pengakuan kultural, keadilan sosial dan kesejahteraan, memperjuangkan demokrasi dan representasi politik secara bersinergi. Demokrasi merupakan faham dan sistem politik yang disasarkan pada doktrin power of the people, yakni kekuasaan dari rakyat oleh rakyat dan untuk rakyat. Bahwa rakyat adalah pemegang kedaulatan tertinggi dalam sistem pemerintahan. Praktik demokrasi formal di Indonesia yang relatif berhasil ternyata jauh dari cukup untuk menjamin kewargaan yang lebih substantif. Demokrasi yang ada hanya memberi keuntungan utamanya bagi kelompok oligarki, sembari mendorong perjuangan individu dan kelompok non-oligarki menggunakan tata aturan dan regulasi yang ada untuk menuntut hak-hak kewargaannya. Ada banyak organisasi atau gerakan di Indonesia yang berjuang untuk membangun identitas kewargaannya. Salah satu kelompok yang menghimpun gerakan-gerakan dalam ranah publik secara konsisten adalah dari kelompok pedagang kaki lima. Pedagang Kaki Lima atau pedagang kaki lima dapat diartikan sebagai pedagang yang tidak memiliki lokasi usaha yang permanen atau tetap. Para Pedagang Kaki Lima pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan sederhanan yakni untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perekonomian mereka. Akan tetapi, dilapangan menunjukkan para Pedagang Kaki Lima sering kali termarginalkan oleh lingkungan bahkan oleh pemerintah sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis yang akan mengungkapkan fenomenan secara sistematis pada berbagai temuan dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini fokus membahas tentang bagaimana perjuangan yang dilakukan oleh Pedagangan Kaki Lima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas langkah-langkah perjuangan Pedagangan Kaki Lima dalam membangun identitas kewargaannya serta menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang memperngaruhi perjuangan Pedagang Kaki Lima dalam meneguhkan identitas kewargaannya.
