Abstract

PT. Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch’s company performance which can be explained by export volume, fluctuates every month from 2017-2020. Factors that could be the cause of these fluctuations are the container availability and exchange rates. The research aims to analyze the influence of Container Availability on export volume, and the influence of Container Availability on export volume with Exchange Rate as a moderator variable at PT. Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch’s and to find out the contributions of all independent variables and moderator variable to dependent variable. This research is an explanatory research with quantitive approach. Simple Linear Regression Analysis and Moderator Regression Analysis method is used in this study equipped with the Descriptive Statistics Test, Classic Assumption Test, Coefficient of Determination, and T-Test. Data used in this study are secondary data which are obtained by collecting the data from Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch and Bank of Indonesia from January 2017-February 2020. The output from this research shows that the independent variable has a significant effect on the company performance of Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch, and exchange rate can moderate the influence between container availability and company performance. Suggestion that can be taken are paying attention to the number of container availability so they can meet exporters’ demand and export volume of the company will meet higher number at maximum, and an effective strategy to allow them to benefit from advantageous rates, as well as deal with the downside risk. Further study is needed to investigate the other factors that influence export volume/company performance

Abstract

Purchase intention was the stage where consumers make a choice among several products or brands included in a selection set, and in the end consumers will determine their choice to make a purchase of an item based on various considerations. The problem in CV Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia was purchase intention of Bakpia Jenang Product fluctuated which could be seen from the sales of Bakpia Jenang in 2019. Purchase intention can be influenced by several factors including promotion, product innovation, and product knowledge. This research aims to analyze the influence of promotion, product innovation, and product knowledge on purchase intention to Bakpia Jenang product at CV Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia Kudus. The sample consisted of 100 respondents. The data were collected by interview, questionnaire, and literature review. The analysis method was using multiple linear regression analysis by SPSS version 24,0. The result of this research stated that the promotion and product knowledge have significant effect on purchase intention to Bakpia Jenang product at CV Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia Kudus partially. While product innovation has no significant effect on purchase intention to Bakpia Jenang product at CV Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia Kudus partially. It can be seen in the result of t test in which t count > t table. The result of the promotion was 3,046 > 1,984 and the prduct knowledge was 8,475 > 1,984. While the innovation product was -0,975 < 1,984. Based on the result of determination coefficient test, the promotion, product innovation, and product knowledge have significant effect on purchase intention by 77,8%, meanwhile the rest of 22,2% was influenced by other factor.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the existence of batik lasem entrepreneurs in Rembang district during Covid-19 pandemic. Respondents were all batik lasem entrepreneurs according to data from The Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs, Rembang Regency, totaling 120 entrepreneurs. This study uses confirmatory factor analysis techniques and maximum likelihood estimation in SEM (Structural Equations Modeling) from the statistical package AMOS 24.0 (Analysis of Moment Structure). The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a semantic differential scale. The results of study is consistent with the hypothesis which shows that entrepreneurial orientation significantly affects the performance of the batik SME business with a koefisien standardized estimated 0.451 and P-value ***, as well as environmental adaptability has a positive effect on the batik SME business performance with a koefisien standardized estimated  0.555 and P-value ***. From this research it can be learned that entrepreneurs can still rise from adversity during covid 19 pandemic if they are able to adapt to the current environment that tends towards digitalization while still hold firmly to the principles of entrepreneurship

Abstract

PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch of Central Java is a company engaged in the field of social insurance business owned by the Republic of Indonesia in the Central Java region. This research aims to determine the effect of work discipline and quality of work life on the employee performance of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch of Central Java. The data collection methods used in this research are observation and questionnaires which were distributed to 39 employees of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch of Central Java using saturation sampling.  The methods of data analysis used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination,.  The results of this research shows that work discipline and quality of work life have positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the employee performance.  The result of the analysis obtained Adjusted R2 value is 0,423, it means that the contribution of independent variables in influencing the dependent variable is 42,3% while the remaining 0,577 or 57,7% is influenced by other factors which are not examined in this research.

Abstract

The development of technology and information can be used by a company to build the customer trust.  A customer  trust is needed to make long term relationship between customer and a company. This research is implemented to know the influence of Information Quality, Service Quality, and Customer Experience On Customer Trust at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota by knowing the partial and simultaneous influence of information quality, service quality and customer experience toward customer trust at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota. The data used in this research is primary data taken by interviewing the manager of  PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota and customer questionnaires. The sample in this research is 100 customers of  PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota. The Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and insidental sampling.  The sata analysis model used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of coefficient determination showed that 82,3% of customer trust is influenced by information quality,  service quality and customer experience. While,  the other is influenced by a other factors which are not examined in this research. The hypothesis result showed that information quality doesn't have a significant effect toward customer trust partially, service quality has significant effect toward customer trust and customer experience has a significant effect toward customer trust. Information quality,  service quality and customer experience have a significant effect toward customer trust simultaneously

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and discuss the impact of the magnitude of the influence of the wages and the IHSG on the Profits of the consumer care industry in Indonesia during 2009 to 2019. The study use the expalantory research method, which is related to the hypothesis test between the affecting variables against predicted variables in the scheme of a model. The analysis technique in this research is linear regression for processing  the secondary data and the time series type for 11 years. This study provides evidence of the hypotheses is stated in Model 1, there is a significant effect of the Wages variable on the Profit of the consumer care industry in Indonesia is 80.90 percent. In Model 2, there is a significant impact of 87.70 percent between the IHSG on the profit of the consumer care industry in Indonesia. Simultaneously  shown in Model 3, there is a significant influence between the Wages and the IHSG on the Profit of the consumer care industry in Indonesia, is 90.40 percent

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure the impact of compensation and work environment towards the employee performances mediated by the job satisfaction. This is an Explanatory Research. The population in this study were employees totaling of 106 people. The sample of this research is 83 people. Data collecting techniques used was questionnaire, and analyzed using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction mediates the effect of compensation on employee performance partially and job satisfaction mediates the effect of work environment on employee performance absolutely or perfectly

Abstract

Work discipline  probleme of employee of  PT Wahana Sun Motor Semarang Indomobil Nissan Setiabudi can be seen from fluctuating attendance level. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of non physical work environment, reward and punishment on work discipline partially and simultaneously. Analysis used in this study was descriptive and quantitative. The data was collected using a quationnair, interview and literature. The data was analyzed by multiple linear regression. The number of respondents in this research was 30 employees. Statistic analysis result showed that non physical work environment partially hasn’t significant influence on work discipline. In the other hand reward and punishment have significant influence on work discipline.  Simultaneously non physical work environment, reward and punishment have significant influence on work discipline. Based on multiple linear regression equation calculates, obtained the equation Y= 3,233 + 0,013 X1 + 0,346 X2 + 0,312 X3. Work discipline was explained by non physical work environtment, reward and punishment by 40,1% while 59,9% were explained by other variables were not researched.

Abstract

According to Presidential Regulation No. 98/2014 on Licensing for micro and small businesses, micro and small entrepreneurs are required to register business legality. However, the implementation effectiveness of this regulation is still unknown. This study aims to analyze the profiles of Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) students who have a business and the legality constraints of MSME startups. This research uses empirical juridical method. The data was collected through an online questionnaire using the Surveymonkey application for Polines students who have a startup business based on MSMEs. There are 139 students who have businesses participating in this survey. More than half of their businesses are in the form of MSMEs. A third are engaged in the culinary and creative industries. 78.26% use digital technology platforms. Almost all of them use the Instragam platform and some use the Facebook, Shopee, Bukalapak, twitter, YouTube, Tokopedia platforms. As much as 82.86% stated that they do not have legality by law. Even though they think that business legality is important, they have not tried to register because of several factors such as being busy. Some stated that they intend to register their business when it runs smoothly, has the potential to become large, and has costs. Their startup business has not been registered because they feel that their business is already running smoothly. It can be concluded that the implementation of business legality regulations is still low and implies the need for synergy between local governments, lecturers, and practitioners to jointly socialize and assist business legality

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine customer satisfaction of Gojek application users with the Go-Pay feature through e-service quality, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness during the covid-19 pandemic. Respondents in this study were gopay users consists of students and workers in Semarang city with a sample of 100 respondents from the entire population. This study uses confirmatory factor analysis techniques and maximum likehood estimation on SEM (Structural Equations Modeling) from the statistical package AMOS 24.0 (Analysis of Moment Structure). The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a likert scale. The parameter estimation results are in accordance with the hypothesis that e-service quality significantly affects customer satisfaction with a critical ratio (c.r) of 4.177 and P-Value ***, as well as perceived ease of use has a positive effect on consumer satisfaction with a critical ratio (c.r) 3,471 and P-Value ***, also perceived usefulness have a positive effect on consumer satisfaction with a critical ratio (c.r) of 3,639 and P-Value ***. From this study it can be concluded that midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic consumers are still greatly helped by the gopay e-wallet feature. These benefits can be seen from the level of effectiveness and efficiency of prices, which through Gopay the costs incurred by consumers are cheaper than cash payments
