Abstract

Implementation of the independent curriculum has supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach on the research focus at the Raudhoturrahmah Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis technique. The results of this research reveal that the inhibiting factors are teachers who do not fully understand their role in the independent curriculum, heavier learning loads on student assignments, and the existence of new terms in implementing the independent curriculum. The supporting factors are monthly workshops for principals and supervisors coached by expert trainers, strengthening learning committee teachers, mentoring by expert trainers online, carrying out coaching activities for principals every month, filling out surveys to find out various obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum. This school uses an independent curriculum with independent study options in grades II, III, V, VI and the independent option changes in grades I and IV. This school has implemented an independent curriculum which begins with carrying out diagnostic assessments, adjusting lesson hours, creating projects as an implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), carrying out learning that is adapted to student characteristics both outside and inside the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to summarize and describe the importance of formulating a vision and mission in educational institutions. The method used in writing this scientific article is by using the library research method. In an educational institution, the vision and mission are very important. The vision and mission of an educational institution is the foundation that serves as a guide for all stakeholders, from managers, teaching staff, to students. The vision reflects the image of the future desired by the institution, while the mission describes the concrete steps that will be taken to realize that vision. Therefore, the success of an organization is largely determined by the process of formulating the vision and mission of the educational institution. Formulating a vision and mission also plays a key role in increasing the accountability of educational institutions. By setting specific goals in the mission, institutions have a basis for measuring their performance and achievements. This helps create high standards of quality and accountability, which in turn contributes to improving the overall quality of education. Schools must carry out their duties well as educational institutions whose mission is to achieve educational goals.  In recognizing its role as an educational institution, schools must be managed well to achieve the formulated educational goals optimally without hesitation

Abstract

The logic of shape, number, and sequence is the subject of mathematics. We use mathematics in everything we do. Available everywhere. Everything we use every day—computers, software, hardware, art, money, engineering, sports, and even ancient and modern architecture is built around it. In the realm of number theory, mathematicians study various aspects of prime numbers, including the distribution of prime numbers, ordering patterns of prime numbers, and methods for generating prime numbers. Even the most ancient and rudimentary societies used mathematics, and since the beginning of history, mathematical discoveries have been made. at the forefront of every civilized civilization. This is simple but can be applied to many phenomena in everyday life, making an Ancient Greek mathematician from the Hellenestic era named Erastothenes successful in being the person who created an extraordinary discovery, namely, the Erastothenes Sieve. Therefore, the aim of this research is to provide encouragement to junior high school students to understand and be interested in studying mathematics, especially the Erastothenes measurement method and then apply it in everyday life. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and literature review method. The instruments used in this research are tests, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show the level of students' understanding of the Sieve of Eratosthenes.

Abstract

The education crisis in remote areas in Indonesia is one of the main challenges hampering equal distribution of education quality. This article examines the role of technology in overcoming various obstacles faced by the education sector in these regions. Education in remote areas, from elementary to senior level, really needs the right technology so that it can develop in line with today's times. Information and communications technology (ICT) offers innovative solutions to improve access and quality of education, through e-learning, educational applications and other digital tools. However, the application of technology in remote areas faces various obstacles, including limited infrastructure, uneven internet access, and low digital literacy among teachers and students. The research method uses literature studies from various valid reading sources. This article offers various solutions and initiatives and strategies that have been implemented to overcome this challenge, such as training programs for teachers, improving digital infrastructure, and collaboration between the government and the private sector. With a holistic and integrated approach, technology can be the key to overcoming the education crisis in remote areas and encouraging better educational equality throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is very interesting and important to study according to the rational reasons stated in the background content, that science and Islam are knowledge obtained through different epistemological sources. even though in the Islamic view it is explained that Islam is a religion of salvation that does not separate science into dichotomous boxes. This research aims to construct the concept that science and Islam are sciences that originate from an epistemology originating from the creator, namely Allah SWT. This research uses a literature review (SLR) system which includes accredited national journals and several other international journals which includes several stages as follows: a. identification phase. B. filtering phase c. feasibility stage and d. inclusion and extraction phases. Based on the results of data analysis, the resulting research findings are that the Al-Qur'an provides quite high encouragement to develop sciences based on Allah's revelation and sciences based on reason. The knowledge that comes from Allah's revelation is the Koran, while the knowledge that comes from reason is the result of human thought which is developed systematically and scientifically. Thus, it can be concluded that the ulumul Qur'an perspective between science and Islam has been explained in the Qur'an through kauliyah verses which explain its relationship with the universe. Meanwhile, the second verse is the qauniyah verse which is a verse from Allah apart from discussing the universe

Abstract

An educator can only carry out his duties well if he obtains clear and correct answers through understanding the basic elements and concepts of education as a whole, including the nature of learning as one of the most urgent elements in the world of education. The research method uses Library Research (Library Study). In Islam, the essence of learning is at least seen as first; learning is a theo-anthropocentric necessity. Second; learning is an activity that can be done anytime and anywhere and third; that learning can not only be done by oneself, but also with the help of others, both in the form of asking questions and so on, and fourth: that the learning process can be designed or engineered in various forms and methods carried out by oneself and others in achieve these learning objectives, so that the results achieved can be better. Even though the edutainment method is believed to be a learning method that developed in the western world, essentially Islam, through the Koran and Hadith, has laid the foundation for enjoyable learning as the jargon of this edutainment method. This certainly shows that in Islam, especially the Koran which is humanity's guide, it is not only understood normatively as a text that regulates Sharia laws.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how teachers' classroom management skills improve student learning achievement. Various problems in the learning process are part of various unfinished studies discussed in various seminars, discussions and other academic activities to find various alternative solutions to problems faced by teachers in carrying out their duties as teachers and educators in school or madrasah environments.  The research method uses qualitative research and data is collected using interview, observation and documentation methods to secure the research objects in the field. The research was carried out at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah NW Korleko. The results of the research show that the classroom management carried out at the research location takes the form of classroom management skills when studying the field of Qur'an Hadith studies, namely classroom arrangement, teaching facility arrangement, student management, student management outside the classroom and classroom administration. Meanwhile, student learning achievement is still less successful because class management skills have not been implemented optimally, so there needs to be an increase in the teacher's class management skills so that student learning achievement can be even better
