Abstract

Limited communication between schools and parents often becomes an obstacle in optimizing student development. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in implementing the home visit program and its impact on student development at SD IT Al Hijrah 2 Deli Serdang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that teachers play comprehensive roles in the implementation of the home visit program, including as connectors, observers, guides, motivators, problem solvers, and evaluators. The home visit program has proven to have a positive impact on student development, both academically and non-academically, such as improving learning motivation, discipline, responsibility, and character building. In addition, the program enhances parental involvement and strengthens the relationship between schools and families. These findings confirm that home visit is an effective strategy for holistic student development through the integration of teacher and parent roles. This study implies the importance of strengthening collaboration between schools and families to support sustainable student development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of soft skills and work motivation on the job readiness of engineering students at Universitas Cendekia Abditama Tangerang. Job readiness is an important issue in higher education because graduates are expected to master technical competencies while also showing adaptability, responsibility, communication, teamwork, and internal motivation to meet workplace demands. This research used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population consisted of 44 sixth-semester students of the Informatics System Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, and all students were selected as respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The findings show that soft skills have a positive and significant effect on job readiness. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on job readiness. Simultaneously, both variables explain 64.7% of job readiness variance, with soft skills as the dominant predictor for improving graduate employability within structured higher education learning programs today effectively overall.

Abstract

The development of information technology is driving the transformation of education management towards a better more effective, efficient, and data-driven system. This article aims to examine the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in improving the effectiveness of education management through a literature review approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a literature review technique, through searching various recent scientific sources. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques to identify and synthesize previous research findings. The results of the study indicate that Management Information Systems play a significant role in improving administrative efficiency, the quality of data-driven decision-making, transparency, accountability, and the performance of educational institutions. Management Information Systems also enable real-time data integration that supports more responsive and accurate managerial processes. However, the implementation of Management Information Systems still faces various challenges, such as limited infrastructure, low human resource competency, suboptimal data quality, and resistance to change. On the other hand, Management Information Systems have significant potential to support the digital transformation of education through technological innovation, personalized learning, and the use of data analytics.

Abstract

The growth of social media has encouraged universities to utilize it as a digital marketing tool to increase audience engagement. This study aims to analyze social media marketing strategies for enhancing brand engagement at Islamic universities, specifically at STAI Al-Utsmani, Jambesari Darus Sholah, Bondowoso. The method used is a qualitative approach employing a case study and grounded research. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and a desk review of documents and social media content. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and verification, using content analysis, discourse analysis, and interpretive analysis techniques. The research results indicate that the dominance of informative content and low levels of digital interaction are the primary factors hindering audience engagement, while the integration of Islamic values has been shown to hold potential in enhancing emotional engagement. It is concluded that the success of social media marketing is not only determined by the intensity of posts but also by content quality, interactivity levels, and the relevance of the values conveyed. The implications of this study underscore the importance of transforming social media marketing strategies through the development of more interactive, creative, and Islamic-value-based content to sustainably enhance brand engagement.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of sharia-based digital marketing strategies in Islamic education and its impact on student loyalty. This research focuses on how marketing strategies aligned with sharia principles can build long-term relationships between educational institutions and students, as well as increase their loyalty. The method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations of management and students. The results of the study show that digital marketing that prioritizes Islamic moral values, such as honesty and character development, can increase student loyalty by strengthening a sense of trust and attachment to institutions. Sharia-based marketing also manages to avoid the element of materialism and focuses more on the quality of education and character of students. The implications of this study show the importance of Islamic educational institutions to implement marketing strategies in accordance with sharia principles in order to strengthen student loyalty and create a positive image of the institution. This research also contributes to the development of educational marketing theories based on Islamic values that can be applied in other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze digital branding strategies in Islamic schools in improving the image of the institution and attracting new students. The research focus includes the effectiveness of social media, websites, and digital content in shaping the public's positive perception of schools. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case studies in Islamic schools that have implemented active digital branding. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with marketing teams, observation of social media accounts, and digital content analysis. The analysis was carried out using thematic coding techniques to identify strategic patterns, competitive advantages, and their impact on student engagement. Results show that the use of consistent, interactive, and informative digital content increases public awareness, strengthens the school's reputation, and encourages increased enrollment. Storytelling strategies based on Islamic values and academic achievement have proven effective in building a positive image. These findings provide practical guidance for Islamic education managers to design a structured digital branding strategy, increase student attractiveness, and strengthen the institution's position in the digital era. The results of the research are also the basis for the development of sustainable digital marketing practices in faith-based educational institutions.

Abstract

Technological advancements are driving educational institutions to build their image and competitiveness through digital branding strategies. This study aims to evaluate the digital branding strategy at MA Manbaul Ulum Tangsil Wetan Bondowoso, particularly from the audience’s perspective regarding the implementation of such branding. This study employs a qualitative method using a case study approach and grounded theory. Research data were collected through interviews, observations, and desk reviews from informants such as students, parents, and institutional administrators. Data was analyzed through the stages of data condensation, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results indicate that although the organization utilizes digital platforms to disseminate academic information and religious activities, there is a lack of audience engagement and depth in the religious content presented. The audience felt that digital branding emphasized academic information more and placed less emphasis on religious values as the institution’s identity. These findings underscore the importance of Islamic educational institutions balancing the delivery of academic information and religious value-based content, as well as enhancing audience engagement through digital communication to strengthen relationships with the audience.

Abstract

This study examines Tasyji'ul Lughoh as a micro-immersion model to strengthen Arabic proficiency in a modern Islamic boarding school. Unlike full immersion that requires continuous exposure, this model offers structured weekly interventions. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving teachers, student coordinators, and santriwati. The findings reveal four key mechanisms: (1) structured weekly exposure sustaining linguistic input, (2) collective error correction (islah lughah) enhancing grammatical awareness, (3) socially reinforced interaction fostering language habit formation, and (4) affective engagement increasing learners’ confidence and willingness to communicate. These interconnected elements form a holistic language learning ecosystem integrating cognitive, social, and emotional dimensions. This study introduces micro-immersion as a flexible and scalable alternative to full immersion, particularly in contexts with limited language exposure. The findings have significant implications for language pedagogy and institutional policy, emphasizing the importance of structured, socially embedded, and sustainable language interventions to achieve communicative competence.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a key factor influencing students’ success in achieving learning objectives. This study aims to describe classroom management strategies at MTsN Darul Ihsan Abu Hasan Krueng Kalee and their contribution to students’ learning motivation. This study is based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT), which focuses on the fulfillment of psychological needs such as autonomy, competence, and relatedness. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that teachers implement comprehensive strategies, including creating a comfortable classroom environment, establishing shared classroom rules, enforcing discipline, and conducting systematic lesson planning through modules and lesson plans. Additionally, the use of varied methods such as quizzes, games, and rewards has proven effective in enhancing learning motivation. These strategies were able to increase learning motivation, reduce boredom, and encourage active student participation. The implications of this research indicate that well-planned, humanistic, and student-centered classroom management can meet the needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness, thereby fostering sustainable learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing principals’ decision-making in improving teacher performance at SMK Bina Latih Karya Bandar Lampung. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that principals’ decision-making is influenced by personal factors, school culture, and the availability of information. These three factors contribute significantly to the improvement of teacher performance, particularly in terms of professionalism, discipline, and the quality of instruction. This study contributes to the development of educational management studies, especially in relation to contextual and participatory decision-making.
