Abstract

The focus of learning in natural science at Madrasah has not received serious treatment by teachers and stakeholders of madrasah both in private and public madrasah, especially Madrasah with Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) whose Qur'an Memorization Program, resulting in the scientific achievements of the students are not so satisfying. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of the achievement clinic strategy and its effect on the improvement of students’ scientific achievements in excellent Madrasah with Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) which has Qur'an Memorization Program in Kudus, Indonesia. The method used in this study is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach analysis. The data sources were from religion teachers, science teachers, research teachers, and science laboratory superintendents and students. Data collected include observations, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique covered six steps, such as preparing and processing data, reading the entire data, coding all the data, describing the type of data, presenting the data, and analyzing the data. The results showed that the implementation of the achievement clinic was carried out by using several steps: (1) the integration of science and religion learning; (2) the addition of research courses; (3) conducting structured and scheduled mentoring; (4) intensive deepening activity before the competition; and (5) complete learning and research infrastructure. The result shows that the achievement clinic strategy can increase the students' ability in science and lead, as well as enable several students to win science olympiads both at the national and international levels

Abstract

The problem of national identity and character lately is at risk. The number of negative events and behaviors, both individually and in groups in the community, illustrates the degadration of the nation's moral values. The character crisis is characterized by an increasing number in crime and violence in the society, including in the world of education. This fact encourages the emergence of various lawsuits on the effectiveness of character education in schools which so far have been seen by some communities as having failed in building students' affection with eternal values and being able to answer the challenges of the changing times.That the crisis of character, one of which is caused by a lack of understanding and practice of religious teachings. Religious characters that require students to understand and be able to practice the teachings of their religion become one of the most important character points in order to improve the good character of students. Religious becomes the foundation of the nation's character, so we need a way to build religious character for each student. Departing from this, in this article the author will discuss about the development model of religious school culture-based character education. The problem in this article will be focused first, on how to develop character education models based on the strengthening of religious school culture in Sultan Agung 3 Islamic High School Semarang; second, how the results of the implementation of the development of character education based on strengthening the culture of religious schools in Sultan Agung 3 Islamic High School Semarang. This article is the result of a qualitative descriptive study conducted by the author at Sultan Agung 3 Islamic Senior High School Semarang. From the research conducted by the author, the results of this research are: the model of character education development based on strengthening the religious school culture is needed in order to increase the effectiveness of character education in schools. Keywords: Character education, character crisis, religious school culture.

Abstract

This article discusses the transformation that occurs in Islamic boarding schools in welcoming the era of society 5.0. Classical Islamic boarding schools in essence still use old traditions in their implementation in various matters related to Islamic boarding schools. Meanwhile, the society 5.0 era requires pesantren to adjust new things that must be done so that pesantren institutions are not left behind with the times. For this reason, pesantren needs to transform in various things about pesantren in order to be able to adjust to existing developments. The research methodology in this study uses literature research using primary and secondary data taken from books and articles which are then analyzed to get conclusions. The conclusion of this study is that pesantren has transformed in several ways, namely first, Transformation of Islamic Boarding School Leadership. Second, transformation of the pesantren education system. Third institutional transformation in Islamic boarding schools. Fourthtransformation Islamic boarding school curriculum. and the fifth, transformation Islamic boarding school education methods.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu aspek fundamental dalam pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian individu. Di Indonesia, konsep pendidikan karakter telah menjadi fokus utama dalam sistem pendidikan nasional, terutama dengan diperkenalkannya Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang menekankan pada pengembangan nilai-nilai luhur sesuai dengan ideologi bangsa. Burhanuddin azZarnuji, seorang cendekiawan Islam yang hidup pada abad ke-14, memberikan kontribusi besar pada pengembangan pendidikan karakter dalam tradisi Islam melalui karyanya, Kitab Ta’līmul Muta’allīīm, az-Zarnuji menguraikan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan yang berfokus pada pengembangan karakter yang baik dan moralitas yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis konsep Pendidikan karakter dalam kitab Ta’līmul Muta’allīīm karya imam az-Zarnuji, konsep dan penerapan kurikulum merdeka, dan relevansi Pendidikan karakter dalam kitab Ta’līmul Muta’allīīm karya imam az-Zarnuji terhadap terhadap Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (Studi Fokus Beriman, Bertakwa Kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa Dan Berakhlak Mulia). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), dengan sumber data primer kitab Ta’līmul Muta’allīīm karya imam al-Zarnuji, dan sumber data sekunder berupa buku-buku dan jurnal yang relevan dengan Pendidikan karakter dan kurikulum merdeka serta implementasinya. Adapun metode analisis data berupa analisis isi (content analysis), analisis induktif, dan deskriptif analitik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Konsep Pendidikan karakter dalam kitab Ta’līmul Muta’allīīm meliputi etika dalam belajar mengajar yaitu adab terhadap guru dan kesungguhan serta kedisiplinan, pengembangan sikap spiritual, sikap terhadap ilmu, sikap terhadap sesama, pengendalian diri dan etika pribadi, konsep pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam kitab Ta’līmul Muta’allim memiliki relevansi terhadap Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, dapat dilihat dari beberapa aspek terutama pada pendekatan Pendidikan karakter, nilai-nilai karakter yang diajarkan, dan tujuan Pendidikan, Pembentukan Karakter Melalui Penghormatan Terhadap Guru dan Orang Tua, dan Pengembangan Kemandirian dan Tanggung Jawab.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges, opportunities, and impacts of implementing Qur'an learning at the Putri Ummahatul Mukminin Islamic Boarding School in Timika, Papua, for native Papuan children. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the main obstacles include difficulties in understanding Arabic due to the students’ diverse local language backgrounds, a shortage of qualified Qur'an teachers, and inadequate learning facilities. On the other hand, there are significant opportunities in utilizing mobile-based Qur'an applications and applying contextual learning approaches that incorporate Papua’s local culture into the teaching process. Qur'an learning has positively contributed to students' character development, particularly in fostering discipline, responsibility, and empathy. This research recommends intensive training for teachers, the enhancement of learning facilities, and broader use of culturally relevant educational technology.

Abstract

Kitab Kaifa Tuwajihul Fitan Syaikh Shalih bin Thoha Abdul Wahid menawarkan solusi untuk masalah pendidikan Islam, dan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan akar masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemikiran penulis kitab tentang masalah dan solusi pendidikan dalam menghadapi fitnah zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis dan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyimpangan aqidah, pemahaman yang buruk tentang manhaj Islam yang benar, dan dominasi orientasi duniawi dalam sistem pendidikan adalah masalah utama dalam pendidikan Islam. Penekanan pada pendidikan akhirat, penguatan ilmu syar'i, dan pemurnian tauhid adalah beberapa solusi yang ditawarkan oleh Syaikh Sholih. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan memberikan bantuan ilmiah dan praktis dalam membangun sistem pendidikan Islam yang sesuai dengan aturan agama.

Abstract

Di Kabupaten Pinrang, khususnya di SDIT Al-Insan, metode Wafa mulai diimplementasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran Al-Qur'an untuk mengatasi rendahnya motivasi belajar dan kesulitan penguasaan tajwid pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan, keunggulan, dan persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan metode Wafa dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Wafa di SDIT Al-Insan telah berjalan dengan baik dan konsisten, diterapkan oleh seluruh guru, meskipun sebagian guru baru masih mengalami keterbatasan kompetensi. Keunggulan metode ini terletak pada kemudahan dalam membaca, menghafal, dan memahami Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan inovatif dan pendampingan terstruktur. Selain itu, metode Wafa dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik melalui pendekatan yang menyenangkan, seperti lagu, gerakan, dan media visual yang mengoptimalkan fungsi otak kanan. Materi yang tersusun sistematis juga mempermudah tahapan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, metode Wafa berkontribusi positif dalam pencapaian target pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di SDIT Al-Insan Kabupaten Pinrang. Abstract

Moderasi beragama menjadi bagian dari merawat Indonesia sebagai bangsa yang memiliki keberagaman untuk mencegah sikap ekstremisme. Senjata paling ampuh untuk permasalahan ini, ialah dengan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang moderat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama berbasis Sekolah Damai di SMA Negeri 3 Semarang. Penelitian ini masuk dalam kategori kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan informan kepala sekolah, guru pendidikan agama Islam serta peserta didik muslim dan nonmuslim SMA Negeri 3 Semarang. Kajian ini menjadi menarik karena SMA Negeri 3 Semarang, konsisten dalam menciptakan berbagai kegiatan dan program yang mampu menciptakan kebiasaan-kebiasaan baik, dalam mendukung tumbuh suburnya keberagaman dengan bingkai persatuan. Salah satunya kegiatan Specta Freeday dengan tujuan mengakrabkan satu sama lain, menumbuhkan sikap saling menghormati, dan menghargai antara umat beragama, dengan ini terciptanya Sekolah Damai.
