Abstract

Breast cancer is the one of leading causes of death among the women in many parts of the world.  According  to Global Cancer Observatory (GCO) data from WHO (2018) show that approximately 58,256 (16,7%) cancer cases were  found in Indonesia out of a total of 348,809 cancer cases. The number of breast cancer patients throughout the world reached 42.1 per 100,000 population on average death rate of 17 per 100,000 inhabitants.Various ways have been used to find effective methods in the early detection of breast cancer. A prediction of breast cancer in early stage is very important in the medical world, which allows them to develop strategic programs that will help diagnose and reduce mortality rates from breast cancer. Performance enhancement and accuracy of artificial neural networks using particle swarm optimization is an effective solution for breast cancer prediction. The accuracy result was found 70% for training data and 96.1% for 30% prediction in this study. Previous studies only used the backpropagation algorithm to predict breast cancer and the result was 94.17%. Compared with previous study, there is an increase of 1.93% in combining  Backpropagation with Particle Swarm Optimization.

Abstract

Penerapan Glamping camp sebagai salah satu inovasi pariwisata yang berkelanjutan sudah sewajarnya dilakukan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Kegiatan Sosialisasi Glamping camp diperlukan untuk menunjang pariwisata berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Sapo Juma Guest House yang terletak di Desa Tongging Kab. Karo dan dihadiri oleh karyawan dan pihak manajemen. Dalam kegiatan ini diadakan pengenalan yang menekankan pada apa, mengapa, dan bagaimana jika glamping camp diterapkan pada hotel yang sekaligus merupakan obyek pariwisata tersebut. Adapun tahapan metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan kegiatan ini adalah persiapan, perencanaan dan pelaksanaan yang dibantu dengan metode yang lebih sederhana, yaitu penyampaian materi, kuis dan diskusi. Hasil yang didapati dari kegiatan tersebut adalah sekitar 92% peserta mengerti definisi glamping camp, sejarah glamping camp serta bagaimana perkembangan bisnis glamping camp di Indonesia. Kemudian, 94% peserta memahami standar perangkat glamping camp dan perbedaan perangkat yang diterapkan pada traditional camping. Kemudian, sekitar 93% peserta dapat mengerti kriteria fasilitas glamping camp yang diperlukan serta konsep atraksi glamping camp sesuai dengan karateristik alam di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut adalah penerapan glamping camp dapat memaksimalkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh Sapo Juma Guest House. Penerapan glamping camp juga dapat menjadi atraksi wisata yang dapat menawarkan solusi pariwisata berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam kehidupan sehari hari yang sangat diperlukan di segala bidang.Agar masyarakat Indonesia menjadi lebih terverifikasi dengan tuntutan teknologi digital. Dengan meningkatnya kualitas perusahaan / kantor masing-masing dari setiap merek maka daya saing dalam sistem pembangunan ekonomi meningkat. Semakin banyak teknologi digital semakin banyak minat dalam bisnis. sistem informasi pengolahan data penjualan memegang peran yang sangat penting dalam memperoleh informasi yang lebih akurat dan dapat memudahkan kemampuan pengguna/orang dalam melakukan untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang barang agar tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam transaksi penjualan dan pembelian serta meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Oleh karena itu penulis mempunyai sebuah ide untuk membuat sebuah sistem informasi data pembelian dan penjualan dengan menggunakan visual studio.net guna meningkatkan kualitas penjualan, pembelian dan pelayanan di toko obat.

Abstract

This investigative method is quantitative and uses experimental techniques with a posttest-only control design. The research focus is on students as a population, with cluster random sampling used for selection. Class B was used as the experimental class, while Class C was used as the control group. Data is collected through documentation and testing. The results of data analysis using the SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually) approach and the Talking Stick approach show an increase in the average learning outcomes in the experimental class. In contrast, the control class uses a conventional learning model using the lecture method. Data analysis used the t-test, and because t-count > t-table, H0 was rejected. This means that the average learning outcomes of Class B students using the SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually) collaborative approach and the Talking Stick approach are the same or greater than the learning outcomes of Class C students using the conventional lecture method.

Abstract

The Development of information technology has had a significant impact on health services, especially through the use of mobile-based health applications. Mobile applications offer easy access to information, improve communication between patients and medical personnel, and monitor health conditions in  real-time. This research aims to develop a mobile-based health monitoring application that can support health programs managed by the Binjai City Health Service. This application is designed to be able to monitor people’s health conditions periodically, remind people to carry out health checks, snd provide relevant health information. The waterfallmethod was chosen in developing this application because of its orderly structure, as well as the ease of access provided by the mobile platform. The application being developed is expected to be integrated with medical devices suchas heart monitors, body temperature and blood pressure sensors, to support the collection and analysis of real-time public health data. It is hoped that the results of this research will be an innovative solution for the Binjai City Health Service in improving public health services through mobile technology. Abstract

Dengan perkembangan zaman di dunia pendidikan saat ini yang terus berubah sehingga banyak merubah pola pikir pendidik, dari pola pikir yang awam dan kaku menjadi lebih modern. Hal tersebut sangat berpengaruh dalam kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Tujuan Pendidikan adalah menciptakan seseorang yang berkwalitas dan berkarakter sehingga memiliki pandangan yang luas kedepan untuk mencapai suatu cita- cita yang di harapkan dan mampu beradaptasi secara cepat dan tepat di dalam berbagai lingkungan. Saat ini tidak ada lagi yang menghambat kita untuk menempuh jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, karena sudah ada beasiswa pendidikan yang membuat kita semakin maju dalam pendidikan. Banyak beasiswa yang ditawarkan, baik beasiswa dari pemerintah maupun beasiswa dari swasta, banyak nya peminat pendaftar membuat kesulitan dalam mengolah data dan bisa juga terjadi kecurangan. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan penerimaan beasiswa dengan menilai beberapa kriteria, dan memanfaatkan metode Simple Additive Weighting dalam membobotkan beberapa kriteria yang akan di nilai, sehingga didapatkan keputusan yang cepat dan tepat

Abstract

The application of the RedDoorz application technology is one of the sustainable hospitality tourism digital marketing innovations and is naturally carried out in North Sumatra Province. This digital marketing training needs to be carried out to make it easier for tourists who want to visit and stay at the Tuk-tuk Siadong hotel. This activity is carried out on Lake Toba which is located in the village of Tuk-tuk Siadong Regency. samosir and attended by employees and hotel management. In this activity an introduction was made to the RedDoorz application which emphasizes the what, why, and how if their hotel marketing is implemented digitally, as well as being a tourist attraction. So that tourists can easily find a place where they will stay. The stages of the method used in carrying out this activity are preparation, planning and implementation which are assisted by simpler methods, namely delivery of material, practice and discussion. The results obtained from this activity were around 90% of participants understood how using the RedDoorz application could improve their hotel marketing. The conclusion obtained from the socialization activity is that digital marketing training by utilizing the RedDoorz application can improve the economy of hotel and guest house owners, as well as increase visitors who can easily book the hotel..

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksakan agar kiranya sumber daya manusia yang ada di kantor keluaran durian kecamatan medan timur ini dapat memanfaatkan teknologi komputer dalam pembuatan dokumen, sehingga tidak ada lagi data atau dokumen dilakukan secara manual atau tulis tangan,dan membuat data/dokumen yang terpusat di dalam satu komputer untuk menghindari kehilangan dokumen. Maka kami sebagia dosen dalam menjalankan tri dharma perguruan tinggi adalah salah satunya pengabdian kepada masyarakt, sehingga masyarakat juga dapat merasakan manfaat kehadiran dari kampus Politeknik Unggulan Cipta Mandiri Medan. Maka dari itu kami memberikan bimbingan atau berupa traning kepada kantor kelurahan durian kecamatan medan timur.

Abstract

Pawnshop is a form of non-bank financial institution that has activities to finance the needs of the community. Pegadaian is currently starting to move towards the stage of transformation into a financial company, the change made by this company by creating an application to make it easier for customers to transact. This research aims to design a pawnshop Digital Service application to make it easier for customers to transact at ummar pawn pawnshops. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and is analyzed by interviewing pawnshop employees, as well as from pawnshop customers. So with this, PT. Penggadaian , hopes that in the future it will continue to maintain relationships with customers to maintain cooperation, so that it will increase even more in the future, in addition to attracting people to become customers. This pawn application is designed using visual basic software and the database uses access, with this pawn application, it not only helps customers, but also helps admins at PT. Penggadaian in the preparation of pawn evidence and preparation of pawn reports

Abstract

The application of Team Viewer application technology is one of the digital innovations to remotely control computers/laptops. The population of this training is all students of class X and XI Computer Network Engineering of SMK Swasta Cerdas Bangsa, North Sumatra Province, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 40 students, while the sample of this study was taken from a population of 20 students. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique. The practical technique used in this training is direct observation of the activity process and observations carried out directly by students during the practicum activities. The technique used by students is the number of students divided into 20 groups, 1 group of 2 people and each group must register on the teamviewer application in order to be able to log in to the application so that the process of implementing the practicum is successful. TeamViewer software is one step in helping students carry out practicum activities online. This training aims to determine students' understanding in implementing TeamViewer software. The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of implementing TeamViewer software is and to see students' responses to the results of using TeamViewer in practicum activities for the subject of Computer Network Systems. Based on the results of the training carried out, it is known that the implementation of the computer network system subject practicum can be carried out well by looking at the results of the observation of the implementation of activities at a percentage of 100% and the results of the observation of the use of the Teamviewer remote desktop application in the implementation of the implementation are also at a percentage of 100%. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of remote practicums can be carried out by utilizing the Remote Desktop Teamviewer application.
