Abstract

The study aims to analyze the development of professionalism in the management of educators and education personnel at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bina Putra Mandiri Parung Panjang Bogor. Professionalism development is an essential aspect in improving the quality of vocational education, particularly in preparing competent graduates who are ready to face the demand of the industrial world. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to obtain an in-depth understanding of management practices related to teacher and education staff development. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving school leaders, teachers, and administrative staff. The findings show that professionalism development is implemented through various programs such as training workshops, academic supervision, in-house training, and performance evaluation. The principal plays a key role as an instructional leader in planning and implementing human resource developments programs. However, several challenges were identified, including differences in teachers digital competencies and limited access to training resources. Overall, the study concludes that professionalism development in the school has begin implemented quite well but still requires continuous improvement to achieve optimal educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school facilities and infrastructure on students’ learning outcomes at SD Palurahan 1, Kadu Hejo District, Pandeglang Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach using a causal associative method to analyze the relationship between school facilities and infrastructure variables and students’ learning outcomes. The population consisted of all upper-grade students, while the sample included 60 students selected through proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires to measure school facilities and infrastructure conditions and report card documentation to determine students’ learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that school facilities and infrastructure were categorized as good, and students’ learning outcomes were also categorized as good. Hypothesis testing indicated that school facilities and infrastructure had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination showed a contribution of approximately 35%, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors outside this study. Therefore, school facilities and infrastructure play an important role in improving the quality of students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal's transformational leadership and industrial partnerships on students' employability skills at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi. Motivated by the high unemployment rate among vocational high school graduates, which indicates a competency gap between graduates' skills and industry demands, this study employed a quantitative correlational approach using a survey technique. The population consisted of 1,340 eleventh and twelfth-grade students, with a sample of 136 respondents selected through proportional sampling. Data were collected using a valid and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using Ordinal Logistic Regression with SPSS 26. The results showed that both principal's transformational leadership and industrial partnerships significantly influence students' employability skills. The Nagelkerke value of 0.814 indicates that both variables together explain 81.4% of the variance in employability skills. The novelty of this research lies in the simultaneous integration of both variables within the context of vocational education using the Ordinal Logistic Regression approach.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the implementation of the Full Day School policy at SMAN 8 Batanghari, which still faces various challenges in improving students’ learning motivation. The implementation of the Full Day School system requires effective learning management in order to create a conducive learning environment and increase student involvement in the learning process. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Full Day School policy in improving students’ learning motivation at SMAN 8 Batanghari. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data validity used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the Full Day School policy had been carried out through integrated intracurricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular activities. This system was able to improve students’ discipline, activeness, and learning motivation, as well as provide opportunities for students to develop their interests and talents. However, there were still several obstacles in its implementation, such as learning boredom due to long study hours, limited facilities and infrastructure, and students’ physical and mental fatigue. Supporting factors in implementing this policy included support from the school, teachers, parents, and varied and well-directed learning activities.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the management of educators and education personnel (PTK) in improving teacher professionalism in elementary schools through the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Research participants consisted of principals, teachers, and education personnel selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that PTK management has been implemented systematically through the application of POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) functions. Program planning is carried out based on teacher needs through supervision and discussion, organization is carried out routinely through workshops, training, Teacher Working Groups (KKG), and academic supervision, while supervision is carried out through class supervision, evaluation, and follow-up coaching. The main supporting factors include teacher enthusiasm and a structured program, while inhibiting factors are limited time and facilities. The novelty of this study lies in an in-depth study of the implementation of PTK management in improving teacher professionalism in elementary schools using a qualitative study approach that emphasizes the integration of management functions with continuous academic supervision.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the deep learning curriculum as an innovative transformation to improve learning quality in educational institutions. The research was motivated by the shift toward active, reflective, contextual, and student-centered learning in 21st-century education. A qualitative case study approach was conducted at a secondary school implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Participants included the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings revealed that the deep learning curriculum increased students’ engagement, motivation, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking through meaningful and contextual learning activities. Teachers also played a greater role as facilitators in creating participatory and reflective classrooms. Nevertheless, several obstacles remained, particularly limited pedagogical competence among teachers and inadequate learning facilities. This study contributes to the development of innovative learning strategies for improving educational quality in schools and strengthening sustainable curriculum innovation in contemporary educational practices for institutional transformation and long-term instructional improvement across diverse settings.

Abstract

Objective:  This study aims to formulate the concept of Progressive Islam as a paradigm for the renewal of contemporary Islamic thought in Indonesia. The concept developed by Muhammadiyah is understood as a response to the challenges of modernity, globalization, and increasingly complex socio-religious dynamics. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were collected through literature studies from books, scientific journals, and relevant official documents, then analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify the concepts, characteristics, and relevance of Progressive Islam in the contemporary context. The findings indicate that Progressive Islam is a paradigm emphasizing the integration of tawhid values, rationality, openness to scientific advancement, religious moderation, and orientation toward social justice and public welfare. This paradigm also highlights the importance of contextual ijtihad in responding to contemporary issues such as pluralism, democracy, intolerance, and technological development. The novelty of this study lies in formulating Progressive Islam as an epistemological paradigm that is not only normative-theological but also transformative, inclusive, and applicable in Indonesian social life.

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between online engagement and feminine identity in developing brand loyalty among cosmetic consumers in the digital marketplace. The growth of social media has changed how cosmetic brands communicate with consumers, particularly women who express their self-image, confidence, and lifestyle through beauty products. The study aims to analyze the influence of digital interaction, emotional attachment, and feminine identity on consumer loyalty toward cosmetic brands. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied by involving cosmetic consumers who actively use digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and online shopping applications. Data were gathered through interviews, online observations, and consumer responses related to cosmetic brand activities. The findings show that interactive digital content, influencer marketing, personalized communication, and emotional engagement contribute significantly to strengthening brand loyalty. In addition, feminine identity plays an important role in shaping purchasing decisions and long-term commitment to cosmetic brands. Consumers are more loyal to brands that reflect their personal values, beauty standards, confidence, and social identity. Therefore, effective cosmetic branding requires authentic digital engagement to maintain sustainable consumer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of managerial supervision in improving school quality at SMP Negeri 8 Binjai, covering aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up, and the challenges encountered. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of the principal, vice principal, teachers, and education staff selected through purposive sampling. The results of the study indicate that managerial supervision has been implemented through relatively systematic stages. In the planning stage, supervision is designed based on school needs and previous evaluation results by determining focus areas, schedules, and supervision instruments. In the implementation stage, supervision is carried out through monitoring, guidance, and collaborative discussions between supervisors and school stakeholders. In the evaluation stage, supervision is conducted through reflection and follow-up discussions; however, weaknesses were still found in the documentation aspect, which has not been optimally organized. The follow-up of supervision is carried out through administrative improvements, adjustment of work programs, and strengthening coordination among school components.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze innovative collaboration management strategies amid the development of digital technology and their impact on organizational effectiveness. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by reviewing various scientific literature, books, journals, theses, dissertations, and relevant regulations published within the last ten years. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentation and content analysis to obtain an in-depth understanding of digital-based collaboration management transformation. The findings revealed that the development of digital technology has transformed organizational collaboration patterns from conventional systems into technology-based collaborative systems. The innovative strategies implemented include the utilization of digital communication platforms, data-based management information systems, strengthening human resource digital literacy, and developing organizational cultures adaptive to technological changes. The implementation of these strategies improves communication effectiveness, operational efficiency, organizational transparency, and the expansion of collaboration networks. However, several challenges remain, such as data security, unequal access to technology, and resistance to change. Therefore, organizations need to strengthen digital infrastructure and improve human resource competencies to optimally face the challenges of digital transformation.
