Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the availability of library book collections on students’ reading interest at SDIT At-Taqwa Pamulang in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design using a survey method. The sample consisted of 42 students selected as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used simple linear regression to examine the relationship between the availability of library book collections (X) and students’ reading interest (Y).he results showed that the availability of library book collections was categorized as high, with a percentage of 79.25%, while students’ reading interest was also categorized as high, with a percentage of 66.22%. The regression analysis produced the equation Y = 44.687 + 0.131X, indicating a positive effect of the availability of library book collections on students’ reading interest. However, the coefficient of determination was 0.014, meaning that the effect was very low, contributing only 1.4%, while the remaining 98.6% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. In conclusion, the availability of library book collections has a positive but low influence on students’ reading interest.

Abstract

This study investigates the language environment (bi'ah lughawiyyah) as an invisible curriculum in Arabic language learning through Ali Al-Hadidi's lens. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA framework, this study analyzed scholarly publications from 2020–2025 indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. The selected literature was examined using thematic synthesis and critical discourse analysis. The findings reveal that the language environment functions as an invisible curriculum that shapes learners' communicative competence, linguistic identity, disciplinary behavior, and cultural consciousness through everyday institutional practices. The study further demonstrates that Ali Al-Hadidi's educational thought implicitly reflects ecological and sociocultural approaches to language learning, emphasizing language habituation and collective interaction rather than grammar-centered instruction alone. This article contributes a new conceptual framework positioning the language environment as a curriculum ecosystem integrating formal instruction, social interaction, and institutional culture. The study concludes that the future of Arabic pedagogy in the post-method era depends on reconstructing immersive educational ecologies where language becomes a lived social and cultural experience.

Abstract

Educational management is a necessary tool to achieve educational goals. The application of management principles in the field of education is an element of internal management education. Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities in the field of education are part of education management. The management function is a fundamental part of every activity and will always be part of the management process. Internal managers will use it as a reference in carrying out activities to achieve goals. The management function is a fundamental component that will always exist and be ingrained in the management process. These functions will serve as a guide for managers as they carry out activities to achieve goals. In the 20th century, a French industrialist named Henry Fayol was the first to introduce management functions. The management function has not been fully implemented in educational institutions as a whole, errors or deficiencies often occur in educational institutions. Consequently, educational institutions must implement management functions to improve their quality. This is so that educational institutions can provide quality teaching and learning rights. Therefore understanding the implementation of educational management functions is necessary. Seven management functions, (Rahman, 2020), namely: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, Coordinating, Reporting.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a vital role in shaping students’ character, morality, and spirituality through the teaching of the Qur’an and Hadith as the core of Islamic values. One practical implementation at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Gemolong is the daily tadarus program conducted every morning before the start of classes. This study aims to examine the effect of the daily tadarus program on students’ learning achievement in the Qur’an and Hadith subject for seventh-grade students in the 2022/2023 academic year. The population of this study consists of all 215 students at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Gemolong, divided into three grade levels (VII, VIII, and IX). The research sample includes 35 students from grade VII, where the daily tadarus program is implemented most intensively as part of the school’s morning spiritual habituation. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and students’ academic records, and analyzed with SPSS version 25 through validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, and simple linear regression tests. The findings reveal that the daily tadarus program has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning achievement, with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05) and a determination coefficient of 0.251. This indicates that tadarus activities contribute 25.1% to the variation in students’ academic performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of the Ma'had flagship program for students receiving the Indonesia Smart Card for College (KIP-K) at IAIN Kerinci, covering aspects of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. The background of this study is the importance of managing dormitory-based coaching programs to support government affirmative policies while shaping student character and competence. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation of Ma'had managers, program supervisors, and KIP Kuliah recipient students. The results show that program planning is carried out systematically through work meetings and annual evaluations with three main focuses, namely Arabic, English, and Tahfidz Al-Qur'an. The organization is collaborative between administrators, supervisors, and students, while implementation is adaptive and disciplined through peer tutoring, discussions, and memorization assignments. Evaluations are conducted in layers, including daily, weekly, and semester assessments, although non-academic aspects such as discipline and attitude still require more objective assessment instruments. Overall, the Ma'had flagship program at IAIN Kerinci is effective in improving the academic, spiritual, and character competencies of KIP Kuliah students

Abstract

Although performance evaluation and curriculum implementation are crucial elements in educational transformation, practices in the field often face obstacles such as educators’ limited technological skills and a lack of innovation in evaluation models tailored to Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to evaluate performance assessment at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Falah to identify the quality of education and identify best practices that can serve as a model for educational quality improvement. The research method employed was a qualitative approach using a case study design, in which data were collected through in-depth interviews, passive participatory observation, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using an interactive model. The results indicate that the quality of education falls into the “good” category as assessed by organizational governance, public relations management, and student services. Key findings reveal the innovation of the Love-Based Curriculum as an internal curriculum integrated with the Merdeka Curriculum to strengthen character education through the values of compassion, empathy, and religiosity. Additionally, best practices were identified in the form of deep, student-centered learning transformation grounded in the pillars of awareness, meaningfulness, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze student satisfaction with the quality of learning services and to determine priority strategies for improving the learning process in higher education using an integrated Kano Model and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach. Methods: This research employed a quantitative descriptive method with data collected through questionnaires distributed to students. The attributes of learning services were analyzed using the Kano Model to classify service characteristics based on their influence on student satisfaction. Furthermore, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) was applied through the House of Quality (HoQ) matrix to translate student needs into technical improvement strategies. Results: The results show that all learning service attributes fall into the One-Dimensional category, indicating that improvements in these attributes directly increase student satisfaction. The priority attributes include teaching competence, learning strategies, learning facilities, and accessibility of online academic information. Novelty: This study provides a comprehensive model for improving the quality of higher education learning services through the integration of Voice of Customer, Kano Model, and QFD, which enables universities to systematically identify student needs and translate them into strategic improvements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of MBKM educational internship experience and teaching self-efficacy on students’ intention to become teachers among Economics Education students of the 2022–2023 cohort at Universitas Jambi. This research employed a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique involving 57 respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, and multiple linear regression to examine both partial and simultaneous effects. The results indicate that MBKM educational internship experience does not have a significant effect on the intention to become a teacher (sig. 0.085 > 0.05), while teaching self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence students’ intention to become teachers (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The novelty of this study lies in the finding that teaching self-efficacy plays a more dominant role than internship experience in shaping students’ intention to pursue a teaching career, highlighting the importance of strengthening psychological aspects in fostering interest in the teaching profession.
