Abstract

The purpose of this reseach was to identifythe influence of organizational culture,leadership and working motivation toemployee’s satisfaction at PT. PelabuhanIndonesia III (Persero) Branch Tanjung EmasSemarang. Questionnaire, Interview andliterature studies were the instruments to useto collect data. Questionnaires weredistributed to 60 employee’s as respondents.The data analysis used the method of multiplelinier regression coefficient analysis.Regression analysis was used to determinethe influence of organizational culture,leadership and working motivation toemployee’s satisfaction. Data were processedusing SPSS v.17.0. The result of this study isthat the calculation of regression coefficientobtained Y = 1,585 +0,270X1 + 0,197X2+0,340 X3 It meant that result of regressiongave positive influence on employee’ssatisfaction, and the influence of workingmotivation was greater than the othervariables.The result of t-test, tcount value ofculture organization was 2.723, leadershipwas 2.611, working motivation was 3.096.and ttable value was 1.673. from these resultmay be known the tcount> ttable so Ha accepted,which meant that partial test of organizationculture. leadership, and working motivationhad positive effect for workingsatisfaction.The result of F-test, Fcount value oforganization culture, leadership, and workingmotivation was 47.392 and Ftable value was2.796, value of Fcount> Ftable so Ha would beaccepted, which meant that simultaneouslyorganizational culture, leadership danworking motivation had positive effect onemployee’s satisfaction. The coefficient ofdetermination was 0,702. It meant that theemployee’s satisfaction of 70,2% wasinfluenced by organizational culture,leadership and working motivation, while therest of 29,8% was influenced by the otherfactors.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the financial performance of PT. Industri Jamu and Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. after conducted the Initial Public Offering (IPO) period of 2014 - 2018 and its influence toward the profit growth. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method by SPSS 25  was used in this study equipped with the Classic Assumption Test and Coefficient of Determination to analyze the influence of current ratio (X1), debt to asset ratio (X2), total asset turnover ratio (X3), return on equity (X4), and earning per share (X5) as independent variables on profit growth as dependent variable. The data were secondary data obtained from the annual report and financial report of PT Industri Jamu and  Farmasi Sido Muncul.The result showed that overall the financial performance of PT Industri Jamu and Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. after the IPO was in good condition even though fluctuated. Meanwhile, the multiple linear regression analysis results showed that partially, the variable of total asset turnover ratio has positive significant and earning per share has a negative significant influence on profit growth. However, the other variables have an insignificant influence on profit growth. On the other hand, Simultaneously all of the independent variables significantly influence profit growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work environment, compensation, and competence on the employee work satisfaction at Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Analysis of the data used in instrumental test are validity and reliability test, method of collection data are questionaire and intreview, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. There are 50 respondents in this research who the government employees, by using purposive sampling method. The results of the hypothesis indicate that the work environment and compensation are partially had no significant affect on the work satisfaction, while the competence were significantly affect on work satisfaction. The results of the coefficient of determination indicate that work environment, compensation and competence affect work satisfaction as much as 63.5%. While the remaining 34.5% work satisfaction influenced by other factors are not examined in this study.

Abstract

PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia has beenapplying some criteria of the KM. However,the company have not manage and exploit itin such a way yet. The purposes of thisresearch are (1)to know the implementationof the KM in PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesiaand (2)to measure how large the efficiency ofthe KM which is already running. Thetechniques of data collection arequestionnaire and literature study. DataEnvelopment Analysis (DEA) and descriptiveanalysis are used as methods in this study.The result of the study showed that (1)theprocess of the KM which is implemented canbe classified into 4 knowledge conversionmodel SECI (Socialization, Externalization,Combination, Internalization) and most ofthem are belong to socialization process.(2)The results of the measurements using theDEA showed that 9 departments of 12departments of PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesiahave been applying the KM efficiently and therest, 3 of departments have not being efficientyet, i.e. Claim Business, Brokerage Businessand IT&OPTIMUS. Therefore, needs toformalize the application of the KM system onPT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia throughapplication of Community of Practice System.

Abstract

As one of payment methods in international trade of goods, letter of credit is used more and more by exporters and importers all over the world. Letter of credit is commonly written as a text in English, which needs interpretation. The interpretation on L/C text also needs another text, i,e Uniform of Customs and Practice for Documentary Credit (UCP-DC) - an international publication by International Chamber of Commerce.  The failure in interpreting an L/C may cause financial loss for an exporter, an importer or paying bank, because the L/C contains instructions directly or indirectly for parties involved in the operative L/C. This article is written with 2 (two) aims. Firstly, it is aimed at interpreting both the implied and explicit instructions in letter of credit, and secondly at giving inspiration to English teachers to learn subjects other than English study. The first aim is unquestionable because the correct interpretation may lead to a success in flow of goods, documents of the goods, and payment. The second aim is crucial in relation to giving broader horizon to English teachers or lecturers, because English teachers are required to improve their knowledge when teaching commercial correspondence for international trade of goods (export-import of commodities). Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the influence of service quality to behavioral intention of Museum Manusia Purba Sangiran touristswith satisfaction as an intervening variable. Analysis tool utilized is the path analysis.Samples taken were 314 respondents and set up purposive sampling method. Based on the results obtained found that the variable quality of service and traveler satisfaction significant positive effect on behavioral intention travelers Museum Manusia Purba Sangiran. Satisfaction as intervening variables have a significant influence on the intention tourist behavior and value is more dominant than the quality of service. Keywords: Service quality, Satisfaction, Behavior intention ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap niat perilaku Museum Manusia Purba Sangiran terhadap kepuasan wisatawan sebagai variabel intervening. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur. Contoh yang diambil adalah 314 responden dan menyusun metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan wisatawan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku wisatawan pelancong Museum Manusia Purba Sangiran. Abstract

The process of formulating the curriculum of the Marketing Management Studies Programinvolves the academic community in the Department of Business Administration, industry,professional associations, and alumni. The formulation of the curriculum provides guidance indeveloping an annual activity plan, which contains a series of activities to achieve graduateswho are qualified and able to compete and be able to respond and adapt to environmentalchanges relevant to stakeholder needs and the development of science and technology. Theresults of research course lead to the formulation of a quality curriculum based on the distinctiveadvantages of Marketing Management Program. The sampling technique used in this research isaccidental sampling method in this case is the alumni of Marketing Management study. Thisresearch technique will use two approaches: 1). Confirmatory factor analysis, on StructuralEquation Modeling (SEM); and 2). Regression Weight in Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The outline of the model in this research can give positive contribution for the curriculum ofMarketing Management Study Program in order to realize the quality of the graduates that theuser wants, either in the form of suggestions of managerial implications, the formulation ofcurriculum development and textbook material. Abstract

Sales performance has significant role toward marketing performance of a company. Sales performance is constitutedfrom the resultan of salesperson performance in a company. The purpose of this research is to build sales management  model in order to increase sales perfomance  through promoting interpersonal skills, salesmanship  and technical skills of salesperson. Questionnaire is used for collecting data from the salesperson. Multiple linier regression is used to analyze data. The results of this reseach show that interpersonal skills, salesmanships skills and technical skills of salesperson have positive impact toward sales perfomance. Thus, the sales management model is properly  implemented by a company.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) the influence of job stress on turnover intention at PT Sinar Mutiara Cakrabuana, (2) The influence of job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT Sinar Mutiara Cakrabuana, and (3) The influence of job stress and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT Sinar Mutiara Cakrabuana. The collecting data methods used in this study were interview, questionnaires, and literature studies. The scale of questionnaires used agree-disagree scale with 10 point scale. The sample in this study were 60 Sales employees of PT Sinar Mutiara Cakrabuana. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results of multiple linear regression showed that job stress had a positive and significant influence on turnover intention, and job satisfaction had a negative and significant influence on turnover intention. Job stress and job satisfaction given contribute 30.4% to turnover intention. That means that 30.4% turnover intention was explained by job stress and job satisfaction, while 69.6% was explained by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1). Analyzing Quality of Work Life (QWL) in Educational Personnel at Semarang State Polytechnic, 2). Analyzing the effect of Quality Of Work Life (QWL) factors on job satisfaction of Educational Personnel at Semarang State Polytechnic, 3). Analyzing which factors of Quality of Work Life (QWL) should be improved to achieve job satisfaction Education Personnel at Semarang State Polytechnic. Research conducted on 67 Education Personnel in Semarang State Polytechnic, the results of the analysis of the Effect of Quality of Work Life (QWL) consisting of Compensation, Career Development, Communication, Safe Environment, Occupational Health, Safety, Work on Conflict Resolution, Pride and Employee Participation on Job Satisfaction. Obtained the regression equation as follows: Y = 0.685 + 0.251X1 - 0.082X2 + 0.097X3 + 0.123X4 + 0.087X5 + 0.203X6-0.112X7 + 0.010X8 + 0.220X9. From the results of the study the variable Compensation, Safety, employee participation has a significant influence on the Job Satisfaction of Educational Personnel at the Semarang State Polytechnic The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained an adjusted R2 value of 0.61. This means that 61% of the variance in the Satisfaction of Educational Personnel at Semarang State Polytechnic. While the rest (100% - 61% = 39%) is explained by other factors outside the model.
