Abstract

The rapid growth of social commerce in Indonesia has given rise to informal digital business models such as Jastip (Jasa Titip) personal shopping service, which represents a grassroots form of digital transformation among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Operating entirely through digital platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp, Jastip exemplifies how technology- driven commerce is reshaping consumer behavior and SME competitiveness beyond formal marketplace structures. This study empirically examines the influence of three key digital commerce antecedents, Online Customer Review (OCR), Shopping Experience (SE), and price on Online Purchase Intention (OPI), mediated by Consumer Trust (CT), in the Jastip context. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-LISREL) with 115 respondents from Generation Y (aged 24–39 years). Results demonstrate that price is the only antecedent with a significant direct effect on consumer trust (t-value = 2.84), which in turn strongly predicts online purchase intention (t-value = 5.76). Consumer trust fully mediates the price purchase intention relationship (complete mediation), while OCR and shopping experience were not found to significantly predict trust in this informal digital commerce context. These findings offer strategic implications for Jastip operators and digital SME policymakers, emphasizing that transparent pricing and trust architecture are the primary digital levers for driving purchase intention in informal social commerce platforms.

Abstract

Student data management in Indonesian higher education institutions continues to face challenges such as data duplication, academic record manipulation, limited transparency, and weak interoperability caused by centralized databases. These issues hinder institutional credibility, administrative efficiency, and trusted academic governance. This study aims to conceptually develop a blockchain based framework to enhance data integrity, transparency, and efficiency in student data management. Using a qualitative descriptive and comparative approach, the research analyzes existing blockchain models and integrates technological and managerial perspectives to design a permissioned blockchain system supported by smart contracts. The proposed framework focuses on automating academic data validation, strengthening access control, and enabling secure inter-institutional data exchange. Comparative findings indicate that blockchain offers immutability, traceability, and accountability, positioning it as a transformative innovation for academic governance. The study provides a conceptual foundation for universities and policymakers to adopt secure and interoperable blockchain-based academic data systems aligned with Indonesia digital transformation agenda in higher education. Future research is recommended to simulate or pilot the model for practical evaluation and implementation.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a central force in reshaping the educational ecosystem in the era of Industry 4.0. In Islamic education, particularly within pesantren, digitalization plays a strategic role in improving digital literacy, promoting social inclusion, and strengthening community engagement. This study aims to examine how digital transformation can be effectively implemented in pesantren management through adaptive strategies that integrate technology, learning innovation, and organizational governance. A qualitative approach was used, with data collected from 30 in-depth interviews involving educators, students, pesantren administrators, parents, and educational technology experts. Additional data were obtained through 3–5 observations of digital activities, internal documentation, and a review of 25–40 relevant academic sources. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, thematic categorization, and triangulation across interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that digital transformation enables pesantren to enhance management adaptability, improve learning experiences, and strengthen collaboration with external stakeholders. The success of these digital initiatives is influenced by leadership commitment, human resource readiness, and community participa- tion. The study also highlights that digital literacy programs support students’ preparedness for an increasingly technology-driven global environment. This study contributes to the discourse on digital education in Islamic institutions by offering practical insights for policymakers and pesantren leaders in balancing tradition with innovation, emphasizing the need for strategic planning and capacity development to ensure sustainable and mission-aligned digital practices.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, mathematical literacy has emerged as a crucial competency for students navigating data-intensive environments. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data in education holds transformative potential to enhance personalized learning and support data-driven teaching strategies, yet it also raises critical concerns around Cybersecurity, particularly in safeguarding student data and ensuring trust in digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the effects of AI and Big Data on mathematical literacy, while examining the moderating role of Cybersecurity. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 3. The results indicate that both AI and Big Data have significant positive effects on students’ mathematical literacy, with Big Data exerting the strongest influence through its ability to provide deep insights into student performance. AI also contributes effectively by enabling real-time feedback, adaptive learning, and personalized instruction. Although Cybersecurity demonstrated a weaker direct effect on mathematical literacy, it remains an essential enabler of a secure digital learning environment, fostering user trust and system integrity. This research highlights the importance of aligning educational technology implementation with strong digital safeguards to maximize learning outcomes. The findings offer managerial implications for educational institutions to invest in intelligent learning platforms supported by robust cybersecurity protocols. Ultimately, the study reinforces the relevance of SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting inclusive, safe, and tech-enhanced learning ecosystems suited for the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

The increasing reliance on user-centered design in digital product development has intensified the need for systematic approaches to transforming qualitative user feedback into actionable insights for UX and UI decision-making. Although qualitative feedback provides rich understanding of user motivations, frustrations, and contextual behaviors, product teams often face challenges such as data ambiguity, interpretive bias, information overload, and weak alignment between research outcomes and product strategy. This literature review aims to synthesize existing academic research and industry practices to propose a structured framework that bridges qualitative analysis and technology-driven product decisions. Using a qualitative research design based on framework analysis, this study reviews established methods including user interviews, usability testing, open-ended surveys, thematic analysis, and affinity-based synthesis. These approaches are integrated into a four-step framework consisting of feedback coding, theme identification, alignment with product objectives, and formulation of actionable insights. The findings of this review suggest that applying a structured synthesis process enhances analytical clarity, improves traceability between user feedback and design actions, and supports more consistent prioritization in UX/UI practices. Illustrative applications drawn from prior studies demonstrate how the framework can translate qualitative insights into concrete design recommendations without relying on empirical experimentation. This study concludes that qualitative user feedback delivers meaningful value only when processed through a systematic synthesis mechanism that connects user narratives with strategic and operational product decisions, providing a conceptual foundation for data-driven and AI-supported UX/UI design environments.

Abstract

Amid the rapid advancement of digital transformation, higher education institutions are increasingly required to enhance management effectiveness and decision-making quality through the adoption of data-driven innovations. The background of this study highlights the importance of employing an evidence based approach to address the complex managerial and academic challenges faced by universities. The main objective of this research is to analyze how the implementation of data-oriented approaches can drive transformation in higher education governance, particularly in improving institutional performance, administrative efficiency, and strategic planning. This study employs a mixed method approach by combining quantitative analysis of institutional data with 50 qualitative interviews involving academic leaders to explore the relationship between data utilization and institutional management outcomes. The findings reveal that universities implementing robust data governance systems and optimizing analytical tools experience significant improvements in decision-making effectiveness, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement, resulting in more transparent and adaptive management systems. Furthermore, the study finds that the success of data-driven management is not solely determined by technological readiness but also by organizational culture, leadership commitment, and the data literacy of personnel. In conclusion, the adoption of evidence-based and data-oriented management approaches can significantly transform higher education institutions into more innovative, responsive, and accountable entities capable of adapting to global changes and challenges in the academic landscape.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has accelerated the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into educational systems worldwide. Despite its benefits, concerns about ethics, algorithmic bias, transparency, and value alignment remain significant, particularly in faith-based educational institutions that emphasize moral and spiritual development. This study aims to propose a Sharia-Guided Artificial Intelligence (SGAI) model that supports ethical, accountable, and value-oriented transformation in modern education. The research employs a mixed-method approach by combining qualitative analysis of Islamic educational principles and ethical frameworks with quantitative evaluation of AI-supported governance practices in educational institutions. Data were collected from educators, administrators, and students within Islamic educational environments to assess the feasibility, acceptance, and integrity of AI implementation within a Sharia-compliant framework. The results indicate that AI systems guided by Sharia principles can improve curriculum personalization, administrative efficiency, transparency, and institutional accountability while reducing algorithmic bias and maintaining ethical values in educational processes. Furthermore, the proposed model encourages responsible data governance, ethical decision-making, and inclusive learning environments supported by intelligent technologies. The integration of intellectual, ethical, social, and spiritual dimensions also strengthens holistic educational development. In conclusion, embedding faith-based ethical intelligence into AI-driven educational management can foster sustainable, trustworthy, and socially responsible innovation while providing a practical framework for value-aligned AI adoption in education.
