Abstract

Digital transformation in the educational context requires teachers to possess adequate digital literacy competencies to integrate technology into learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of digital transformation in building a digital literacy culture among teachers at SMP PGRI, Pondok Labu District, South Jakarta. The research approach used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the digital transformation process has been ongoing but is not yet optimal. Teachers still experience obstacles in the use of digital devices, utilization of learning platforms, and consistency in implementing digital literacy practices. The main inhibiting factors include limited training, unstable network infrastructure, and low teacher confidence in using technology. Nevertheless, the school is committed to providing technological facilities and encouraging a shift in work culture towards a digital-based learning environment. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous training, technological assistance, and the provision of adequate infrastructure to accelerate teachers' digital literacy culture comprehensively.

Abstract

The development of human civilization is characterized by efforts to balance technological progress with fundamental human values. In this context, collaboration between the government and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) is crucial for creating human resources (HR) who are not only intellectually superior but also possess strong moral and spiritual character. This study aims to examine the forms of collaboration between the government and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in developing HR capable of adapting to digital change, as well as examining the various challenges and opportunities that arise during the transition to Society 5.0. The research method used is a qualitative approach through library research, by reviewing various references such as books, scientific articles, policy reports, and relevant online sources. The research findings indicate that the government has a strategic role in formulating policies and providing competency improvement programs for Islamic boarding school HR. Meanwhile, Islamic boarding schools play a crucial role in shaping the character, work ethic, and spirituality of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between assertive behavior and learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject among tenth-grade students at MA Al-Islam Jamsaren, Surakarta. A quantitative correlational approach was used, involving the entire population (66 students) as the sample. Assertive behavior was measured using a validated questionnaire, while Fiqh learning outcomes were obtained from semester report card scores. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests (normality and linearity), and hypothesis testing with Pearson correlation. The results indicate that students’ assertive behavior is in the moderate category, with an average score of 125.03. The average Fiqh score is 79.83 (classified as good), with class X-1 having the highest mean (80.41). Pearson correlation testing yielded r = -0.315 with p = 0.010 (< 0.05), indicating a significant but weak relationship between assertive behavior and Fiqh learning outcomes. The relationship is negative, meaning higher assertiveness tends to be associated with slightly lower learning outcomes, although the correlation is relatively weak. These findings imply that students’ assertive behavior plays a role in the learning process, but its impact on Fiqh academic achievement is not strong. Teachers and schools are advised to continue fostering assertiveness through active learning strategies while also addressing other factors that may affect learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to the educational administration system, including the management of teacher and staff data in schools. The government introduced the GTK application as a digital tool to support data accuracy, effective personnel management, and the improvement of professional competence among educational staffThis study aims to analyze the implementation of the GTK application in improving the quality of educational staff at SD Negeri Percobaan Palangka Raya. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method to gain an in-depth understanding of the GTK application usage process among educational staff. The purposive sample consisted of 44 participants, including the principal, school operators, administrative staff, and teachers who actively use the GTK application. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and school administrative documentation, and analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, narrative presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the GTK application significantly enhances administrative efficiency, improves the accuracy of teacher and staff data, and supports professional development for teachers. Key supporting factors include staff digital literacy, principal support, and adequate technological infrastructure, while obstacles include limited digital literacy among new teachers and uneven infrastructure availability.

Abstract

Leadership is a crucial element in shaping the governance of Islamic educational institutions that are both high-quality and integrity-based. From an Islamic perspective, leadership is not only assessed through administrative competence but also through moral and spiritual dimensions rooted in Sharia principles. One of the main principles is justice (‘adl), which requires leaders to act objectively, transparently, and responsibly in decision- making and human resource management. This research is a literature study aimed at exploring and analyzing the concept of just leadership in classical and contemporary Islamic literature, as well as examining its application in the context of Islamic educational institutions. The findings indicate that leadership based on the value of ‘adl fosters an inclusive work climate, enhances participation, strengthens teacher loyalty, and contributes to the improvement of graduate quality. The integration of the values of trust (amanah), consultation (shura), and justice (‘adl) forms a model of Islamic leadership that is both transformational and spiritual. Therefore, this study recommends the internalization of the principle of justice into the vision, strategies, and policies of Islamic educational institutions as a fundamental pillar in addressing global challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Human Resource Management (HRM) in improving graduate quality at Islamic Senior High Schools (MAN) in Bandar Lampung City by examining seven key HRM functions, namely human resource planning, recruitment and selection, training and professional development, performance evaluation, career development, teacher motivation and welfare, and Islamic work culture. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design, in which data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that human resource planning is carried out through teacher needs analysis and workload mapping, enabling more appropriate teacher placement in accordance with curricular demands. Recruitment and selection are implemented rigorously through microteaching and structured interviews to ensure compatibility between teacher competencies and institutional values. Training and professional development are conducted continuously through workshops, MGMP programs, and internal mentoring, which significantly strengthen teachers’ pedagogical competencies. Performance evaluation functions as a basis for professional coaching, while career development motivates teachers to enhance their professionalism. Moreover, teacher motivation is shaped by recognition, a religious work atmosphere, and harmonious interpersonal relationships, whereas Islamic work culture supports character building and the creation of a positive learning environment. Overall, this study concludes that the integrated implementation of HRM functions significantly contributes to improving the quality of graduates at MAN schools in Bandar Lampung City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation and Organizational Commitment on the effectiveness of Teaching Factory implementation in Vocational High Schools (SMK) across Bandar Lampung City. The research employed a quantitative method with a sample of 75 respondents. Data were collected using standardized instruments and analyzed using SPSS 25 through descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression tests. The findings indicate that the implementation of Total Quality Management is in the good category, with a mean score of 15.61 and a standard deviation of 1.793, and the data distribution shows a tendency toward normality. The results also reveal that Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Teaching Factory effectiveness, with a significance value of 0.01, where the normative commitment dimension shows the highest correlation at 0.924. Furthermore, the multiple regression analysis demonstrates that Total Quality Management and Organizational Commitment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of Teaching Factory implementation, as shown by an R value of 0.690 and an R Square value of 0.515, indicating that both variables collectively explain 51.5% of the variance in Teaching Factory effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher readiness and perceptions in implementing differentiated learning within the Independent Curriculum (Curriculum Merdeka) at a private high school in Yogyakarta. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 45 teachers. The results showed that most teachers understood the concept of differentiated learning and demonstrated the ability to identify student learning needs. School support for the implementation of this learning was considered quite good, although some teachers felt they had not received full support. Furthermore, teachers' confidence in designing differentiated learning varied; some teachers felt ready, while others remained uncertain. Key obstacles include time constraints, high class sizes, and administrative burdens that limit teachers' room for innovation. These findings confirm that the success of differentiated learning depends not only on teachers' conceptual understanding but also on institutional support and school policies. Therefore, ongoing training, reduced administrative burdens, and policies that better support learning innovation are needed.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the POAC-based management strategy (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) in strengthening the continuous learning culture within the Islamic Students Association (HMI) Komisariat Tarbiyah at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that although each POAC function has been implemented, its execution remains suboptimal. In the planning aspect, the organization has established intellectual-oriented training programs; however, they are not fully supported by needs analysis and risk-based planning. The organizing aspect shows a structurally well-defined system, yet coordination among divisions is still weak. In the actuating aspect, participatory leadership has been applied, but member participation remains inconsistent and heavily influenced by individual motivation. Regarding the controlling aspect, evaluation mechanisms are not well documented, resulting in repetitive issues and the absence of structured recommendations. This study concludes that the POAC management strategy has substantial potential to strengthen a sustainable learning culture, but requires improvement in coordination, program implementation discipline, member motivation, and systematic evaluation mechanisms.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization and learning innovation on students’ learning creativity. Employing a quantitative associative approach, the research involved 100 university students as the sample. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple regression after passing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The findings indicate that AI utilization and learning innovation have a significant effect on learning creativity, as reflected by a correlation coefficient of 0.844 and a significance value of 0.000. The results demonstrate that AI contributes to enhancing students’ ability to explore information, generate new ideas, and understand learning materials through adaptive recommendations and feedback. Learning innovation also plays an essential role in creating interactive, flexible, and creativity-stimulating learning environments.
