Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, work discipline, and work environment on teacher performance at SMPN 5 Kupang. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population is all 56 teachers with PNS and PPPK status at SMP Negeri 5 Kupang, with a sampling technique using saturated sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-based questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results: (1) The study shows that partially the transformational leadership style does not have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance; (2) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance; (3) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance; (4) Simultaneously, transformational leadership style, work discipline, and work environment have a significant effect on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Kupang. Novelty: This study confirms that the improvement of teacher performance is more influenced by internal factors and work environment conditions than the direct influence of transformational leadership style. This finding provides an understanding that transformational leadership plays a role as a supporting factor that strengthens the effectiveness of work discipline and work environment in improving teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning independence on learning achievement and learning styles of students enrolled in the Package C Equivalency Education program at PKBM Tunas Mekar. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research subjects involved 58 Package C students. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) and linear regression. The results show that learning independence has a significant effect on the learning achievement of students. However, learning independence does not have a direct effect on learning styles. Overall, learning independence plays a role in supporting the smoothness and effectiveness of the learning process in equivalency education. The novelty of this study lies in its empirical study of learning independence in non-formal education, particularly in the Package C Equivalency Education program at PKBM. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of learning that encourages the improvement of learning independence among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of students' sports and arts skills through the management of learning facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Bangkunat Belimbing. The focus of the study is on the planning, utilization, and control of facilities and infrastructure in supporting the improvement of students' skills, participation, and self-confidence. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of the principal, vice principal in charge of student affairs, as well as sports and arts teachers. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the optimization of sports and arts skills is achieved through the planning of facilities and infrastructure that is carried out in stages and based on the real needs of students. The use of facilities is carried out in a scheduled and controlled manner in both learning and extracurricular activities. This management has a positive impact on increasing student enthusiasm, active participation, and self-confidence, as well as significantly improving technical sports and arts skills. This research emphasizes the specific management of facilities and infrastructure as a strategy for improving students' sports and arts skills, which has been rarely discussed in previous educational management studies.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the implementation of evaluations conducted by the Head of Administration to improve the performance] of educational staff in administrative services, and identify factors that support and hinder the implementation of evaluations in vocational high schools in Jambi Province. This study is qualitative study with a descriptive approach through observation and interviews. The results indicate that the implementation of evaluations by the Head of administration is carried out in a structured manner through the stages of evaluation planning, performance data collection, performance assessment, providing feedback, and follow-up in the form of coaching. The performance of educational staff in services is generally considered good, however, several educational staff still exhibited suboptimal levels of discipline, this affecting the smooth running of school administrative services. The findings also indicate several supporting and inhibiting factors, including clear performance standards, a technologi- based assessment system, and good communication between staff. The novelity of this study lies in the finding that the implementation of evaluations by the Head of administration influences the performance of educational staff ini school administrative services.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to determine the validity and effectiveness of the development of interactive multimedia based on ethnomathematics material on the characteristics of flat shapes for fourth grade elementary school students. This research and development uses the ADDIE model which consists of the stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research were teachers and 27 fourth grade students of SDN Mrican 2. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this research show that. (1) The results of the material expert validity test were 94% with very valid criteria and media experts 78% with valid criteria. (2)The results of the limited test student effectiveness test obtained an average of 84.2% and the broad test student effectiveness test obtained an average of 83.5%. Both effectiveness assessments obtained a very effective category. It can be concluded that the Ethnomathematics-Based Interactive Multimedia on the Characteristics of Flat Shapes for Grade IV Elementary School Students is stated to be very effective for use in learning the material on the characteristics of flat shapes in grade IV SDN Mrican 2.

Abstract

This research and development aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the KOKAREL (Electronic Cartoon Comic) media for the life cycle of plants for grade IV of Elementary School. This research and development uses the ADDIE model which consists of the stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research were teachers and 32 grade IV students of SDN 1 Grogol, Kediri Regency. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that (1) The results of the validity test of material experts were 90% and media experts were 86%, both scores obtained showed very valid criteria. (2) The results of the practicality test showed a percentage of teacher response scores of 92%. Then, the results of the student practicality test in the limited trial obtained a percentage of 82.8% and the student practicality test in the broad trial obtained a percentage of 86.4%. The results of the practicality test for teachers and students showed very practical criteria. (3) The results of the effectiveness test in the limited trial obtained an average pretest score of 66.4 and an average posttest score of 81.4. Then, in the extensive trial, an average pretest score of 69.2 and an average posttest score of 84 were obtained. This shows an increase in learning outcomes before and after using the KOKAREL (Electronic Cartoon Comic) learning media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor psikologis konsumen terhadap keputusan pembelian jasa fotografi pada Photostudio Snap di Purwakarta. Faktor psikologis yang dikaji meliputi motivasi, persepsi, sikap, dan kepercayaan sebagai variabel yang berpotensi membentuk perilaku konsumen dalam memilih layanan studio foto. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS) yang diolah melalui SmartPLS. Sampel terdiri dari 94 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling, yaitu konsumen yang telah menggunakan layanan Photostudio Snap. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner skala Likert dengan indikator-indikator reflektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan dan keputusan pembelian, sedangkan kepercayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen. Sementara itu, motivasi dan persepsi tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap baik kepercayaan maupun keputusan pembelian. Nilai R-Square sebesar 0,878 pada variabel keputusan pembelian mencerminkan kuatnya kemampuan model dalam menjelaskan variabel dependen. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa sikap positif dan keyakinan konsumen memainkan peran penting dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian pada layanan fotografi.

Abstract

Parental participation is a critical determinant of student success, yet participation levels vary significantly in industrial regions like Purwakarta. This study aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial effects of parental motivation, parent-school communication, and family environment on parental participation (academic and non-academic) using a multivariate approach. This quantitative research employed a survey method with purposive sampling of 50 parents in Purwakarta. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS software, which is suitable for analyzing smaller sample sizes. The multivariate analysis reveals that family environment is the most dominant factor, significantly influencing both academic participation (β=0.435, p=0.012) and non-academic participation (β=0.361, p=0.025). Parent-school communication significantly affects academic participation (β=0.302, p=0.022) but not non-academic participation (β=0.275, p=0.061). Interestingly, parental motivation alone does not have a significant effect on either academic (β=0.251, p=0.081) or non-academic participation (β=0.090, p=0.524). This study highlights the "intention-behavior gap" in an industrial society context, proving that a supportive home environment and effective communication are more critical drivers of participation than motivation alone.

Abstract

Teaching materials often lack contextualization and responsiveness to contemporary issues facing students, such as religiously motivated hoaxes and digital polarization. As a result, a gap exists between the ideals of moderation advocated and students' competency in applying them, making the need for curriculum revitalization urgent.This study aims to develop a curriculum model for Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in public universities to address the challenges of intolerance. Grounded in social reconstruction theory, the model extracts values of religious moderation—tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i‘tidal (justice)—from Risalah Ahlussunnah wal Jama‘ah by KH. Hasyim Asy‘ari. Through content analysis, evaluation of the existing curriculum, and focus group discussions (FGDs), gaps between needs and current practices were identified. The result is a reconstructionist curriculum prototype featuring contextual materials and problem-based learning strategies. The model has been validated by experts and tested for readability, demonstrating high feasibility in shaping students as agents of moderation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of teachers’ work climate and job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously, on teachers’ work loyalty at public senior high schools in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City. Teachers’ work loyalty is understood as a form of professional commitment and responsibility toward the school organization, which is influenced by the prevailing work climate and the level of job satisfaction perceived by teachers. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research population consisted of 141 civil servant teachers and non-permanent teachers at three public senior high schools in Nusaniwe District, with a sample of 104 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that teachers’ work climate has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ work loyalty, contributing 51.5%, while teachers’ job satisfaction contributes 63.3%. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on teachers’ work loyalty with a contribution of 63.5%. The novelty of this study lies in the simultaneous examination of these two variables within the context of public senior high schools in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City.
