Abstract

Malfunction of the body's organs, heart failure, makes a person and those closest to them feel worried, which will result in the person's death. There are too many deaths caused by this deadly disease every year. The main problem throughout the world is heart disease, the death rate of which is getting higher and higher and is uncontrollable for various parties due to many factors, especially in terms of knowing it early or not being able to predict it accurately. Therefore, the aim of this research on heart failure problems is to improve heart failure predictions with optimal accuracy, namely the neural network method with the particle swarm optimization method. Previously, heart failure prediction research had been carried out using several methods, but here we will increase the accuracy of the methods that have been carried out. After the testing process on the neural network method and after being optimized and getting results from the particle swarm optimization method, the accuracy increased with an increase of 08.35%. As well as increasing AUC results with an increase of 0.067%. From the results of increasing the accuracy of the neural network method, testing the particle swarm optimization method on heart failure disease data can be used as a reference for stakeholders.

Abstract

This study proposes utilizing the machine learning technique CART to classify the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). To expand the features used, the CART classification model was developed based on data collected over the previous 2 to 4 years. The data sources included the Bandung City Health Office for the cases of DHF, the Bandung Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency for the climate data, the Bandung City Central Statistics Agency for population and educational history data. The top-performing CART classification model over the past 2, 3, and 4 years achieved accuracies of 93%, 93%, and 90%, respectively. The models that exhibited the highest accuracy values and optimal number of feature extensions were chosen as the best ones. CART is among several machine learning techniques that can effectively measure the most impactful features during the classification process. The meteorological parameters were found to be irrelevant in the classification process. This study reveals that the population size, male population proportion, and educational attainment levels are the most impactful features in the classification of DHF spread in Bandung City. The research provides valuable insights into the classification of DHF spread in Bandung City through feature expansion.

Abstract

Data security has become crucial, especially in today's era, therefore we need to protect our personal data to avoid unwanted incidents. The primary objective of this research is to empirically demonstrate the viability of our proposed methodology for encrypting color images using the Salsa20 algorithm, renowned for its stream cipher characteristics, which inherently afford it a swift processing speed. The encryption method we use is to take each pixel from the original image and convert it into bytes based on the RGB value in it, then encrypt it using a keyword that has been converted using a hash function. In this study, we carried out several evaluations to evaluate the performance of the encrypted and decrypted images to test the method we propose, including histogram analysis and compare patterns, visual image testing, and key space analysis. Through this experiment, it has been proven that Salsa20 is effective in maintaining confidentiality and image integrity. Histogram analysis reveals differences in pixel distribution patterns between the original and encrypted images. Visual testing shows that the encrypted image maintains good optical quality. Keyspace analysis ensures the security of encryption keys. The performance evaluation resulted in an NPCR above 99%, UACI had been reached 69.28%, MSE was closes to 0, and the highest PSNR was around 61.89dB, this shows that encrypted images recovered with high accuracy.

Abstract

In the current context, ensuring the secure transmission of data over the internet has become a critical concern, with information technology playing a fundamental role. As society advances into the digital information age, the importance of network security issues continues to increase. Therefore, the need for cryptographic technology has emerged to overcome these challenges. Cryptography includes symmetric and asymmetric cryptography. An example of symmetric cryptography is the RC2 algorithm. RC2 is a symmetric encryption algorithm that uses a single key to encrypt and decrypt data. The ciphertext is then concealed within an image using the Stepic technique. The RC2 encryption method also utilizes symmetric encryption, ensuring the security of the encryption process while maintaining efficient encryption and decryption speeds. The result of this research is that the average percentage of MSE is 0.00%, and for PSNR and AVA are 70.85% and 34.93%. However, the AVA value is quite unstable because the average value is below 40%. Meanwhile, image encryption results in the longer the text that needs to be hidden in the image, the higher the UACI percentage. This is inversely proportional to the NPCR, the longer the text that needs to be hidden in the image, the lower the NPCR percentage. The average results obtained for UACI and NPCR values are 41.46% dan 98.13%.

Abstract

The teacher's role is very important in improving the national learning system. Many honorary teachers are empowered in curriculum development in a number of schools who want to collaborate in improving the quality of their students. The purpose of this research is to provide rewards to honorary teachers who have long served for the progress of the nation in the world of education to be appointed as permanent teachers. The selection method was carried out through a criteria weighting technique with the MCDM-AHP method which was integrated with the WASPAS method. The technique of developing the MCDM-AHP method as an eigenvector measurement concept with proof of optimization through mathematical algebra matrices that is correlated with the Expert Choice application to get optimal values. The result optimization value is integrated with the WASPAS method as a determinant of the ranking system for permanent teacher candidates. This method is a unification of the concepts of the weight product model and weight sum model methods, so that it has special stages to support decision making with the WASPAS method. The results of selecting twelve honorary teachers for appointment as permanent teachers can be seen from the acquisition of the Qi optimization value as a ranking. The results of support for decision making for permanent teacher appointments with the highest optimization value were given to TC04 with a weight of 0.878; followed by a significant difference in the next rank. The findings of this study provide evidence that the integration of the MCDM-AHP and WASPAS methods provides continuous optimization results for decision-making support.

Abstract

The progress of smartphone technology is now very rapid, supported by many renewable features, even many users are competing to get the latest products without regard to the costs that have been incurred. The problem that arises is that it is increasingly difficult to select technology-based products with many criteria. The purpose of writing this paper is to provide the best solution for selecting technology-based products with multi-criteria to suit user needs by taking into account the costs incurred effectively and the use of contradictory multi-criteria applications. The presence of technology products always has many criteria that make it more difficult for users to choose products as the right choice according to their needs, thus the right method is needed as a solution to obtain technology-based products such as smartphones. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used for the evaluation and selection process. This AHP method will collaborate with the ELECTRE and PROMETHEE methods as a comparison solution for smartphone product selection. The resulting comparison will be an applied model for smartphone selection that produces the best decision-making support according to user needs. The results of the collaborative implementation process of the ELECTRE and PROMETHEE methods provide a decision on the rating system. The collaborative application of the AHP method to the ELECTRE and PROMETHEE methods provides optimal decision support for the selection process, so that this can be used as a comparison material in making decisions regarding the selection of smartphones as technology-based products.

Abstract

There are already a lot of cloud services on the internet which provide services, some of them even provide free facilities, but they are still limited in usage and capacity. Capacity is calculated based on saved files, temporary files, and even trash files. Moreover, data security cannot be guaranteed because the hardware is not properly set or owned by someone else. The cloud used cannot guarantee the connection and the bandwidth. The stigma of building cloud computing revolves around huge costs, not limited to operational and maintenance costs, nor the proper location for the cloud network equipment. As an effort to build data storage with large capacity, bandwidth regulation, and data protection, which is located in a private location, building a cloud computing service system which is efficient in time, cost, and place, and has good performance is no longer an impossible thing to do. With the help of Microcontroller technology, Raspberry Pi, a Cloud Computing with a Hybrid network could be built to reduce cost, time and space for the system. With the NextCloud application embedded into the cloud computing server, performance can be improved, including easy data synchronization that will flawlessly operate as a Client Server on a wide variety of today’s devices with examples being PCs, Tablets, Notebooks or Smartphones.
