Abstract

This research is aimed to know the influence of work motivation, compensation and work environment toward performance of operational employee in PT. Jasco Logistics. The methods of data collection are interview and questionnaire completion. The sample of this research are 73 respondents and analytical method used are the validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression conducted with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) test methods and Goodness of Fit Test The result of regression analysis indicates that work motivation, compensation and work environment have positive influence on performance of employee. Based on t test it is indicated that eadership, motivation, work discipline have positive significant influence on performance of employee. Based on F test, independent variables simutaneuosly influence the performance of employee significantly, with coeficient of determination (R2) of 0,679. This means that 67,9% of performance of employee could be influenced by work motivation, compensation and work environment, while remaining 38,1% is influenced by other variables which are not observed

Abstract

The purpose of this research was find out the influence physical need motivation, security, social, self-esteem, and self-actualization on employees jobs saticfaction, and how much was that influenced. The method of analysis in this research used validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression test, t test, f test, and the coefficient of determination. The result obtained from testing of 5 variable hypothesis t-test > t-table 1.(3,477>1,661), 2.(2,496>1,661), 3.(3,370>1,661), 4.(6,266>1,661), 5.(5,103>1,661) so we could conclude that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The results obtained from testing of f test, show that f test > f table (240,820>2,31) so we could conclude that h1 was accepted. From the results show the value of the coefficient of determination was 0,924, indicating that the motivation to work had the effect of 92,4% on job satisfaction and the rest was influenced by other factors which were not examined in this study

Abstract

Kendal's specialty snacks are one of the culinary heritages that need to be preserved. Very reasonable to be developed. The purpose of this study is to formulate a business development strategy by increasing strengths and reducing the weaknesses of marketing aspects to seize available market opportunities. The object of the research is the micro industry member of KUB Bina Usaha in Jambearum Patebon Tourism Village, Kendal Regency, which produces Kendal typical snacks "emping ketan". The survey results show that the micro industry is facing business problems including market demand in certain seasons fluctuating very high; increasingly fierce market competition; potential markets have not been served optimally. Marketing is still passive, just waiting for buyers to come. Based on these problems, through observation and FGD with the help of questionnaires and subsequently the data is processed qualitatively by classification methods, the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the micro industry can be mapped. A suitable strategic approach is the SO (strength-Opportunity) and WO (Weakness-Opportunity) strategy. Strategies that implement efforts to seize opportunities by utilizing strengths and reducing weaknesses. The micro food processing industry can increase promotion and expand networks by utilizing technological advances such as the internet, conducting training and marketing management assistance, redesigning product packaging to make it more attractive and complementing packaging equipment that can improve quality to seize the opportunities available

Abstract

During this several period, the production ofGum Rosin produced by Perum Perhutani asthe only producer has given goodcontribution for the export development ofGum Rosin, Indonesia. The domestic sales isinclined to down, it happens caused theexistence of the substitution products formanufacturing the raw material of soap andthe wane of industry’s buying power. Thisstudy is trying to examine the factors thataffect the number of Gum Rosin export. Tounderstand whether the factor of Gum Rosindomestic price affect the number of GumRosin export, to understand the number ofGum Rosin production factors affect thenumber of Gum Rosin export, to understandthe export price factor affect the number ofGum Rosin export, to understand the domesticsales factor affect the number of Gum Rosinexport, to understand the exchange rate valuefactor affect the number of Gum Rosin export.The result of this research shows that variableof Gum Rosin domestic price, the number ofGum Rosin production, the Gum Rosin exportprice, the Gum Rosin domestic price and theexchange rate of rupiah, significantly effectstoward the number of Gum Rosin export inPerum Perhutani. The result of the researchidentified the flow of Gum Rosin based on themarket share, for all this time, the majormarket share of Gum Rosin Perum Perhutaniis India, but still lost out to China.

Abstract

The research is aimed to gain a map of the cities/districs and the competitive advantage of creative industry sectors  as a base of city branding. In order to achieve this goal, secondary data from BPS and Bekraf are used. There are 15 creative industry sectors in 35 Cities of Central Java.These data are analysed by using three methods, those are ShiftShare, Location Quotient, and Specialization Indices.ShiftShare analysis is employed to map the competititve advantage of creatice industry sectors in Central Jawa. While Location Quotient, and Specialization Indicesare used to map cities/districts in Central Java which has a competitive advantage to empower the creative industry (results of shift share analysis).The analisys results show that Surakarta City, Demak District and Magelang District have ability to empower their creative industry sectors to push their economic growth.The results also show that Klaten District which is a transit district of the two center tourism city (Surakarta and Yogyakarta), their manufacture sectors have a positive competitve shift and  biggest contribution for their economic growth. Acomodation and beverages, information and communications, also company service are the primacy creative industry sectors of Surakarta City and Magelang District. While trade is the primacy creative industry sector of Demak District

Abstract

Fish fumigation effort is one form ofeconomic activity in the village BandarharjoNorthern District of Semarang-basedhouseholds. The number of entrepreneurs inthe Center Industrial Fish Smoke inSemarang approximately 35 entrepreneursand have a considerable role in supportingthe economic movement of the people andhelp the city government's program to reduceunemployment, constraints faced by UKM inimproving competitiveness is the limitation ofthe means of production , limitations thecompany's management (finance andmarketing), yet have a fish cleaning andhygienic production space and representative,labor is not using safety equipment, becausethey have not understood the importance of K3 in the works. UKM Partner namely IkanAsap Bapak Sa'at and Ikan Asap Bapak HRustiono. Steps taken is to provide trainingand mentoring which includes the handling offinancial management, production andmarketing as well as make the chimney of abrick, tile floors production site, wherewashing fish of cement, gutter for drainage,signage, socialize K3 and provide equipmentproduction and safety equipment as acomplete work. With the training andguidance given, then the UKM Partners mayconduct financial management, calculate thecost of production and the selling price ofproducts. In addition UKM Partners canconduct production process with better,cleaner and healthier products.

Abstract

The objective of this final report is to know  influence of the implementation of performance management system (PMS) to employee’s performance at Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Jawa Tengah.  Observations, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies are the instruments used to collect data. Questionnaires were distributed to 57 employees as respondents.The analysis data used the method of multiple linear regression coefficient analysis. Regression analysis is used to determine the influence of performance management system (PMS) to employees’ performance. Data are processed using SPSS 18.00.The data showed that the calculation of regression coefficients was Y = 0,285X1 + 0,285X2 + 0,371X3.  It means that result of regression gives positive influence on employees’ performance.  The coefficient of determination is 0.289.  It means that the employees’ performance of 28,9% is influenced by performance management system (PMS).  While the rest of 71,1% is influenced by other factors.  The value of variable regression coefficient indicates a positive effect, Performance Management System (PMS) has significant influence to employees’ performance.The recommendation in this study are Perum Perhutani should improve evaluation performance, especially; supervisors identify problems and provide solutions.  Implementation performance, especially; employees strive to achieve planned performance targets.  Planning performance, especially; superiors and subordinates set performance targets that are relevant as well as employees know clearly how performance is measured.

Abstract

A file is a record of activities in a variety of forms and media in accordance with the development of technology, information and communication which was made and received by the person who create the files in the implementation of social life, state and nation. Based on the functions and uses of file, files can be devided into dynamic and static file. Improper file handling would give some effects to the process of the activities in its organization or institutions.The records and archieves need management’s attention, qualified human resources and adequate place as well. File regulation in Indonesia are regulated in Law number 43 of 2009.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bentuk media promosi dalam pembentukan opini calon mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines), dan mengetahui hubungan antara promosi dengan opini calon mahasiswa Polines. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan responden sebanyak 90 calon mahasiswa Polines TA 2017/2018 yang dikelompokkan berdasarkan kriteria pola seleksi masuk yaitu melalui jalur undangan, jalur kerjasama, dan jalur ujian tulis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa dari ketiga media promosi yang paling efektif adalah personal selling,kemudian advertising, dan terakhir sales promotion dalam membentuk opini calon mahasiswa. Semakin banyak promosi mengenai informasi mengenai Polines yang diterima calon mahasiswa maka akan semakin positif pula opininya mengenai Polines
