Abstract

The study has purposes to analyze the influence of import container flow (AIC) and box/crane/hour (BCH) on the import container dwelling time (ICDT) at Semarang Container Terminal (TPKS). The analysis tool uses Multiple Regression conducted Classical Analysis Test. The study use secondary data that obtained from TPKS such as monthly report of import container flow, monthly report of box/crane/hour and monthly report of import container dwelling time. The study has significant levelα = 0,05for simultaneously and partially on the import container dwelling time atTPKS. The result of F-test shows that F sig. value (0.000) less than significance level α (0,05), that means import container throughput and box/crane/hour have significant influence on the import container dwelling time at TPKS. While the result of Multiple Regression Analysis was ICDT = 37,148 – 2,352 LnAIC– 0,331 BCH. The result of Multiple Regression Analysis shows that regression coefficients of import container flow and box/crane/hour have negatively influenceon import container dwelling time. Coefficient regression of import container flow= -2,352, that explains if import container flowincreases by 1%, the number of import container dwelling time would decrease by 2,352 days. Then coefficient regression of box/crane/hour= 0,331, that means if there is an increase of box/crane/hour by 1 box/hour, the import container dwelling time will decreases by 0,331 day. While the result of Coefficient of Determination (R2) = 0,323 or 32,3%, it means that dwelling time factor  at TPKS is 32,3% explain by import container flows and box/crane/hour

Abstract

This research was conducted in the campus area of Tembalang where  in the last 10 years laundry business began to be in booming. This study formulates the problem related to the dimensions of any underlying consumer interest variables and what factors can represent consumer interest variables. While the purpose of this study is to determine the dimensions underlying consumer interest variables and to determine the factors that can represent the variables of consumer interest. This research is a survey research by taking a sample of 100 respondents by using purposive sampling of a laundry customer population in the area of Tembalang. While the method of analysis used in this study is a factor analysis which is one multivariet analysis techniques that are widely used in marketing research. The results of testing instrument showed that the instrument is valid and reliable. While the SPSS processing results show that Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value (KMO) of 0.857 exceeds the value of 0.5 which means that on the basis of this KMO test factor analysis is feasible. In this study,  to determine the number of valid variables, It is used Eigenvalue value. With this criterion, a factor having an Eigenvalue of one or more 1 is considered valid. The results concluded that the dimensions underlying consumer interest variables in using laundry services identified as many as 25 components. Of the 25 components, on the basis of factor analysis extracted into 5 factors considered valid. The five factors that can represent the variables of consumer interest are interpreted as hospitallity, accuracy, guarantee, performance and convenience

Theanalysis tools used are test of validity, reliability test, F test, T test, the coefficientdetermination and path analysis. From thedata, has obtained the equation coefficientcalculation line as follows: Y =0,424 X1 +0,232 X2 + 0,735 ɛ1 Based on the equation, itcan be seen that trust contributes greatly tocustomer satisfaction and 73,5% is thecontribution of other factors. The second pathcoefficient equation: Z =0,370X1+0,334X2+0,315Y+ 0,441 ɛ2 Based on the secondequation, it can be seen that trust gives agreat contribution to customer loyalty and44,1% is the contribution of other factors.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyze the influence of International Crude Oil Price Fuel Consumption and Production on Fuel Import and to find out how many contributions of all independent variables to dependent variable. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method was used in this study. Data used in this study were secondary data collected from PT Pertamina (Persero) and summarized by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource (period 2005 -2016). The result of F-test showed that simultaneously and significantly all of independent variables influenced dependent variable. Meanwhile, t-test result showed that only Fuel Consumption had a significant influence on Fuel Import. However, the other independent variables did not have partial influence on Fuel Import. While, based on coefficient of determination test, it was found that International Crude Oil Price, Fuel Consumption and Production had a high contribution in explaining fuel import. In addition, the interpretation model showed positive equation of Fuel Consumption, so it means that if there is an increase in Fuel Consumption then Fuel Import will also increase.
