Abstract

Sinar Jaya Paint Shop is a retail establishment that offers a diverse range of Duco paint products, including automotive paint, motorcycle paint, thinner, putty, jump on, and other related supplies. The shop owner must document all financial transactions, both incoming and outgoing. Sinar Jaya Paint Shop employs manual recording methods by documenting entries in a ledger, resulting in prolonged durations for both calculations and reporting. Consequently, the researcher intends to develop a web-based cash flow information system for cash receipts and disbursements at Sinar Jaya Paint Shop. The researcher employed a descriptive methodology in this investigation. This descriptive approach is categorized into three methods: the observational method, the literature review method, and the interview method. This study employs the Rational Unified Process (RUP) as its system development methodology. RUP is an iterative software development process framework established by Rational Software, a part of IBM, in 2003. RUP is a software development methodology for object-oriented models.

Abstract

Application of a Popularity-Based Ranking Model in a Web-Based Augmented Reality Furniture Marketing Information System: A Case Study of D FURNITUR. This marketing information system is essential for delivering pertinent information to consumers and aiding them in purchasing decisions. This research aims to develop a web-based furniture marketing information system incorporating Augmented Reality (AR) and a popularity-based ranking model, employing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, with D FURNITURE as the case study. The RAD technique was selected to expedite development and facilitate ongoing enhancement based on user feedback. The research encompasses system design and development phases, commencing with needs analysis via surveys and interviews with D FURNITURE management and potential users, culminating in system implementation. The resultant solution enables customers to visualize product designs online via an interactive interface augmented by AR. Prominent features encompass an augmented reality display of products in the user's surroundings, product selection informed by popularity rankings, and a cohesive ordering mechanism facilitated via WhatsApp. The findings yield tangible benefits through a robust and efficient furniture marketing information system, minimizing faults in product display, improving user experience in information retrieval, and augmenting satisfaction via a popularity-based rating system. Implementing the RAD approach facilitates flexible and adaptive development to meet future requirements.

Abstract

A traditional information management system is still in use at Pondok Saluyu, a boarding house in Bandung City. This method is unsuccessful or inefficient, particularly regarding marketing and providing potential tenants with information. This project aims to create and implement a web-based information system to facilitate digital payments, streamline the online room rental procedure, and distribute information more efficiently. Agile development, which enables quick development, adapts to change, and actively incorporates all relevant parties in the process, is the system development methodology employed. The findings of this study should make it easier for boarding house operators to verify room availability, manage boarding rooms, and handle tenant transactions. Additionally, this website will serve as a more contemporary form of advertising. The use of mobile/Android applications for system optimization, payment gateways to enhance payment systems, the creation of more comprehensive applications, and the improvement and development of programs in line with technological advancements are some recommendations for future development.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of information, technology, and communication literacy on enhancing students' digital competence at STMIK Mardira Indonesia, Bandung City. Rapid technological advancements have transformed numerous facets of life, necessitating the education sector to adapt to enhance the quality of human resources for competition in the digital age. Digital competence is a crucial ability for students navigating the progressively technology-driven workforce. This competency encompasses critical, creative, and ethical comprehension of technology utilization and the capacity to manage information efficiently. Information literacy aids individuals in identifying information requirements, locating, assessing, and utilizing information judiciously. Simultaneously, technology and communication promote digital competencies by granting access to diverse resources and enhancing the capacity to disseminate knowledge efficiently. This study employs a quantitative methodology utilizing a saturation sampling technique, wherein the complete population of 46 individuals served as the research sample. Data analysis was conducted employing multiple regression procedures, utilizing validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing as statistical analytic tools. The study indicated that technology and communication significantly enhance pupils' digital competency. Students with proficient access to technology and strong communication skills are more capable of enhancing their digital competence. Nonetheless, the study's findings indicated that information literacy did not significantly enhance students' digital competence. This study indicates that while information literacy is a crucial component of higher education, technological and communicative aspects are more influential in developing students' digital competence in the contemporary digital landscape. Consequently, universities must prioritize enhancing technology and communication competencies within the curriculum and educational programs to better prepare students for the digital workforce. Despite the lack of noteworthy findings regarding information literacy in this study, educational institutions must continue to promote awareness of their value as a component of 21st-century abilities. The findings of this study are anticipated to serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating more effective ways to enhance students' digital competency, hence augmenting the competitiveness of graduates in the progressively competitive landscape of globalization.

Abstract

In the construction industry, planners use contract drawings and the Work Plan and Conditions (RKS) to determine the work to complete. The conventional approach in calculating the volume and quantity of work usually relies on Microsoft Excel as a calculation tool based on AutoCAD drawings. However, this method is considered inefficient and time-consuming, which can affect the quality of the resulting infrastructure. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a solution to improve efficiency in planning and managing construction projects. In this research, Tekla Structures was chosen for its ability to generate project drawings, manage and monitor projects, amplify details with high accuracy, and automatically calculate the volume of work after modelling. This research aims to encourage wider application of digital technology in the construction industry in Indonesia. The results showed that comparing the total volume of concrete work between the calculation using Tekla Structures and secondary data had an accuracy rate of 87.61%, with a deviation of 12.39%. Meanwhile, the total volume of reinforcement works showed an accuracy of 95.66% with a deviation of 4.34%. This insignificant volume difference indicates that Tekla Structures can be relied upon to calculate the volume of work, especially in detailing and reinforcement. Although the accuracy of volume calculation is already high, improvement of the BIM model is still needed to make it closer to the actual conditions in the field. One of the efforts that can be made is to integrate real-time data from the field into the BIM model so that the accuracy of calculations increases and can support planning and project management more effectively.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendahuluan. Pertumbuhan teknologi informasi telah mengubah lanskap praktik medis, termasuk dalam pengelolaan rekam medis klinik gigi. Dalam era digital saat ini, klinik gigi dituntut pula untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam menyediakan layanan kesehatan gigi kepada pasien. Klinik gigi Najwa Dental Clinic merupakan salah satu fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang memerlukan sistem informasi untuk mengelola data riwayat medis pasien secara elektronik. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, perlu dikembangkan perangkat lunak atau sistem informasi rekam medis khusus klinik gigi yang dapat mempermudah di dalam pengelolaan data riwayat medis pasien. Tujuan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat lunak atau sistem informasi rekam medis khusus untuk klinik gigi sehingga pengelolaan data riwayat medis pasien dapat dikelola dengan baik secara elektronik. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dalam pengembangan perangkat lunaknya dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP serta basis data MySQL. Hasil. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat lunak atau sistem informasi rekam medis khusus klinik gigi yang dapat diimplementasikan di Najwa Dental Clinic. Kesimpulan. Sistem informasi rekam medis khusus klinik gigi dapat dikembangkan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dan memanfaatkan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan basis data MySQL sesuai hasil analisis perencanaan kebutuhan. Abstract

The value of saving and investing for the future is becoming more widely recognized, especially because the future is full of uncertainties. Preparing for future needs through investment has become a wise step increasingly recognized by society, especially among the youth. The research fills a gap in the literature regarding digital investment application usage, particularly focusing on students who are active users of social media and digital technologies. The data was analyzed using SPSS, and 86 respondents were surveyed using a quantitative research procedure that employed explanatory research. The results indicate that the decision to use the Bibit application is significantly influenced by both information quality and social media marketing. Specifically, social media marketing influences users' decision-making by providing educational content and up-to-date investment information, while information quality, including the relevance and timeliness of the provided content, plays a crucial role in users' satisfaction. Abstract

Transaksi elektronik semakin banyak digunakan oleh individu maupun badan hukum dalam berbagai industri, terutama dalam dunia bisnis, sebagai akibat dari pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Perjanjian digital, yang mengikat pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam transaksi, merupakan komponen penting dalam transaksi elektronik. Pertanyaan tentang keabsahan perjanjian digital masih ada dalam sistem hukum Indonesia meskipun transaksi elektronik semakin populer. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa keabsahan perjanjian digital dalam transaksi elektronik yang didasarkan pada Undang-Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE), bersama dengan peraturan terkait lainnya. Pembicaraan ini mencakup elemen hukum yang berkaitan dengan perjanjian digital; persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh perjanjian digital; masalah yang muncul saat menerapkannya; dan perlindungan hukum bagi pihak yang terlibat dalam transaksi elektronik.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam layanan publik menjadi kebutuhan mendasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi pengelolaan permohonan data berbasis web yang efisien, transparan, dan berorientasi pada kepuasan pemohon. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan analisis perancangan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) dan evaluasi sistem menggunakan white-box testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rancangan sistem dengan fitur inovatif seperti formulir online, pelacakan status real-time, notifikasi email otomatis, dashboard visual, serta form kritik dan saran. Pengujian menunjukkan fitur utama berfungsi sesuai spesifikasi dengan cakupan 100%. Sistem informasi yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat mendukung transformasi digital dalam pelayanan publik.

Abstract

There are several problems that affects the quality of teaching and learning in accounting in secondary schools. In grade 12 particularly, English language misunderstanding, limited advance teaching skills and abilities, restricted teaching times and lack of parental support have been observed as major problems that hinders quality teaching and causes poor academic performance. Therefore, this study aimed to demonstrate how the connection model for integration of Information and Communication Technology can solve these four major grade 12 accounting problems. Actor Network Theory (ANT) informed this empirical inquiry. In addition, critical paradigm and Participatory Action Research were used to understand the research phenomenon. Six teachers were purposively sampled to participate in the discussion and the data collected was analysed using a content analysis. Results showed that connection model can solve the four major problem in grade 12 by offering opportunities of communicating in one language and using auto-correct to improve vocabulary. Through reinforcing technological knowledge and skills for new pedagogical ideas. Furthermore, by providing an alternative convenient learning method and connecting teachers with parents via WhatsApp. Considering the above results, the study suggested that connection model must be more embraced in accounting. The model must be documented and made available to accounting teachers to also use it for ICT integration in accounting. It is recommended that the connection model should be developed into an app for accounting.
