Al Ishlah Jurnal Pendidikan
This journal focuses on advancing scholarly research and critical discourse in the field of education. It publishes original research articles that address contemporary issues and emerging trends in curriculum development, instructional practices, learning processes, educational policy, and teacher preparation. The journal aims to contribute to the development of educational theory and practice in both national and international contexts. The journal also welcomes submissions related to environmental education and studies that examine learning through psychological, social, cultural, cognitive, and historical perspectives. Research that explores the interrelationships among teaching, knowledge construction, learner development, and educational contexts is particularly encouraged. Furthermore, the journal accepts research and academic discussions across a broad range of subject matter within education, including mathematics education, religious education, language pedagogy and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), natural sciences, social sciences, history, chemistry, and other related educational disciplines. The journal includes the following thematic sections: Learning: Theoretical and empirical investigations concerning learning processes and their development across diverse contexts. Issues and Trends: Analytical and interpretive essays addressing current educational, social, and philosophical issues. Learning in Everyday Life: Studies of learning experiences occurring outside formal academic settings, such as in homes, communities, digital environments, and cultural institutions. Teacher Education: Research on teacher preparation, professional development, and the broader conditions shaping the teaching profession. Education Policy: Critical analyses of educational policies, their principles, implementation, and effects on educational practice. Comments and Criticism: Scholarly dialogue aimed at clarifying, challenging, or expanding upon previously published works. Book Reviews: Reviews of recent publications relevant to the field of education. The Editorial Board invites manuscripts employing rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches that demonstrate academic originality and significant contribution to educational scholarship. All submissions must present a thorough review of relevant literature, articulate a clearly defined research problem or argument, and provide well-grounded conclusions addressing implications and limitations.

This study aims to determine student perceptions of Digital Comics as a learning media in senior high school in Surakarta. The design of this study used a survey with a questionnaire given to 80 students of class XI randomly. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. A questionnaire is used to collect data, which is distributed to student population samples. The technique for collecting data is to distribute questionnaires and then analyze the results quantitatively using percentages and analysis tools. The results showed that 79.2% of students were not familiar with digital comics. Learning media can be seen in that 68% use PowerPoint, 24% use books, and 8% use learning videos. Students' perceptions of digital comics' use as a learning media showed that 93% of students agreed, and 7% disagreed with using digital comics in the L2 reading classrooms. This study implies that digital comics' use in the EFL reading classrooms is an alternative activity and provides fun learning for students.

Pre-service teachers are agents involved in several teaching training before involving in the professional community. The present study was designed to look at the enactment of Scenario Card-Lesson Study (SCLS), a previously developed learning media. A single pre-service teacher with disabilities was voluntarily involved in the project. Data were garnered through multiple video-recorded observations and checklist documentation. Findings suggest that the participant demonstrated contextual practices of classroom teaching using SCLS. Based on the themed-finding, the participant designed the lesson plan effectively, improved classroom teaching skills, and wrote the lesson study report well. In addition, based on our observation session, The participant also engaged fully in student-student discussion and teacher-student interactions. One tangible finding from this study is that the participant appeared autonomous in designing the teaching and learning plans. Suggestions for policymakers, stakeholders, and future researchers in pre-service teacher education are offered in this paper.

The presence of technology should be able to penetrate the limitations of space and time in improving the quality of learning. This study aims to develop learning media for Smart Apps Creator (SAC), determine the level of Validity and Reliability of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media products, and determine the efficiency of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media products. This research was conducted at SMK Sandikta Bekasi City. This research method uses the ADDIE model approach which has five steps, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The development of media based on Android Smart Apps Creator (SAC) uses Al-Quran material as a way of life. The validation of this development product was carried out by three media experts and three material experts and continued with a one-on-one trial of three students and a small group trial of three people. The results of the research and development that have been carried out have produced a physical model of learning media products based on Android SAC (Smart Apps Creator). The results of the validation of the validators stated that the media was suitable for use in class XI SMK students. With the respective eligibility rates of 85% and 83%. SAC product efficiency The development of SAC media has been effective but not yet maximized. This is due to the limited hosting capacity to accommodate all materials and materials that are more complex. This can be seen from the effectiveness test of 58% pre-test and 86% post-test, so there is an average difference of 28%.

This study aims to analyze the management of teacher career development at MAN 2 Model Medan. The research focuses on planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating teacher career development at MAN 2 Model Medan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical study method. Obtaining data using observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data verification. The results of this study indicate that the management of teacher career development at the MAN 2 Medan Model is carried out effectively. It can be viewed from the aspects; (1) planning for teacher career development in the form of motivation and application of a conducive organizational culture (climate); (2) organizing human resources (HR) for teachers in madrasah through leadership support, technical meetings, coordination between madrasah leaders and vice-principals involving supervisors to improve teacher qualifications; (3) the implementation of teacher career development is carried out based on promotion, transfer, and promotion; (4) evaluation of teacher career development is carried out based on online-based supervision and teacher performance assessment. This research hopes that it can be used as a reference for further research on the management of teacher career development in Islamic educational institutions. This research also has implications for teachers in Islamic educational institutions to accelerate careers as educators in madrasah.

The management of educational institutions requires accountability for managing education costs related to the management of school financing. Accountability is a concept of openness in education management. This study aimed to determine the effect of planning, reporting, and standard operating procedures on the accountability of the management of education costs. This research used quantitative research. Participants were employees of the University of Indonesia. Data in the form of a questionnaire was taken using a survey method. Data analysis used regression analysis. The results of the study concluded that 1) there is a direct positive effect of planning on the accountability of the management of education costs (t-count 2.406 t-table 2.08), 2) there is a direct positive effect of reporting on the accountability of the management of education costs (t-count 2.981 t-table 2.08), and 3). there is a direct positive effect of standard operating procedures on the accountability of the management of education costs (t-count 2.547 t-table 2.08). This also impacts the efficiency level of accountability in education cost management at the University of Indonesia.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the BTL learning paradigm is feasible, legitimate, and effective in Islamic Religious Education sessions. The study population consisted of 48 students in grades VIII A and B at SMPN 7 Medan. This research method combines Research and Development and the ADDIE Model. The study's findings indicate that when compared to the conventional model, the BTL learning model in Islamic Religious Education sessions produces a practical BTL model. Following trials, the BTL learning model for Islamic Religious Education lectures resulted in a valid model and steps. After implementing the BTL learning model in Islamic Religious Education lessons for students in grades VIII A and B of SMPN 7 Medan, it was discovered that the processes from learning to development were beneficial.

The development of MOOCs-based learning media is essential for increasing student motivation. This study aims to analyze the needs of developing MOOCs-based learning media to increase students' motivation on temperature and heat material. This type of research is survey research and literature study as a basis for further development research. The research instrument used was a needs analysis questionnaire with 17 questions given to 75 respondents from SMA Negeri 1, SMA Negeri 6, and SMA Negeri 9 Bengkulu. In this study, data analysis used descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study obtained data that can be concluded that currently, students need the development of learning media based on MOOCs to increase student motivation on temperature and heat material. This study concluded that the development of MOOCs-based learning media to increase students' motivation on the material of temperature and heat is needed in learning. Overall, this research implies that MOOCs-based learning media is needed to increase students' motivation, especially in learning the material of temperature and heat. The implications in learning other materials are highly recommended to be implemented to use the given learning media to gain effectiveness in learning activities, especially in learning the material of temperature and heat.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of problem-based teaching and learning models to increase learning achievement and the relationship with students' critical thinking skills. This study used an experimental method with a design pretest-posttest control group. The population in this study were all semester four students of the Biology Education Department. Analysis of experimental data to measure the achievement of student learning outcomes with t-test and critical thinking skills using percentage description analysis, using statistical computer software programs. The research results show an increase in learning achievement, with an average N-gain for problem-based learning units is 70.9 (moderate) and 57.93 (moderate) for conventional classes. The t-test results show that the t-count value is 3.61 and the t-table is 1.991, so t-count t-table. The conclusion is that there are differences in learning outcomes in implementing problem-based teaching and learning models to increase learning outcomes with critical thinking skills of four at the Private University of Aceh Province, Indonesia.

This research aims to monitor and evaluate inclusive education and consider strategies that the government can implement. Is it library research thinking was obtained from seven different international research article websites. Article search was prioritized for publications with a timeframe between 2013 and 2021. We got 13 qualitative reviews. The obstacles faced are the common knowledge of educators, inadequate infrastructure, minimal accessibility, and limited learning resources. The strategy carried out is the need for commitment from the authorities to supervise and evaluate inclusive education, which is supported by continuous support from the government during the implementation process in the field. The government's commitment to allocate funding resources and collaboration with other stakeholders is believed to realize education for all.

Early childhood cognitive intelligence that has not been fully developed in inclusive schools needs serious attention, considering that this age is a crucial growth period and the golden age of children. This study aims to analyze and understand inclusive education management in children's cognitive intelligence in RA Al-Iman, and RA Tania. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out circularly, starting from the display power, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that inclusive education in developing children's cognitive intelligence in both institutions was planned and systematic, starting from identifying the needs of inclusive education, designing inclusive education, implementing inclusive education that leads to cognitive intelligence, and assessing inclusive education. This research has implications for the importance of implementing an egalitarian education and refers to equal rights so that children can mingle, play, and get the same education without any differences.
