Education has an important role for child development. This research is a field research. The focus of the research is a study of the perspectives of students of the BK UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Study Program related to juvenile delinquency. The alpha generation or today's youth is the generation that emerged at a time when technology was advancing very rapidly. However, the development of the digital era goes hand in hand with moral degradation. Therefore, it is important to instill family education as the first education for children. The results of the study using simple linear regression analysis showed that the effect of family education on the prevention of juvenile delinquency was indicated by the value of R = 0.440 and the magnitude of the effect was 19.4%, which was proved by R2 = 0.194 which was included in the moderate/enough category. There is a significant influence between family education on the prevention of juvenile delinquency because the family is the first education for every child. Family education is the main basis for a better future life for children. But the rest is certainly influenced by other variables because children are not always in the family, such as the environment which also has a strong influence on child development.

The highest level of the cognitive process hierarchy is Higher-Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). HOTS allows students to solve challenges, but time for processing is limited. Based on the findings in the field, many students do not have the skills related to HOTS. Based on these findings, developing a learning model that can increase HOTS in students is necessary. One of the learning models that can improve HOTS is the project-based learning model (PjBL). This study aimed to produce a project-based learning model for improving HOTS. This type of research is on developing a 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel with modifications. The subject of this research is a project-based learning model. The instruments used were a needs analysis sheet, material analysis and PjBL model validation sheets. Methods of data collection by observation, questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that the project-based learning model has met the valid criteria for increasing HOTS.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the learning model, which consists of problem posing and conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) and critical thinking on learning outcomes-oriented (HOTS) on the content of mathematics lessons. The research was conducted at a state elementary school in Jakarta, with a sample of 68 students. The independent variables are learning models and critical thinking, while the dependent variable is HOTS-oriented learning outcomes on the content of mathematics lessons. The method is an experimental method with a 2 x 2 research design. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity and Anova tests; Tukey's test was also used as a follow-up test. The results showed: 1) there were differences in the learning outcomes of HOTS-oriented mathematics between students who used the problem-posing learning model and students who used the CUPs learning model; 2) there are differences in HOTS-oriented mathematics learning outcomes between students who have high critical thinking skills and those who have low critical thinking skills; 3) there is an interaction effect between learning models and critical thinking on HOTS-oriented mathematics learning outcomes; 4) there are differences in HOTS-oriented mathematics learning outcomes for students who have high critical thinking skills between those using the problem-posing learning model and the CUPs model; 5) there is no difference in the learning outcomes of HOTS-oriented mathematics students who have low critical thinking skills between those using the problem-posing learning model and the CUPS model. The conclusion of the research is the problem posing learning model and critical thinking skills affect the HOTS-oriented learning outcomes of mathematics lessons. This implies that problem posing and CUPs are effective learning models in improving learning outcomes, so they can be taken into consideration and as new alternatives for teachers.
