Al Qodiri : Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Keagamaan diterbitkan oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al-Qodiri Jember. Jurnal ini memuat kajian-kajian pendidikan, Sosial dan Keagamaan. Terbit dua kali dalam setahun pada bulan April dan Agustus. Redaksi mengundang para akademisi, dosen, maupun peneliti untuk berkontribusi memasukkan artikel ilmiahnya yang belum pernah diterbitkan oleh jurnal lain. Naskah diketik dengan spasi 1,5 cm pada kertas ukuran A4 dengan panjang tulisan antara 20-25 halaman, 7000-9000 kata. Naskah yang masuk dievaluasi oleh dewan redaksi dan mitra bestari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematika materi bangun datar antara peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksprerimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IV MI Ma’arif NU Manba’ur Rohmah Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik nonprobability Sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Sampel penelitian dilakukan pada kelas IV A dan IV B, dimana dua kelas sampel diberi perlakuan berbeda. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa model pembelajaran SAVI dapat dikatakan efektif dalam pemahaman konsep matematika materi bangun datar di kelas IV MI Ma’arif NU Manba’ur Rohmah. Dengan hasil uji independent T-test yang dilakukan menunjukkan nilai sig (2-tailed) ≤ 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,000 maka hasil keputusan yang dapat disimpulkan yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika materi bangun datar antara peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Life for people banded heavily on language. Humans always use language as a means of communication while interacting with others. Therefor, Indonesian language is made a required subject at all academic levels. One of the skills that must be mastered by students of the four language skills is speaking skills. This study was motivated by the low speaking skills of grade V students when participating in Indonesian language learning activities. This research was conducted at SDN 6 Sindangkasih with 18 research subjects. The purpose of this study is to improve learning activities so as to increase students' speaking activities and skills by using the Show and Tell learning method. The type of research used in this study is class action research. The results showed an increase in teacher activity, student activity, and student speaking skills. Cycle I the average acquisition of students' speaking skills amounted to 68,88 with the number of students who completed learning 10 people and students who did not complete learning 8 people. In cycle II, the average acquisition of students' speaking skills was 79,44 with the number of students who had completed learning 16 people and students who did not complete learning 2 people. With this, the application of the Show and Tell learning method is proven to be able to improve learning activities during the learning process so that it can improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The use of English is something that must be present in a learning that is integrated into every other activity. English is very important to learn, because to communicate between nations, because English is an international language. Mastery of vocabulary is the most important part of being able to communicate fluently. This research was motivated by the lack of teaching staff at the school to teach English language learning, then about the quality of students who are still low in English vocabulary, and limited teaching aids or learning media. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Pesanggrahan with the subject of 21 students. The aim of this research is to improve teacher and student activities and English vocabulary skills with a picture and picture type cooperative learning model with the help of flash card media. The type of research used is classroom action research. The results of the study showed an increase in teacher and student activity, as well as English vocabulary skills. Based on the acquisition of the first cycle, the average acquisition of students' English vocabulary skills was 70.00% in the good category, there were 16 students exceeding KKM 70. In the second cycle, the average English vocabulary ability of students was 83.80% with a very good category, there were 19 students exceeding KKM 70. Abstract

Religious conflict in Indonesia is still ongoing, and this conflict occurs because of differences in beliefs framed by mere egoism. Religious conflicts do not look at the conditions that arise in society nor the values ​​of tolerance in religion. A religiously Inclusive Society can be realized if there is social acceptance, institutions, and participation from the community. Religiously Inclusive Society built in the village of Sukoreno Umbulsari Jember cannot be separated from the acculturation process of the local culture. One of them is the ambengan tradition held by the Muslim community of Sukoreno village. This ambengan is not only attended by the Muslim community but also Christians, Catholics, and Hindus. Ambengan was carried out in the mosque, which continued with the reading of Yasin and istighosah with the interfaith community. This research has two research focuses, namely 1) How is the acculturation process of the Muslim minority Ambengan tradition in Sukoreno Village?; 2) What is the tolerance pattern for minority Muslims as a result of acculturating the ambengan tradition? This study uses a qualitative approach. The data was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data was then analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods. The study results show that 1) The acculturation process of the ambengan tradition occurs because of shared beliefs with the principle of village-harmonization. This village harmonization can also be seen in the citrus agro-industry network built by the Sukoreno village community; 2) The tolerance pattern of minority Muslims as a result of the acculturation of the ambengan tradition forms a Sufistic-ethical relationship, namely, the obedience of faith and the firmness of customs. The ambengan tradition, a tradition of the Muslim community, is attended and followed by Christians, Catholics, and Hindus to carry out the Koran and istighosah together in the mosque (Ngaji Bersama-Lintas Agama). Likewise, the traditions carried out by non-Muslim communities are also attended to and followed by the Muslim community. This research is essential as a reference for the model of interfaith tolerance that occurs in Sukoreno village. As for the novelty of this research, in addition to the model/pattern of interaction formed, there is also the principle of village harmonization (as the beginning of cultural acculturation) which can build villages independently with the citrus agro-industry network.

Abstract: This research aims at four goals to know the oldest theory of learning behavioral, cognitive and constructivist, as well as to benefit from the three theories in teaching the second language of a university student in Indonesia, either the entrance to the research used by the researcher is the qualitative entrance, which is the research that aims to discover the manifestations, and the design of the research is the descriptive design, a research that aims to describe or visualize the manifestations of the occurrence, whether natural or industrial, or the results of this research is knowledge presented by behavioral and cognitive learning theory and constructivism as well as benefiting from the three theories in teaching the second language of a university student in Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to explain the application of the Talking Stick learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes in polygonal shape material for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sedarat, Kec. Balong, Kab. Ponorogo. The problems that are often encountered in learning activities where the low enthusiasm of students in participating in learning is due to the learning process that is packaged by teachers who are less innovative and varied, so this is the background for researchers to design learning models that can solve these problems. The talking stick learning model which is more game-based is expected to be able to attract the enthusiasm of students in participating in classroom learning activities and also provide space for students at SDN 1 Sedarat to be more active, and willing to work together with others. The type of research conducted by researchers is the Kemmis & McTaggart Class Action Research model. The stages in this study were carried out in two cycles divided into 4 meetings. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students at SDN 1 Sedarat Kec. Balong, Ponorogo Regency, totaling 17 children. The increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning polygonal shape material with the talking stick model can be seen from the percentage of learning completeness in cycle I of 58.82%, while the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle II rises to 88.23%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of classroom action research related to improving students' speaking skills using the role playing method. This research was conducted on class VIII A students of SMPN 1 Barat with a total of 32 students. This study uses a research model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The approach in this study uses a qualitative description. While the data collection technique was carried out using tests and non-tests in the form of observation widths. Analysis of the data for each cycle showed that in cycle 1 the completeness of the students only reached 71.85%, which means they had not reached the target of completeness. In addition, the non-test results showed that the increase in students' speaking skills using the role playing method in cycle 1 reached 53.14%. (Less) and increased in the second cycle to 90.64%. Abstract

Scientific literacy ability is one of the abilities that must be mastered by students in learning science. The low scientific literacy ability of elementary school students is the background of this research: 1) Assess and analyze the increase in scientific literacy skills of elementary school students who receive the STEM approach assisted by articulate storyline 3 blood at work as compared to students who receive learning with a conventional approach; 2) Knowing the effect of the STEM approach assisted by articulate storyline 3 blood at work on the scientific literacy abilities of elementary school students. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design on the topic of the circulatory system with a total of 60 students as subjects. The instrument used to obtain data before and after learning is the scientific literacy ability test instrument. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded: 1) Increasing the scientific literacy skills of students who receive the STEM approach assisted by articulate storyline 3 blood at work is better than students who receive conventional learning, and 2) There is an effect of learning using the STEM approach assisted by articulate storyline 3 blood at work on students' scientific literacy abilities. Abstract

In Indonesian language learning, there are four aspects of language skills that are developed, namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. All four aspects are important and needed. One aspect of language skills taught at school is writing skills. This study was motivated by the low writing skills of fifth grade students. This research was conducted at SDN Kaumpandak 02 with 21 research subjects. The purpose of this research is to improve learning activities so that there is an increase in teacher and student activities and improve the results of grade V students' skills in writing narrative essays by applying the Picture and Picture learning model. The type of research used in this study is class action research. Based on the results of the average acquisition that has been known, at the pre-cycle stage students obtained an average score of 57.85. Cycle I students obtained an average score of 67.47 with 8 students who completed learning, while 13 students who did not complete learning. Cycle II students obtained an average score of 76 with a total of 15 students who completed learning, while 6 students who did not complete learning. It can be concluded that the application of Picture and Picture learning model assisted by comic image media can improve students' narrative essay writing skills.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low reading skills of third grade students when participating in Indonesian language learning activities. The research was conducted at SDN 6 Sindangkasih with 17 research subjects. The purpose of the research is to improve the process of learning activities, especially reading comprehension skills so that it can increase students' activities and reading comprehension skills by using the Directed Reading Thinking Activity strategy. The type of research used is classroom action research. The results showed an increase in teacher activities, student activities and students' reading comprehension skills. Based on the acquisition of the average learning outcomes of reading comprehension skills there was a pre-cycle of 61.75 with the number of students who completed learning amounted to 4 people and students who did not complete learning amounted to 13 people. Cycle I the average acquisition of students' reading comprehension skills was 71.47 with 11 students who were complete and 6 students who were not complete. In cycle II, the average acquisition of students' reading comprehension skills was 82.94 with 16 students who completed their learning and 1 student who did not complete their learning. With this, the application of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity learning strategy is proven to be able to improve learning activities during the learning process so that it can improve students' reading comprehension skills.
