Extremism, radicalism, hate speech, and even the rupture of inter-religious ties, are problems facing the Indonesian nation today. Al-Hikam as one of the boarding schools able to survive in those problems, by encouraging religious moderation. This study aims to explore the process of internalizing the value of religious moderation in Al-Hikam Islamic boarding schools and analyze the realization of transformative competencies in the process. An instrumental case study design was chosen for this research. Observation and in-depth interviews were conducted to obtain data. The results showed that there were 3 models of value transformation, verbal, symbolic, and written. The methods of imparting values are carried out in two ways, namely providing standardized sources of accurate information and structured practices through pesantren programs and activities. The internalization process is formed through joint service activities involving various elements of the moderation agency. This study arrived at the theoretical finding that maximizing the function of co-agency in pesantren consisting of the Kyai board, teachers, peer colleagues, and santri guardians at the transaction stage, is effectively facilitates the internalization of values by the agents (santri) of religious moderation obtained at the transformation stage into an inherent identity, namely moderate humans. This achieved identity also brings students to achieve transformative competencies: creating new values, reconciling tensions and dilemmas, and taking responsibility.

Education is a crucial component of human resource development. Education will impact the quality of graduates and serve as a standard for business and industry. However, due to the resulting disparities, education becomes a serious issue, resulting in a high unemployment rate. One of the initiatives to improve the quality of education, particularly vocational education, is the implementation of the teaching factory. This study's objective is to evaluate the implementation of a teaching factory in vocational education, specifically at Vocational High School 2 Klaten for building majors. In this instance, the Directorate of Vocational High School Development evaluates the implementation of the teaching factory in the fields of expertise Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) and Building Concentration, Sanitation, and Maintenance (KGSP). In this study, context, input, process, and product (CIPP) were examined using a quantitative methodology known as purposeful sampling. According to the findings, the implementation of a teaching factory in vocational education remains insufficient due to a number of constraints, including a lack of human resources, infrastructure, and industry collaboration.

This research aims to obtain students' reading habits to strengthen their English reading skills. This research uses a desciptive qualitative approach. This research examines phenomena related to students' reading habits in strengthening and improving English reading skills. The sample was 100 fifth-semester students of the English Reading Class. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data collection process uses three types of data: 1) observations obtained to observe students' reading habits during learning activities and 2) questionnaires given to students to find out their habits outside the classroom according to their point of view and the situations they experience. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research conclude that students have good reading habits in the campus environment and read a lot of books to complete their coursework. Meanwhile, reading activity at home is very low and parental support in building reading habits is also non-existent because reading activities together are not carried out at home. The results of this research also have implications for teachers' understanding of how to motivate students to have high reading habits outside the classroom and also provide authentic teaching materials so that reading activities can be done more outside the classroom.

The current study examined educational Decision Support Systems (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This study evaluated traditional face-to-face teaching, online learning, and blended learning based on four criteria: effectiveness, cost efficiency, accessibility, and technological requirements. Each criterion was weighted according to its importance. After standardizing and weighting the selection matrix, each instructional style was given a composite score for direct comparison. Blended learning outperformed the other methods, scoring 0.620. The findings suggest that integrating digital and traditional education could boost efficiency. However, the model was sensitive to weighting assignments and couldn't account for nuanced qualitative factors. Refined weight assignment, qualitative variables, and AI could improve schooling and other decision-making in the future. This study showed that DSS and SAW can help make educated education decisions.

Despite the optimism of many scholars, activists, and educators for a fully multicultural world, the aims of people of colour and multiculturalists are still hindered by social problems such as racism, inequality, injustice, and poverty. This research aims to explore multicultural education in a nation that is becoming more aware, specifically focusing on students studying sociology education. The study method adopts a qualitative phenomenological approach that focuses on comprehending the significance of different experiences and human interactions. It is crucial to cultivate an understanding of students' sociology education in order to promote awareness of intercultural marriages in both academic and non-academic settings. Resistance to implementing intercultural education is present both within the organisation and from external sources. Multiculturalism aids students in understanding and valuing the various aspects of culture, language, ethnicity, religion, and race that contribute to the Indonesian nation, which is essential for the formation of national identity. Multicultural education theorists and policymakers in universities should challenge assumptions about ethnic and cultural dominance and promote the inclusion of the Indonesian language in multicultural education.

The Peer Assessment Technique provides an opportunity for individuals to evaluate each other, and encourages lifelong learning and continuous improvement. Moreover, this current study aims to investigate the impact and influence of the Peer Assessment Technique on students' writing skills. Besides, the first-year students in the odd semester of 2023/2024 who attended the writing class were selected as the research sample using the simple random sampling technique. The Peer Assessment Technique was used as a treatment in the experimental class. Then, the scores from the students' post-test were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test to see the significance between the two classes. As a result, the data analysis showed that the Z score was negative (-4.161.) which indicated that an alternate hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) was definitely rejected. At the same time, the Peer Assessment Technique is considered to have a notable for its impacts on promoting students' writing skills since it has promoted a more efficient and quality-oriented learning environment.

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is a program designed to develop exceptional and prepared graduates to enter the community or the workforce. Islam-Muhammadiyah (AIK), as the speciality of Muhammadiyah colleges, seems to have "lost" its role of helping to put the MBKM program into place in higher education. This research is to explore the opportunities and challenges of AIK during the implementation of MBKM. This is qualitative research with a literature study method. The data was collected through the collection of library sources in the form of journal articles, books, and other references related to the theme. Content analysis is used to analyze, dissect, and interpret the data in a discussion about the opportunities and challenges of MBKM in AIK education. One of the opportunities for AIK to play an important role in the implementation of MBKM: a) college students are permitted to pursue AIK courses outside of their own study programs or institutions within the framework of Muhammadiyah colleges; b) AIK becomes a hue in every activity of the implementation of MBKM; c) AIK is one lecturer’s obligation (caturdharma). The challenges are a) the status of AIK is still regarded as quite unimportant and b) some disparities amongst Muhammadiyah universities. Muhammadiyah education and the higher education council must collaborate to give AIK a higher priority in the application of MBKM. Future research is expected to study the MBKM strategies in terms of AIK in Muhammadiyah colleges.

In the modern era of digitalization, teachers serve as a pivotal element in the educational process, instrumental in shaping future human resources. Students, particularly in the field of economics, are encountering increasingly competitive challenges, underscored by the rapid evolution of knowledge and technology. Independent learning emerges as a critical response to these challenges, aligning with the requisites of 21st-century education through the augmentation of technology-mediated learning environments. This study proposes the development of economic e-modules based on generative learning, aiming to furnish a valid and practical learning tool. The investigation enlisted a sample comprising 107 students and three educators across three schools. Employing the Research and Development (RD) ADDIE Model—comprising stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—the study scrutinized the efficacy and validity of the proposed e-modules. The findings reveal that the e-modules exhibit high validity, with scores of 0.975 and 0.987 for the e-modules and their content, respectively. Practicality assessments conducted across School 1, School 2, and School 3 in Pekanbaru yielded percentages of 94.29%, 91.42%, and 100%, respectively, demonstrating the modules' applicability and utility in the context of economic instruction. Economic e-modules rooted in generative learning principles not only enhance the enjoyment of the learning process but also significantly improve students' conceptual understanding and active engagement. This research underscores the potential of such e-modules to revolutionize economics education, catering to the evolving demands of both students and the educational paradigm of the 21st century.

In the modern era, bilingual competencies not only enhance job opportunities and international collaboration but are also critical for effective environmental management in educational programs. Thus, environmental management of bilingual programs must be thoroughly examined and well-implemented. This article analyzes the policies and implementation of environmental management, along with influencing factors, at SD Alam Al Fath in Jambi City. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method developed from an interpretive paradigm. Through interviews, observations, documentation, and interactive analysis using Miles Huberman's approach, it is concluded that the environmental management of the bilingual program at SD Alam Al Fath in Jambi City is implemented through a well-structured series of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities. There are five main supporting factors for these activities and three hindering factors: time constraints in the school environment, the lack of some supporting facilities, and various levels of language proficiency. This study suggests that student categorization can improve the effectiveness of bilingual programs in schools and similar programs elsewhere. However, if there is no possibility, inductive and expository strategies with direct and cooperative learning approaches could be preferred to improve the Arabic and English language proficiency of heterogeneous learners.
