Abstract

Indonesia has launched a reform agenda for the quality of madrasah education through the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, especially in terms of improving the quality of madrasah teachers as part of the sustainable development carried out by the government in the field of education. Therefore, this research aims to highlight the factors underlying the reform agenda on teacher quality. In addition, how madrasahs take the momentum of the end of the pandemic as a turning point to make comprehensive improvements. This research uses a qualitative research paradigm with a literature approach, where data is collected from the study of various literature related to the topic of discussion. The data is then verified and analyzed systematically to be presented in a structured manner. The results show that there are at least three main factors that encourage madrasahs to reform the quality of teachers related to aspects of digitalization, adaptation, and creativity. These three aspects are the core competencies that are relevant for madrasah teachers to face various situations today. The digitalization aspect departs from teachers' low teaching technology skills when implementing online classes and using various alternative learning technologies. The adaptive aspect is how the teacher's ability to respond to uncertain changes, where the rapid transition of situations requires teachers' attitude and ability to adapt to various situations. The creativity aspect for teachers is the ability of teaching art that is needed for teachers to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for students both during online and offline learning.

Abstract

The discourse of the digital era qiraat sab’ah  study in Indonesia faces theoretical and practical problems. Theoretical problems are shown by the minimal number of qiraat sab’ah  experts, while practical problems are evidenced by the low interest in learning qiraat sab’ah. The DITPD Pontren survey in 2021 explained that only 65 of 26,975 Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia teach qiraat sab’ah. The next survey from the National Statistics Agency in 2021 shows that only two universities in Indonesia teach qiraat sab’ah. This requires further investigation to solve theoretical and practical problems in qiraat sab’ah. This study aims to discuss the implications of developing Fayd al-barakat book on learning qiraat sab’ah  in the digital era. This study uses qualitative methods to explore the genealogical aspects and development models of the Fayd al-barakat book in the digital era and its implications for learning qiraat sab’ah  at Ponorogo. The data source was obtained from the manuscript of the qiraat sab’ah  KH. Husein Ali and interviews with 1 Kiai, 5 ustadz, and 6 students. The method of tracing genealogical books and chain paths uses Rahman's hermeneutics. Data analysis uses content analysis methods through data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Display data using domain analysis. The results of this study showed that the development of the fayd al-barakat book at PPTQ al-Hasan Ponorogo produced a manuscript of the qiraat sab’ah  book, while its implications for learning qiraat sab’ah  were relevant to the characteristics and realities of the digital era society.

Abstract

This study delved into the realm of early childhood education, specifically focusing on the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of teachers in Riau Province, Indonesia. Quantitative data were gathered from a sample of 124 early childhood educators catering to children aged 3 to 5 in school-based settings. The research utilized an instrument adapted from Kabakci Yurdakul's TPACK-Deep survey, tailored to suit the unique educational landscape of early childhood education in Indonesia. Data analysis primarily involved descriptive techniques. The findings underscored the imperative for teachers to enhance their TPACK competencies to effectively tackle emerging challenges and elevate the quality of education, aligning with the evolving demands of children's educational needs. However, a notable gap emerged as many educators struggled to integrate technology into their teaching practices, often due to insufficient access to necessary technological resources. This highlights the pressing need for educators to continuously hone their expertise in technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge to optimize learning experiences for young learners.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of a toupic (touch picture) application to help stimulate the increase of expressive language in children with speech delay. This type of research is Research and Development (RD) using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). This research was conducted at SLB Negeri 1 Martapura, South Kalimantan. Data collection techniques using interviews, tests and questionnaires. interviews are used to get an overview of needs analysis data and product evaluation by users. The test is used to measure speech delay children's expressive language skills in the initial and final conditions after using the product. while the angle is used to measure the level of product validation by the validator. Qualitative data from interviews were analyzed descriptively while quantitative data from tests and questionnaires were analyzed using statistics with the formula P=(∑R)/N X 100%. The development of the toupic application goes through several stages, namely: 1) the analysis stage as an initial research to determine the conditions and needs of children, 2) the design stage is carried out by compiling a conceptual framework for application development, 3) the development stage, namely developing an application framework by information and technology experts who then validated by experts with a validation percentage of 95% and declared very valid, 4) the implementation stage to test the toupic (touch picture) application on speech delay children with a result of 82%, and 5) the evaluation stage showed an increase in the expressive language skills of speech delay children. from the percentage of results before and after that is 52% to 82% indicates that the application does not require final revision anymore. Thus it can be concluded that the development of the toupic application (touch picture) can improve the expressive language skills of speech delay children.
