Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat belajar Pendidikan Jasmani terhadap hasil belajar sepakbola pada siswa SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 30 siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur minat belajar adalah kuesioner, sementara hasil belajar sepakbola diukur melalui tes keterampilan sepakbola. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar sepakbola. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat belajar Pendidikan Jasmani dengan hasil belajar sepakbola pada siswa SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. Semakin tinggi minat belajar siswa terhadap Pendidikan Jasmani, semakin baik hasil belajar mereka dalam keterampilan sepakbola. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan strategi pengajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar olahraga, khususnya sepakbola, di sekolah.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong transformasi dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital. Namun, masih ditemukan keterbatasan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan website sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang dan mengelola website sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan praktik, dan evaluasi, dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dan melibatkan 35 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan teknis mahasiswa. Secara kuantitatif, hasil evaluasi pasca-kegiatan menunjukkan kenaikan skor rata-rata pemahaman sebesar 38% dibandingkan pra-kegiatan. Secara kualitatif, mahasiswa menunjukkan peningkatan kreativitas dalam menyusun konten, navigasi, dan tampilan antarmuka website. Selain itu, sebagian besar peserta menyatakan kegiatan ini relevan dan aplikatif dalam konteks pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sosialisasi pengembangan website media pembelajaran efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan pemahaman mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini direkomendasikan untuk dilanjutkan secara berkelanjutan dengan penguatan materi lanjutan dan kolaborasi lintas disiplin guna mendukung literasi digital mahasiswa di era pembelajaran modern.

Abstract

  This research develops a service technique learning module for volleyball for Physical Education students of the University of Muhammadiyah Sorong with the ADDIE R&D model. Two groups were involved: experiment (using modules) and control (conventional methods). The average pre-test of the experimental group was 60 and the control group was 58. After treatment, the experimental group's post-test score rose to 85, the control was only 70. A 42% increase in the experimental group demonstrated the effectiveness of the module. The t-test yielded p = 0.000 (experiment) and p = 0.003 (control), showing a significant difference. More than 85% of students stated that the modules were easy to understand and helpful with practice, proving that they were effective in use.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Indonesia requires continuous efforts to develop teachers' competencies, especially in soft skills related to pedagogical abilities and the use of technology in learning. This community service aims to enhance the soft skills of teachers in the Majelis Dikdasmen PNF PDM of Sorong City through the application of the microteaching method with simple interactive visual media. The microteaching method provides teachers with the opportunity to practice teaching in short sessions, which are then evaluated by peers and facilitators. Additionally, simple visual media such as PowerPoint, learning videos, and infographics are used to enrich the teaching and learning experience. This community service is conducted in the form of theory and practice sessions, followed by group discussions and reflections to strengthen participants' understanding. The results of the service show an improvement in teachers' ability to effectively use visual media, as well as an enhancement in their skills in managing classrooms interactively. This service is expected to significantly contribute to the professionalism of teachers in Sorong City, particularly in improving the quality of the teaching-learning process in non-formal education levels.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan dalam pembelajaran sepaktakraw di SDN Handil Bakti, yang mencakup penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai, keterbatasan sarana prasarana, serta metode pembelajaranyang belum inovatif. Bola takraw yang digunakan di sekolah terbuat dari plastik sintetis yang keras, sehingga menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan dan rasa takut cedera pada siswa, sertaberdampak pada rendahnya partisipasi dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, keterbatasan ruang bermain dan metode pengajaran yang monoton turut memperburuk efektivitas proses belajar-mengajar.Sebagai solusi atas permasalahan tersebut, ditawarkan inovasi media pembelajaranberupa bola takraw berbahan rotan karet yang lebih lunak dan ramah anak. Kegiatanpengabdian ini mencakup pengenalan bola rotan karet kepada guru dan siswa, pelatihanteknik dasar sepaktakraw dengan media tersebut, serta simulasi pembelajaran langsung di lingkungan sekolah. Inovasi ini tidak hanya bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dankeselamatan siswa, tetapi juga mendukung pelestarian olahraga tradisional Indonesia dalam konteks pendidikan dasar. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif, dengan melibatkan langsung guru dan siswa kelas 5 dalam kegiatan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang lebih aman, menarik, dan bermakna, serta memperkuat nilai-nilai sportivitas, kerja sama, dan budaya lokal di kalangan peserta didik.

Abstract

The Reading House digitalization program seeks to strengthen literacy capacity among coastal communities in Kampung Dela by integrating technology into collection management and learning services. Activities included outreach sessions, hands-on training, and ongoing mentoring focused on digital library applications, book catalog systems, and service standard operating procedures. Program effectiveness was measured through pretest and posttest assessments administered to 20 participants across seven key indicators. Results revealed substantial gains, with mean scores rising from 30–40 points at baseline to 82–92 points post-intervention. Such improvements reflect enhanced participant competency in digital literacy, collection management practices, and willingness to sustain Reading House operations. Digitalization has successfully repositioned the Reading House as an inclusive, technology-responsive non-formal learning hub. This program offers a replicable framework for advancing digital literacy in geographically isolated coastal regi.

Abstract

Backstroke swimming is a sport that requires body coordination, core muscle strength, and efficient breathing and movement techniques. Abdominal muscle strength plays a crucial role in maintaining body stability on the water surface and improving movement efficiency. Sit-ups, a form of abdominal muscle strengthening, are thought to positively impact backstroke performance. This literature review aims to analyze previous research on the relationship between sit-up training and improved backstroke performance. The literature reviewed was sourced from national and international journals in the fields of sports and physiology. The results indicate that programmed sit-ups can increase abdominal muscle strength, improve posture, and enhance arm and leg propulsion efficiency. Integrating sit-ups with core exercises such as planks, leg raises, and dynamic movements yields optimal benefits. However, further experimental research is needed to measure the direct impact on speed, energy efficiency, and body stability in the water. This review provides a theoretical basis for coaches to design more effective backstroke training programmed.

Abstract

Pembelajaran PJOK memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan motorik dan pemahaman konsep gerak pada siswa sekolah dasar, sehingga diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti deep learning untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran PJOK berbasis deep learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan gerak siswa SD kelas bawah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest–posttest control group, melibatkan 60 siswa kelas bawah yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes pemahaman konsep dan lembar observasi keterampilan gerak yang dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji t, dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan gerak dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi deep learning memberikan dukungan kuat dalam menyediakan umpan balik otomatis, analisis gerak akurat, dan pengalaman belajar yang lebih adaptif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis deep learning efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PJOK dan berpotensi menjadi strategi inovatif dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran motorik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and cardiovascular capacity (VO₂max) in elementary school students in Sorong City. Cardiovascular fitness, as measured by the Multi Stage Fitness Test (MSFT), is an important indicator in assessing children's health and physical endurance. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 50 students in grades V and VI. The results showed that 60% of students with normal BMI had good cardiovascular capacity, while students with overweight and obese BMI tended to have lower capacity. Pearson correlation analysis produced a value of r = -0.65 (p <0.01), indicating a significant negative relationship between BMI and VO₂max. This finding emphasizes that excess body fat has a negative impact on the efficiency of the cardiovascular system and the body's capacity to transport oxygen during physical activity. Therefore, attention to nutritional status and increasing physical activity from an early age is very important in maintaining children's heart and lung fitness

Abstract

Confidence is one of the psychological aspects that plays an important role in supporting the performance of pencak silat athletes when competing. This study aims to analyze the level of confidence when competing in pencak silat athletes of the University of Muhammadiyah Sorong. The research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. The subjects of the study were 30 pencak silat athletes who were determined by total sampling technique. The instrument used was in the form of a confidence questionnaire which included indicators of confidence in one's abilities, emotional control during competitions, optimism in facing opponents, and courage to make decisions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of averages, percentages, and categorization. The results showed that 46.7% of athletes were in the high confidence category, 40% in the medium category, and 13.3% in the low category. Indicators of confidence in one's abilities have the highest average scores, while emotional control during competitions has the lowest average scores. The conclusion of the study shows that the level of confidence of pencak silat athletes at the University of Muhammadiyah Sorong is generally in the medium to high category, but the aspect of emotional control still needs special attention through a structured mental training program.
